We were the winning bidder on this vehicle and were excited about it. We called to schedule pickup, ordered tires and wheels (as the 22 are not our style) and then were called and told the owner picked up his vehicle . Turns out the owner didnt like the price he sold it for and backed out, after the fact. Well I mounted new tires, on new wheels, and cant return them, so what about that? Why am I obligated to buy, but a no-reserve, online auction seller can renege on the sale? I even offered to pay more and negotiate with the seller, pay his reserve of $1700. but still not a response.I bid with the understanding that if I was the high bidder, I would own the car; not if I was high bidder, that I could be strong-armed into paying more. And what about tires and wheels that now I dont have a vehicle to put them on? Feel we really got shafted this time around. I expect more from Lightning.

Won 2 items last weekend, the staff was very friendly, the items were as described & as pictured. We even took our piece of jewelry we had won to the jewelers to be looked at & resized, the jeweler we worked with had very good things to say about this company as well. This is my long over due Thank You to Lightning Auctions. In 2018 my father passed away. His household included all the usual things, but also a lot of equipment for hunting and fishing. He collected many antique items and had many taxidermy trophies. Without Lightning Auctions I dont know what we would have done with all of it. It would have taken years to sell that many pieces. Lightning Auctions did not play around and packaged my item better than any other auction house I have dealt with. They also allowed me to save my items from multiple auctions to save on shipping. I would recommend them to anyone.

I love vintage items for my home and lightning Auctions often has a great assortment of treasures. They are very nice, efficient and seem to genuinely enjoy what they do. We have purchased from other auctions but lightning auctions has been the best. The app is also a great feature and makes bidding easier. We are very pleased with all of our purchases.

They do not threaten to cause you physical harm and find you since they have your personal information like their competitor in town. They DO NOT have employees who steal your credit card number like their competitor. This is the only auction in town you should be buying from... DO NOT buy from their competitor in the stead area unless you want to purchase WRONGLY DESCRIBED JUNK, be threatened, want your credit card stolen. My husband and I bought a car from here and several items from their other actions. The car runs great and looks great! There are quality items auctioned here and they have some very rare vintage items also. I am very happy that this place exists.

Rude staff. They sold a fur coat held together with hot glue... when I showed them the young man was non caring and rude. A few months later they sent me an invoice for earrings two days after the auction ended. I called offering to pay... but explained I had left town for work for three weeks. If it had been marked “won” or invoiced me as normal the next day - I could have picked up on time. The person said pick up by Wednesday- period they can’t store things.Then when I tried to let the owner know he was absolutely rude and showed anger with my “complaining”.I referred hundreds of people I met in my work who were buying homes in the area... now I will do the exact opposite- BEWARE what used to be an honest local company has turned into a scamming rip off joint!

The main room run by Hector has gone to great trouble many times helping me unload and write up my lots that Iam selling. Linda has always been very prompt in paying me. Lightning typically conducts about three estate auctions and one auto auction each month. They also sell items on consignment. I have purchased numerous items and even two vehicles through them.Although the auctions used to be live, they are now all conducted online. I prefer the excitement of the live version. I find their website annoying.

I have sold many many Items of all kinds, no junk allowed, why waste there time on such A thing, they always give 100 percent on selling all of your fine things, and always polite and knowledgeable, just don’t take junk in there, they will make U money, which always makes everyone happy, so B Happy

I tried to point out that there was a problem with their internet bidding system and they would not believe me nor accept it. They wanted me to furnish proof in order for them to address the matter, all I had was a witness that saw my screen that I placed the winning bid amount yet it was sold to someone else at the price of my bid and I had no opportunity to re-bid because it showed that I had the winning amount. I dont care that I lost, I just wanted to point out to them that there was an issue maybe get some explanation but they refused to legitimize my claim, instead they were mad at me with one employee hanging up in anger towards me. I have no reason to make it up folks I already wasted enough time on them and to get treated like that is pretty lousy... BEWARE

My favorite auction house! Lightening and Kyle are awesome.

Staff will never offer to help or even say hello. It is a shame they are the only auction in town that does what they do. Very disappointing.
