I have owned a Bravo model (Best Tugs) for 3 years for my TBM. I have not had any issues, and I have been extremely happy with it. I needed a second tug for my vacation home, so I bought a Romeo for my other hanger. Paxton helped me in going over the different style of tugs and options, and which would best be suited for what I need.We planned on shipping it but I was too eager to wait for the shipping, so I chose to fly out to pick it up myself. I was met by the owners of Best Tugs at the Provo airport on a Sunday morning to go over the operation and help load it in the plane.Before I bought my first (Best Tugs) I bought a different remote-control tug that almost tore my nose gear up. As long as the Best Tugs units are built to this quality, I would not consider buying anything else!

These are what I purchased and expected when I ordered the tug.What I did not expect was the most incredible pleasant purchase experience I have ever had. I was greeted with a cheerful energetic informative sales person on the phone. Refreshing considering we are going through some of the most challenging time the world has ever seen. Everything went as promised. The delivery was very well organized and the tug arrived exactly on time. The crate it came in was designed for ease of unloading and the unpacking instructions were very simple and precise. The icing on the cake was opening the lid of the crate and having a thank you helium balloon with a bag of my favorite candy attached. How did they know.After months of use we love our Best Tug. I recently ordered a Best Tug for my 2016 Cirrus SR22T. I had a special request on the build of the tug, and it was done perfectly. The quality of this Tug is EXCELLENT in every way. The attention to detail is 1st rate. My tug showed up perfectly packaged, charged up and ready to use, which was great since I had a 2 block run with it to the hanger. Did I mention that it was packed with helium balloons, and a Thank You card? Another big surprise. The tug does everything they said it would and more. There was even a great follow up surprise that showed up a few weeks later. There are a lot of tugs out there, but nothing like the heavy construction of the Best Tug. The companies attention to the client is unbeatable as well. Save the shopping around, and go for the best. I am open for questions, and NOPE, I dont work there or have a relationship with anyone at the company. They have simply earned this Way to go Guys. A perfect tug!

I have owned an Alpha3 for a little over a year. There cannot be a better tug. I have a slight incline into my hangar and this is the third tug I’ve tried and it is the winner. Among other things the customer service is outstanding. They’ve helped me immensely with an issue that was not related to the tug but a battery that needed service. They made sure I was completely comfortable and satisfied... and I am. I even received a call from the owner of the company to help troubleshoot... Now what company does that?? Amazing!

Prior to buying my hangar, I rented hangar space at U77 from a friend that let me use his Best Tug Echo model (coincidentally, U77 is home base for Best Tugs)... I was amazed at how precise and user friendly the controls were, how easy it was to connect and disconnect (even for a rookie like me), how long it held a charge --I fly multiple times per week, and have charged it once in 2017; and, most of all, that it turned what used to be a two-man job into a piece of cake for just myself.When I moved into my own hangar, I sheepishly asked if I could take the Best Tug with??? :) To my good fortune, my buddy is now flying a PC-12 and had the new Best Tugs XLP on order for his Pilatus, so he agreed to sell it to me. Since then, it has been the MVP in my Hangar, and gets daily use on either my G5 SR22T, or the Epic LT Turboprop that hangars with me.As I am just now getting back into aviation, after a 15-year hiatus, I was not familiar with Best Tugs, or the Patey family that makes them. However, I am now an evangelist for both the product, and the company... Heres why: As outlined above, the tug is great, and makes moving my Cirrus a snap. However, I noticed the air compressor fitting on my tug was broken off (likely due to past user error). When I mentioned this to Mark Patey, he had a member of his crew in my hangar within minutes, and they replaced the fitting, updated my power management software (apparently I had one of the very early models), and then showed me a few different pro tricks for attaching and releasing the plane. All this at no charge, and for a guy that bought one of their tugs used...Bottom line: I highly recommend Best Tugs --they are great people making an excellent product!
