Hold the person on the phone. Talk to the live person there. When done with the call. Approach the customer waiting. It’s simple customer service or replace your front desk.

I could not be more happy with the service that my son received today. He is 9 years old and has Down syndrome, he was very anxious to be in a new place with a new doctor. Doctor Bauer and his staff were VERY patient with my son and made him (and me) feel very comfortable and at ease. He answered my questions and had my son smiling and laughing by the end of the appointment (which is hard to do). I’m very thankful to have been referred to him!

I called at least 6 different times today (started when they opened). First couple just to see if they excepted insurance and pricing... I got transferred to a voicemail. Last call was to see if they received a referral from my child’s doc so we could actually schedule and appointment which they couldn’t tell me how far out an appointment would even be.... got transferred to a voicemail. I left messages all day and never received a single call back! Don’t rely on these people

The staff and Dr here are all wonderful! They make the experience so much easier and the audiologist is great with children of all ages! I highly recommend ENT for Children for anyone needing to see an ear, nose and throat physician for their child. The waiting room is very child friendly with lots of toys and a television for kids movies. We drive 2 hours to be able to take our children to this location because they are so great!

We were referred to ENT for children by my daughters pediatrician. My wife called them to schedule an appointment and the lady on the phone snapped back at her when my wife said she didn’t have her insurance in front of her (we were driving). Don’t know if that’s how they treat all potential patience, but we will be asking for a different referral.

Didnt see a physician, so I wont be reviewing them unfortunately. Got a referral from a well-liked, well-known pediatrician in Keller. Called to make an appointment and the lady that answered the phone assured I will never step foot in their office. Rude. Short. Curt. Would not allow me to finish sentences, and I was not speaking slowly by any means. Transferred me to another extension without description or explanation, which rang once and to a voice message box.Screw that. Id rather drive to Downtown Dallas or Fort Worth.

After having a bad experience with Dr. Bryan in Southlake, I got a recommendation to Dr. Patel & am so glad we switched! He was very attentive, thorough, gentle & patient with my daughter and all of our questions. After dealing with multiple ear infections over the last few months, he did not hesitate to suggest tubes or try to put it off when she was clearly in pain & needed something done soon. We were able to have the procedure done that same week & everything went great! I havent had any issues with the staff on scheduling her appointments, procedure or anything else & they were nice at all of our visits. I would definitely recommend this office to everyone & will go back if its ever needed in the future.

Dr. Alan Murray has done 3 surgeries to my son. Adenoidectomy, tubes, and sinuses. He is just THE BEST! Very nice person, listens my concerns, answers all the questions I have as a worried mother. Sometimes we wish he could be our kids’ pediatrician. The staff is good, nicer in Coppel than Southlake location but still nice. We have never had any issue with bills, so we highly recommend ENT for Children.

Dr. Bauer was the most impersonal Dr. I have ever met. He was rude, and very short with me and my family. When asked a question he would respond with who cares? Or I dont know, what do you think? And when asked about if my son being in the nicu could have caused hearing loss he responded Well ya, but its either that or a dead baby! When looking at my newborns ears he was VERY rough and my baby cried in pain! He even started chewing out the staff in front of us for something totally unrelated. The ONLY good thing was the lady who did our hearing tests. She was wonderful. We changed to a different Dr. In alliance and the difference was like night and day. Our new Dr. Is patient and very gentle and is taking a less drastic approach compared to Dr. Bauer who said we should go ahead and think about hearing aids for a minor hearing loss. I can not express enough that you should NOT see this Dr.

De Patel is fantastic but the staff is less than friendly. I feel like I need to fill out new patient paperwork every single time I go in for an appt or they always need my ins card (when it doesn’t change). And wait times are INCREDIBLY long. Every time my son is always seen more than 30 mins past his appointment time.

Dr. Patel is great but the communication is poor. Dr. Patel was patient and informative on my daughter’s situation. I scheduled a surgery for my daughter and was told that Jess does FMLA paperwork. I’ve reached out to her several times and left voicemails. After I couldn’t get ahold of her I stopped by a few days later with my paperwork and no one was at the front desk window. I said hello and the lady around the corner was watching a movie on her phone. She told me that Jess is actually at another location. I explained to her my issue and she took down my info and said she would forward it over to Jess. A few more days pass by and I have yet to ahold of anyone about my paperwork so I called the office again expressing my frustration to the receptionist. It was then that I learned that Jess no longer does FMLA and it’s handled by a Mayra. This was the last straw for me. Calling this office is a hit or miss and getting ahold of a someone in specific is the same. I was lucky to have someone answer from the office let alone in a specific department. I finally got a call from Mayra who didn’t receive my paperwork that I dropped off with the other lady. Needless to say I went back to my old otolaryngologist who I should’ve just stuck with in the beginning. I came here because it’s a pediatric clinic but my specialist can do the same and unlike this place, they actually give me the time of day. I made one phone call yesterday with another place and my surgery was scheduled and FMLA taken care of. I gave 2 stars because Dr.Patel seemed caring and Tracy was nice.

If you love poor, rude, incompetent front staff then look no further! Seriously, potential new patient and possibly refer other friends/family all down the drain. Look at all the previous reviews, same thing over and over. Im sure thats the first thing a parent wants to deal with when trying to get your child treated. They need training on patient/customer service care.

Staff was nice, but Dr. Bauer kept pushing surgery. My son has allergies, I asked if that would help, no? Then why? He then proceeded to explain how painful it would be and the complications...in front of my son. Took forever to calm him down after. Wont be going back.

The doctors are nice and efficient but the office staff is AWFUL. I have never been able to get a live person on a phone call. You always have to leave a voicemail and it takes them at least a day to call you back. When they finally do, they are rarely helpful and refer you to a nurse who takes another day to call you back. I have had the same experience on multiple occasions. Waiting that long is ridiculous when you have a 2 year old burning with fever and pain. I wish I would have gone with another ENT for my surgery that offers better post op and follow up care.

I think it is ridiculous that if you are 10-15 minutes late to your appointment by no fault of your own they refuse to see you. Even with me calling letting them know I was running late due to the train tracks being closed and traffic being horrible due to the closure they didnt seem to care. However, its ok for a patient to show up on time for their appointment and have to sit and wait 10-15 minutes or even longer before you are called back and then have to wait another 10 minutes to see the Doctor. That just showed me that they dont care about their patients and more concerned about how many bodies they can push through during to day to collect a check. Tried to discuss this with Office Manager but it appears that she doesnt have enough decency to call me back. Will find another doctor for my son.

! I’m very mad! I / My daughter was referred to Dr.Patel by Cooks.. THE WORST I’ve ever seen! My child has been complaining about not hearing well in her right ear.. We get here ( For the second time because the first they canceled my appointment) ( and even lucky we got to keep this one, their automatic calls told me our appointment was at 1:00 so, for the second time I checked my child out of school early, just to be told our appointment wasn’t until 3!!) Anyways, The lady Jessica did the audio test after dr cleaned my child’s ear a bit.. Nothing hardly in there.. The dr was supposed to come and tell us what’s wrong and what we need to do about it.. Well, at the end of the audio test Jessica said “ ok you guys are good to go” I was like “are you serious?, that’s it?” She said “yes” I said “do we need to come back? I mean we don’t know why her ear is like this and we don’t have a plan to try and fix it, does she just need to get used to this?” She and The dr both said if it doesn’t get better in a week to call then and in the mean time poor peroxide in her ear. Omg! You’ve got to be kidding me!!?? My daughter started crying!! This place is pathetic!! Now we have to take more days from school and more money to find a decent dr that will take time to figure out the problem!

I have now been here 4 times total for both of my boys. The only reason we come back is because there are not a lot of pediatric ENTs in the area and Dr. Patel and Shelbyville their audiologist are amazingly nice and caring. The staff, as has been stated MANY times, is the absolute rudest bunch of women I have ever encountered. Jess inparticular was over the top. When confronted about their hostility it only grew. And the amount of paper work on each visit is obscene. Thank goodness for their incredible doctors!!!

Horrible! The staff is very rude, especially the billing department. Called and left a message and received a call back 4 days later. The person I spoke with could not resolve my issue and sent me to someone elses voicemail who ironically states she would return your call within 24 hours. 5 days later I hear back from her. Scheduling is also an issue. Look elsewhere!
