Sometimes you realize, after therapy, that a therapist has done more harm than good. That was my experience with this place. Lots of graceless judgement handed out here - towards clients, churches and the public, in general - especially a super mega church headquartered right here in Southlake. Cannot, in good faith, recommend this place.

If I lived in the Southlake area seeing Shannon Thomas and her team would be my first choice! Ive read Shannons book Healing from Hidden Abuse and it was LIFE CHANGING. Ive given the book to friends as gifts and theyve had the same experience. I also follow their facebook posts which are helpful bits of information on a daily basis. I have found Shannons work to be life affirming, boundary driven and healthy. I fully believe her practice to be the same.

Shannon is an excellent counselor. She has an ability to listen and help people focus on issues that should be addressed. Her education, experience and concern about helping people make her extremely effective. I highly recommend her for counseling.

Some of the best literature I have read regarding toxic relationships. I love Southlake Christian Counseling for the advice they give to both women and men. They are not biased when knowing that narcissism can come from both a man and a woman and I learn something new every time I read their advice.

Highly recommend. The education, support and encouragement were critical to my recovery. I was in despair. Cannot say enough about Shannon as a therapist and author. My turnaround was alot quicker with Shannons guidance.

I do not live in Texas, so I have not seen any of the counselors. However, I have read Shannon’s book and absolutely loved it and found it very helpful in my healing process after a very toxic marriage with a narcissist. I follow this company on Facebook and find their posts to be educational as well. If I lived in Texas I’d for sure go to this business for my counseling needs.

If you follow this business on Facebook you will be shocked by the amount of content they provide. I have learned so much and continue to as I am healing from Narcissistic abuse. If I was an abusive person, I’d probably try to smear and discredit them online too.

The counselors are poorly educated in treating people, can’t reccomend if you’re looking for a safe space. Therapy is about helping people, not bringing people down.
