If you’re looking to buy a horse from them, they have fantastic horses, but they treat it like buying a car. They are more concerned with the transaction than making sure the horse and family are a fit. Was looking at a $12,500 horse (first horse for our family) and they offered riding lessons to make sure it was a good fit for me and my kids before making the purchase - I agree completely with this policy - but then 24 hours later they send me a message letting me know the riding lesson will be $45 per person. They require this before buying, whether we buy or not. Imagine a car dealership charging you $180 before taking a test drive, that’s what they are basically doing. It’s a scam plain and simple to make more money on the sale by charging an additional fee for the test drive. Again, I have no problem with the policy, it’s great, but really? I’m spending $12,500 on a horse as an extension to my family, and they decide it’s a perfect way to make a few extra $$ by charging for lessons? Why is this not provided? It’s a SCAM and turned what should be a great experience into a terrible transaction. Very glad this came to light before finalizing a purchase. Buyer beware.

My daughter and I both took lessons from Star city Farms and had a great experience! They love all animals there and not only does she teach you how to ride but she teaches you how to take care of your horse. & last but not least- The Horse Halloween party is always a blast.

Brinkley and Rachel have been so knowledgeable and helpful with everything! Weve taken lessons for almost a year and my kids have come so far. We bought a mare from them and she has been so amazing! I would totally recommend Star City Farm!!!

We had three girls taking lessons here. The teacher made them feel safe and confident from the first lesson. They got challenged to do things that were hard but gave them lots of confidence in the end. The horses are very well trained and taken care of. So glad we found this place.

I cant say enough about this amazing place! I have been taking adult riding lessons here for a little over a year. It is very affordable, and you get to work with the best people ever. You will learn how to care for and bond with their well taken care of horses. You are taught by very knowledgeable, patient, and understanding instructors who know what they are doing and how to make you feel comfortable and successful. Class sizes are small enough that you have the needed attention to succeed in learning. Coming here was the best decision I ever made! Thank you Star City Farms for making dreams become realities!

My 15 yo daughter loves taking lessons with Brinkley and her team! Brinkley runs a great program. My daughter has learned so much about horses, animal care, and improved in her riding and confidence. She has made friends as well. The horses are great too. I also took lessons for several months and loved every minute of it. We’ve been at Star City Farm for over a year and don’t plan on going anywhere else!

Brinkley is amazing!!! She has seriously taught me so much in the short time I’ve been training with her and I am so happy I found her! She is able to help you connect so much physically and mentally with your horse. She gives you all the ins and outs and teaches you everything you need to know about riding/owning a horse. My husband and I take adult riding classes once a week. Both of us are fairly inexperienced but in just three months we have seen HUGE improvement in our skills, knowledge and confidence. The horses are incredible! I’ve ridden several of them and have been impressed with them all. And Brinkley is great at offering constructive criticism and instruction, while also complimenting a job well-done. We’re starting our fourth month and are happy as can be!

Even though you are in a group setting (which means more affordable prices) she keeps each student progressing at their own pace. She has such a knack for teaching and is so great with kids. Our trainer Jessica is amazing. She trains both my daughter and I in the same class which is just so special for us. She is able to help me advance while building my daughters confidence on Norman. Norman is the sweetest horse but he’d rather have snacks 🤣. Brinkley runs a great program and her facility is clean and well cared for. The horses are great. We were at another training facility and Star City Farm blows it out of the water. Thank you and your team Brinkley for all you do for this sport and sharing it with my daughter and I.

I’ve been in the horse industry for over 25 years, and I can honestly say that Brinkley has one of the best operations I’ve ever seen. It may not be the fanciest place, but the way she works with horses and the way she treats her clients is outstanding. I have never hesitated to seek out her advice and her help with any of my animals. I would recommend anybody work with her, from beginner to advanced.

The owner of Star City Farms is so wonderful to work with. You can tell she has a passion for her work and a genuine love of animals. I have never met anyone more talented when it comes to training horses, or more patient when it comes to teaching others about horses. I want to thank Brinkley for the great day I had at Star City Farm! I’ve had horses for most of my life and every time I spend the day with Brinkley I learn something new. She is always willing to share her knowledge of horses with me and teach me new things.I was also able to watch Brinkley give three riding lessons. One lady was more experienced, one had been taking lessons for 5 months, and I got to watch a very first lesson. All three lessons were tailored for the experience and ability of the rider from brushing, to saddle and bridle, riding and after the lesson care. Then they got to help feed all the horses and ducks. We all had a great day!

Brinkley is such a good teacher she is so fun! They have a brand new arena that is super nice! Such a fun environment loved visiting all the animals after!

I recently purchased a horse from Star City Farms. Let me tell you, this place has amazing horses. I was very picky about wanting a horse I could trust with my kids (new to riding) every ad I read on KSL said kid friendly horses, and I was always disappointed. Not the case here! Brinkley was super helpful and told me everything I needed. She even went and bought me new tack because I was unsure what I needed. She then went and picked up a saddle she helped me find online. If I ever need another horse I know who to call.

My kids have been riding at Star City Farm for the last 3 years and they love it! The trainers are friendly and know their stuff and the horses are super good with kids. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for lessons.
