We rented a dump trailer and a mini excavator. The customer service was awesome. Especially for a very busy Saturday they gave my son and I good instruction and spent extra time with me on answering additional questions. equipment worked well, but our project took longer than expected. Unfortunately I returned the equipment back super late. Both Alan and Gina waiting for us longer than expected. Sorry for the late return, but they were super nice and kind about the situation. I would bought them donuts and cookies if I had the time. Thanks for all the help yesterday. You guys rock :-))

These people are extremely ignorant when it comes to renting out any type of trailer. I told them I am renovating my house here in Spanish Fork and just have a bunch of carpet, pad and LVP flooring to take to the dump. I have a 6 cylinder Toyota Tacoma that tows 6,500 lbs and I added an addition 5,000 lbs of towing on top of that. I repeatedly told them that I am just taking the above mentioned items and that I would not be using it to load anything heavy. I have a professionally installed tow package and they were persistent on saying no. That is 11,500 lbs of towing capacity and they still refused and said it has to be a minimum of a half ton for any trailer.

Helpful and the equipment was good and reliable. The rates are the same everywhere so thats fine and expected. All in all it was worth while and a good experience.

Great service. Rented a tracked skid steer and brush cutter. That cutter is a beast. We cleared just over 1.5 acres of thick berry brush. It looks so open now. Wish the skid steer had a front window to keep the dirt out of the drivers area though. Still so very worth it.

Everyone was super helpful from the front desk to the guys in the yard. There weren’t any surprises when it came to the rental agreement and pricing. The yard guys walked me through how to use it and they offered suggestions for best usage.

I havent rented anything yet, stopped in and looked at some equipment though. Staff was very helpful in finding what I needed and providing me printouts with information and pricing on the spot. When I start my project I will be back to pick up the things that I need.

Alan demonstrated the true meaning of customer service yesterday. Im in the middle of a project with some pretty critical timing for everything to work out right, and it all came to a complete halt when at the end of the day I realized I couldnt continue until I drilled a 2.5 hole through my concrete foundation. A couple years ago I rented a large yard tool from them and had a really good experience, so I raced over hoping they were still open and could help. Not realizing they had closed a few minutes earlier, Alan still came to the door and unlocked it calling me back as I was walking away. Instead of saying they were closed, he asked how he could help me. I explained what I was needing to do and having no clue what tool I really needed, Alan showed me a couple drill options that would work, patiently answered all my questions and then made sure I walked out with the best solution. I very much appreciate Alans help. Ace Rents definitely had the right tool for the job. Its so rare to find someone who really cares about helping people as much as Alan demonstrated. I will definitely be back.

Used them many times and they always have good prices and what I need

I’m probably not their favorite customer. A year ago I rolled a bobcat. They were polite and helped me get it upright and even got me a replacement tractor. I immediately paid for damages when the repair bill came back even though it was hefty and I had no way of verifying the turbo on the bobcat needed be replaced. I took them at their word.This year I rented a trencher and used it in the normal fashion and completed the job. As I loaded it in the trailer it noticed a hydraulic fluid leak. I returned it and was told that I must have tipped it on its side and would need to pay damages, although a minor amount. Since I hadn’t done anything wrong, or tipped it in any way, I rebutted the payment as wear and tear on the equipment. I talked to a man named Craig, the mechanic, told him everything that had happened and even though he or the front office gal didn’t believe me, agreed to waive the fee. They took me at my word.So, even though it was an unpleasant experience for both parties, they are honest with you in the end.I’ll rent from them again if possible.

I rented a big tiller for my backyard work. So glad I did. Everyone at Ace was so helpful. Alan helped me and walked me through exactly how to work this beast. I was a little nervous to run this big piece of equipment but he helped me figure out everything before I left. Great experience and I would 100% recommend going here for any equipment needs.

Wasnt impressed. Price was good, but the lady at the front desk wasnt friendly at all. She didnt even look up at me or say hello, until almost 30 seconds of standing there. She was too busy finishing something up, rather than saying, be right with you. She didnt smile at me, wasnt courteous. Service was fast, easy and inexpensive, but I feel like I shouldve at least gotten something courteous.

We rented a sod cutter to remove old grass from the hillside by our house. Within minutes we could see there was going to be real problems trying to use the machine. We called down to Ace to get some advice and help and they sent someone to our house to help us!Brady Olsen came and helped us with the most difficult hillside project because the machine would turn off on that angle. Without his help we could never have finished the project. He was unbelievably kind and patient through the entire thing and then even took the machine back to the store.Way above and beyond. Some people say that companies don’t care about their customers anymore, but Brady proved that isn’t true with Ace Rents SF. we will be lifelong customers, after this I can’t ever imagine using anyone else.

Very dishonest. Its not my fault you are closed on Sunday. If you rent something on Saturday you dont get a 24 hour rental like you do other days of the week. If you dont have it back by 5, a 9 hour rental then you are charged a second day. When I called it was implied that if I didnt pick up the machine first thing then I probably wouldnt get it. So I rented it and it sat all day Saturday so I would have it. When I returned it Monday morning I was told if I had picked it up at Saturday night then I would have been charged for one day. Hmmmm. That would have been nice to know BEFORE. I feel duped and taken advantage of. Go to Home Depot.

Rented a mini-excavator back in July to move boulders around. The excavator was fine, worked great. They told me I had to fill the tank all the way up, but the tank was only halfway filled when I got it.The biggest problem is their communication. When I called in to reserve the machine the girl told me they dont deliver and I needed to bring a 3/4 ton truck to pick it up. I get there with a 3/4 ton truck and Im told by the lady there I need a full ton pickup. They then tell me I could have had it delivered.Two stars lost for the young girl that doesnt know what shes doing, but three for the employees that made it up for her and provided great service.

ACE RENTS should implement a rental rewards program. I have spent a lot of money with those folks and they fail to recognize that. Instead of saying something like, thank you for being a loyal customer and coming back your next rental is 50% off! They say, you went over the four hour minimum by 30 minutes and now you owe us for the day rate.

Great place to get what I need!

So the front desk lady is awesome, but the outside people always seem to busy standing around talking to help when dropping off. Also items are for the most part cheaper to rent at other places.

I have been renting from Ace Rents in Spanish Fork for over 19 years and recently there has been a noticeable trend in higher prices and lower quality, not a good combination. The last two rentals were telehanders and both were improperly maintained and very old equipment. Even though the one had a significant safety issue (the parking brake didnt work) I only mentioned the issues without really filing a complaint. When I returned the second unit and mentioned about 5 things on the unit which were not working (or improperly maintained) I did throw in a little complaint about how the prices have been rising and how the quality of the equipment has been decreasing. Instead of the owner taking my complaint as constructive criticism I was told that I should just go somewhere else. In a nut-shell she had excuses on why the equipment is old and poorly maintained and if I had issues with that or the higher prices I should just go somewhere else. I think I will take her advice and I hope anyone reading this will also take her advice. My general contractor recently gave me the exact same advice when he saw I had rented fromAce Rents, he said go to Diamond Rentals their rates are much lower and the equipment soooo much nicer.

The sander they gave us to use was old ran down and did not work well at all, it chewed up all the sand paper we put on it. We end up taking it back and renting one from home depot. What took us hours to do, was done in less then an hour with a different sander. The service here was horrible!
