I love the encouragement from the instructors. They do a great job of keeping me motivated to work through the pain. Its the most rewarding hour in my day.
Great boxing workout. Steven takes the time to grab the mits and work with people one on one during the session. Makes a huge difference and shows the coaches and management truly have a passion for boxing.
Tapout Fitness is unlike any other gym I’ve been to. They have a great variety of fitness classes, and I get an amazing workout every time. Unlike most gyms that offer boxing and kickboxing, Tapout has real 150 lb heavy bags so i get true weight resistance. Classes are the perfect size too - no tripping over other people. The trainers give everyone equal attention, and use mitts during class to help with technique. Everyone is so friendly - staff, other members etc. It’s nice to actually have fun while I’m working out. I’m getting in summer shape super quick. This is truly for everyone!
This place is truly awesome! Tap Out provides one of the best environments that I have experienced by far. There is a wide variety of classes to choose from that fit all fitness levels. The trainers are great and they always make class challenging as well as being very available to answer questions. As soon as you hit the door at this place, you will feel the positive energy!
Really enjoy working out here. Started out not in shape and easily got tired, so far in two months I lost 15 pounds and I am noticeably stronger and more toned.The southlake location is high class, clean, staff is professional and the atmosphere is great.Highly recommended and much more fun than the gym. The group setting and trainer helps out a lot.This is non-contact training setting, I even brought my younger kid siblings for fun and they enjoyed it greatly.Thank you for the great experience.
In two months I lost 20 pounds and went from out of shape to athletic, really enjoy working out here. Very clean, professional staff, and great people.Recommended and much funner than going to the gym.
Weve been coming since it opened and its the only gym my wife and I both enjoy going to. The different trainers and classes keep things changed up so its always a killer workout!

Decent staff, friendly members. I did some free classes but didn’t sign up. For two reasons. One, the bags are super light weight. So if you’re a 110lb, barely over 5-feet-girl, the bags are perfect for you. But if you’re anyone over 150lbs, got some (any) muscle on you and more importantly over 5’7”...these bags will provide you with zero resistance. So just as a heads up, if you’re thinking of joining up keep that in mind.Second reason they didn’t get my membership and only 4 stars was although the instructors and staff are friendly and even let you practice ON them, they don’t explain the techniques or combos. They just shout out random information, and this happened on multiple occasions. The instructor would shout out something and all of us would just stand around looking at each other like, “What do we do?” And he’d not explain what we’re to do until one girl yelled out, “Nobody knows what you’re saying”. lol she cracked me up.
Everything about this gym is amazing - the workout, the trainers, staff, equipment etc. It’s a very clean facility as well. Tapout’s monthly rates are super affordable, so I added their cardio and HIIT workouts to my current regimen of Pilates and cycling. I felt I was missing something, even going to spin and Pilates class. I found what was missing at Tapout Fitness. They also don’t have contracts, which I love. If you haven’t tried it, you really should! They offer a free class to make sure it’s a fit for you, prior to signing up.
