Lanette did my hair today and she is absolutely fantastic! I had an emergency and they barely had any notice. But she took care of me super well and it now looks amazing—exactly what I wanted. Lanette is such an expert and I highly recommend her.The other people working here are super friendly and professional as well. It looks like the salon is being run extremely well.The salon looks beautiful and modern with a great layout. I witnessed a couple of bug species living there, but that shouldn’t keep anyone from coming.

Love this Toni & Guy location! I am always happy with the service provided - from the front desk to my hairstylist. Today was my first experience with Mandy and I am just so happy I was scheduled with her. She took her time with my hair color appointment and was so thorough and meticulous with everything. I recently went for a hair cut explained how unhappy I was with my last cut and the stylist cut my hair just like she did saying I see what she was trying to do?? Really?? I didn’t ask to do it better, I didn’t like the cut at all. Thanks for listening 😩😩 why people cut hair and don’t like it or get tired of the customers, but have no problem getting a tip???? Very disappointed drove out of my way, paid high dollar thinking I’d get my hair cut the way I liked it. Southlake location was the worst experience ever. Never will I ever visit a Toni and guy thanks to them…

My first time visiting this salon and I am very pleased with the atmosphere and friendliness of the employees. Jojo did an amazing job on my hair and I will definitely visit again in the near future.

My first visit was with Mandy, who fixed a BAD haircut from another salon. She was wonderful and I dont know how she managed what she did, but I left looking and feeling much better about my hair. We both knew once it grew some, I would need to come back. Yesterday, I had to make a last minute appointment, because I had somewhere I needed to be and it was important my hair looked good. It had grown out enough and needed to be corrected again. Mandy was booked and I ended up getting the first available, which put me with Wendy. My hair grew out long enough that Wendy was able to completely correct the bad haircut, that was too short to fix at the previous appointment. Because of them both, it is now a thing of the past. I look like me again! I highly suggest both Mandy and Wendy, they both worked their magic and are extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. After what I threw at them, rest assured that youre in good hands.

I came to Westlake for a conference. I found this salon by a pure accident. I just walked in and they were so kind as to take me right away. Adam was my hairstylist. I want to say THANK YOU, Adam. He spent so much time with me trying to understand what style I would like to have. I have curly hair and It is very difficult for me to find a master who knows how to work with curly hair. He was so professional, helpful. If only I could move to Texas from Indiana I would do it just because of Adam. My hairstyle makes me happy every morning. Thank you Adam! I called to schedule an appointment here because I heard how great of a salon Toni & Guy was through a friend. However, when I called some person named Alex answered and was extremely rude. Alex acted like complete trash and I will never call Toni & Guy again because of how I was treated on the phone.

This Salon is The Best! Mindy is my regular hair stylist and she is wonderful, professional and really delivers, regarding the type of hair style & color you request . She is very flexible with her schedule too. Molly was hair stylist yesterday since Mindy was on vacation and she did such a Fantastic job coloring, cutting & reshaping my hair style.I highly recommend TONI & GUY, the Southlake salon Team!

I was expecting a good cut and style but nope, Lupita is AMAZING! Quite seriously, this is the best cut and style I have ever had, and at 53yo, Ive had quite a few. The situation with my hair wasnt simple. I have mostly grey hair that I hadnt dyed in 3 months, I usually wear it short but hadnt cut it in a year. I want to let the grey grow out, try a new shorter cut and I picked this salon on a complete whim, what could go wrong? NOTHING, I left in happy tears, hands down the best hair experience Ive ever had. Lupita is amazingly talented and the entire staff was incredible. I will never go anywhere else!

The staff was very friendly and courteous, professional and talkative. They really made me feel comfortable and not left out since I usually dont go to high end hair style locations.I had a relaxer done on my hair and it was the best jobs ever done. This was the first time I felt no burning or stinging the stylist knew what he was doing and I loved the whole treatment. Im going to get a touch up soon, and hope to have the same one available, cause that was just heaven!

Got my hair cut and loved it, I completely forgot the name of the amazing person who cut my hair (I believe her name started with an M and she had short pink hair) but she did a fantastic job!

I never have to wait. The employees are experts. I always get the best haircuts. I have been a customer since the eighties.

I have tried to like the Toni & Guy in Southlake, but they just dont meet the same standards as the other locations I have frequented. I have used 4 different stylists, but this last one took the prize for worst experience ever. The first time I went to her, she kept insisting that I need to keep my perimeter (whatever that means) and if I didnt like the cut I could come back. I went back, she fixed it and it was a good cut. The second time I told her I was attending a wedding in Scotland and needed a good cut. She said she was trying a new method and spent 15 minutes at most cutting my hair. She even said she would charge me for a childs cut since it was so simple. (She didnt...) I did the best I could to confirm the cut was okay, but she was too busy hustling me out the door. WORST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER GOTTEN. My hair was like a mop, I couldnt do anything with it and it looked even worse under my hat. I will never step foot in Toni & Guy Southlake again. I dont need a hairdresser who is too arrogant to provide a good hair cut. Plus their customer service is miserable and everyone is rude. I will find somewhere else that provides good customer service and a good hair cut.

Big thanks to Kat for doing my balyage blonde hair. She corrected my orange and streaky highlights and educated me on hair. She was very attentive to my needs and was very kind and patient. My hair is really thick so it takes a while to work with but she was very patient about it. It looks so amazing and natural so thank you!!

I went to mandy at the southlake location. I needed a bad haircut fixed. She did just what i asked. I think she did a great job and i recommend her. Plus she was really sweet to talk with. Thank you for thr cut.

I work close by so figured this would be a good location to get a new haircut. I have been to many different Toni and Guy locations though out the years and have always been satisfied, but I would never go back to this location. I had pictures of hair styles I was considering, my stylist preceded to tell me he couldnt see the back of the style so he couldnt do it. Then he asked the receptionist what he should do to create the style I wanted. Then he and the receptionist tried to convince me to do another basic hairstyle from the Toni and Guy style book. He also told me he didnt like the haircut I had showed him. While styling my hair, he said that I should never leave my natural texture because it would make the style look kinky. He had no idea how to style my bangs because I had a cow lick. He also asked me what kind of layers I wanted; considering the fact that Im not a hairstylist, I didnt really know what to tell him. I was very disappointed with the whole experience, even more disappointed that it cost me so much for something I didnt want. The service was just so mediocre that I couldnt not write about everything.

Breanna is the best! I have seen her twice and both times she was warm and friendly. Gave me tips and tricks on fixing my hair and a amazing hair cut and style. Super happy!

So, I let my family member do my hair because she is going through beauty school. (My hair needed to be touched up and she said she could do it) needles to say, I went from a pretty blonde to a blue headed mess in less then 30 minutes. I went crazy!!!!! So! I called up the salon, and they booked me in immediately. I went and was very impressed with the end product. Not only did they pull all of the smurf from my hair but they managed to leave my hair looking 100 times better then what it did originally! I got a color pull, extreme, deep conditioning, cut and style for a super great price. The staff too was pretty friendly. There where a couple of team members who didnt really acknowledge my presents but my two stylists made me feel welcome. Either way I Booked myself for another appointment in a few weeks. Totally would recommend.

I called earlier today to make an appointment for an all over color and they were kind and fit my in the schedule this afternoon. When I arrived the receptionist was kind and got me a drink and brought me my stylist, Devon. He put the color in my hair fairly quick which was good. I asked him about the hair extensions they sell there and he was completely turned off by my question and seemed annoyed that I even asked. He finished putting my color in and had me move seats to make room for his next client. He had someone else wash my hair. She asked if I needed a cut and if I needed my hair dried. I said possibly a cut and yes to dry my hair. Once she finished washing my hair she asked if there was anyone to cut and dry my hair. She asked my original stylist and he said in front of me “no, I don’t have time for that.” She then asked a younger male (who seemed like an intern or something) to dry my hair. He didn’t even brush my hair before drying it. He was kind and careful about the heat. My frustration is that they were literally going to let me walk out of the salon with dripping wet, un brushed hair. They made me feel like I was annoying them that they had to dry my hair and for even asking for a cut. I normally tip at least $40 when I get my hair done and this time I left no tip. My stylist did nothing but put some color in my hair. He was rude to me. I’ve never had service like this at a salon before. I will not be returning there. Like I said, they were LITERALLY going to let me walk out of the salon with dripping wet un brushed hair. Oh, and I have hair color stained on my hairline and down the back of my neck.

I was in yesterday to get my hair lightened & root color touched up. I selected a creative director, who was supposed to be the highest level for their salon, Tracy. She was not friendly when I met her or explained what I wanted when showing her the picture of what I would like and how I had my hair previously and just wanted it to be that way again. She chose to color my roots and told me it would be a 30 minute wait though she forgot about me and it was more like 45 because she was now working with another client. She chose to have my hair toned, after asking another stylist what color she should use (remember she is supposed to be the highest level available) and passing me off to another stylist while she continued with the new client. When my new stylist was blow drying my hair I realized my hair hadn’t changed so I asked her what would need to be done to have my hair the color in the picture and she said it would need to be lightened. I asked her to ask Tracy to come over and talk to me about my hair color and why that hadn’t been done. Tracy admitted my hair didn’t look much different from when I came in though she stated “your roots are colored now”. I asked if it was a timing thing meaning she didn’t have the time to do it correctly and also admitted that played a role (I booked for an ombré so I should’ve had plenty of time and was there 3 hours total apparently she just didn’t have the time??) I realize my hair needs to be lightened in sessions but she never gave me a good reason as to why she didn’t chose to do it then other than she didn’t want to damage my hair (?) my hair is in good condition and I have it done touched up/trimmed regularly every 6-8 weeks. I tried this place because it was closer to home and my sister loves their Alliance location but I would NOT ever go back to this salon.

Been no-showed 2x by different stylists. Been a customer since 92. This time, I think Im out. I wasted an afternoon after I agreed to reschedule(their move) and when i returned, the stylist still wasnt available. The concept, of T&G worked well, but the owners have moved on. This location doesnt get much attention and the management shows it.

I have been a fan of toni & guy & their work for many years now. Because of their amazing skills & positive attitudes, I took a leap of faith & decided to get my hair dyed silver at their salon. The first session I scheduled a balayage, $190 later my hair was still blonde. It looked as if my already blonde hair before the work, just got lighter. The hair stylist explained how with going silver there would have to be two sessions. I felt relief & then went ahead & scheduled my second session, where I was told it would actually be silver. Another $120 my hair was STILL BLONDE. My boyfriend even agreed that it didn’t change a single thing. I am definitely not the type to speak up about stuff like this, because i feel as if i’m asking for too much. But after spending $360 (tip included) I know i’m definitely not asking for too much & I should get what I’m paying to get. I spoke with the manager & he was so kind, offering me a redo with the head technician. I accepted thinking because it was with an experienced stylist I could finally get my hair done to my satisfaction. No... my hair looked worse than before. I don’t know whether the fact my hair STILL WASNT SILVER, the choppiness, or the harsh line of color, is the most distasteful thing about this entire situation. After this I spoke with another manager & she was nice enough to give me a refund of $120. I appreciate all the workers work ethic, but apparently something they were doing wasn’t right. It’s so so hard to glance in the mirror & not get super aggravated knowing I had spent so much money into hating my hair. If I had known this before, I definitely wouldn’t have wasted my time & even their time with this process.

I go to Brenda for my color and Sally for my cut. They both are wonderful. I get complements on my hair all the time. I even love going in for a random style out, just for a night out. Thank you ladies!

Always a great experience when i got to T & G in southlake. the ladies there are very warming and funny. The cuts are great with lots of time and attention to detail. Sally who does cuts that are not only the style i want, but she makes sure to cut to the way my hair falls naturally. I always get complements from people from her cuts. Brenda does amazing color and even though i dont do color for myself, i have seen people who have and it looks great.

I went to different T&G Salons throughout the 90s and early 2000s & never had a problem. When the Southlake store opened, I went ahead & gave it a try since the Dallas-Sherry Ln store had closed. Back then I was sadly disappointed. The stylist only knew a handful of haircuts & over texturized my hair to the point that it looked ratty & overly thinned out. On a whim, I went back (2/26/15) to get a highlight and a cut. The highlight was awful (I cant even explain how bad my hair looks at this point) & the cut was just so-so. T&G used to be full of stylists who listened to the customer & were able to give that customer the cut they wanted. Now, I feel as if the stylists can only pull out a handful of mediocre tricks out of their bags. Not impressed & I will never go back. I am sad to say that the days of the wonderful cuts and colors from T&G stylists are over - this is based on several trips, not just one experience or one particular stylist. I cant tell you where to go in Southlake as I still havent found a good stylist here, but I can tell you that Pompeo Salon in Dallas (75 and Mockingbird) has wonderful people - try Jason for a cut and Katie for a color of any kind.

I used to go to Toni and Guy in Berlin, Germany therefore I did have some expectations. I have to say I was quiet disappointed. The staff is not friendly at all. They do not offer any drinks nor do they talk to you. Elizabeth did my haircut and I have to say I was satisfied with it. She also talks and is actually nice. Over all I have to say for that amount of money you can do much much better! I wouldnt recomment the Tony and Guy shop in Southlake TX. I am definitely not going back there.
