My barber is great. However, I forgot to calendar my appointment and completely forgot about it. Charged full amount of the haircut. Never again will this place get a dime from me.

Honestly The hair cut is great. If you can ever get a appointment. Tried three days in a row to get a appointment with no luck. Can not get anyone on the phone at the actual barbershop. All calls went to some call center that is absolutely no help at all. So I guess Ill just find another shop thats a little easier to deal with. If I were you I wouldnt even waist my time with this place.

One of the best cuts Ive had in a long time. Vonne was terrific! Perfect on the first visit. It often takes me several visits to get a barber to understand my preferences. In this case, I got a pro haircut on the first try.

Weve shopped around a lot for a good barber, they are surprisingly hard to find, or at least it has been for us. With 5 boys plus a daddy its a necessity! Finleys was fantastic. Von and Keisha were so good with my boys and their cuts were perfection. I definitely recommend!

The client experience is an highly important event. My wait wasnt extremely longer than scheduled however the professional was rushed based upon not being ready (their favorite clippers werent charged) for the day. Ive had days like those but made sure that the client knew no different. I set up the appointment online and got the regular $35 cut along with the nose waxing. After being rushed through the haircut and very quick wash no one mentioned the additional nose waxing. I didnt pay for it however I didnt receive the service nor was asked by the cashier. I assumed that Finleys Southlake must be too busy to do that service as well.

Vonne is the best in the game. Don’t waste your time with any other barber. He’s been cutting my hair for years now & cool as hell to talk to as well as a fresh cut.

Easy to book online and great service! Kesha did a great job and I now have a ton of friends due to my awesome haircut. The haircuts are a little pricey compared to somewhere like sport clips, but the quality is obviously much better then a sports clips haircut.

Ive been going to Finleys exclusively for the past few months. Ive never had a bad experience really, always a decent haircut and service, that is until today. The first thing I hear from my stylist when I sat down is I dont want to be here, Im ready to go. Way to instill confidence in your customer. I was charged from 2:00-2:30 for a haircut, and 2:30-2:45 for a beard trim, although she finished 5 minutes early without fully trimming my beard.It was like pulling teeth to have her properly trim my beard and yet it was still a poor attempt. I felt as though I was imposing on her social time with her co-workers. Thankfully theres many other barbershops in the area. They must have had the part timers in today, because Ive never experienced such a lack of customer service. Worst $50 Ive spent. The young man at the front counter gave the best customer service of anyone there.

We had a wonderful experience at Finleys Barber Shop. Heather did an awesome job cutting my 2 year old sons hair. He felt so comfortable and relaxed with her. And he looks so handsome! Fantastic job! My husband got a haircut too and they did a fab job as well. We had a great time drinking refreshments and watching TV in their nice waiting room. I highly recommend this barber shop to everyone! Honestly this has been the best experience that I have had in Texas. I just moved into town from California. Vonne cut my hair and shaped my beard. He was super personable extremely nice made me feel comfortable and cut my hair so that I looked like a million gazillion bucks. It doesn’t matter if you’re 30 minutes away from this place or an hour away from this place make sure to book an appointment and make the drive out it is worth it 100%!

I rate the place based of my boyfriend first experience with Brittany it was great did exactly what he asked. Looked great. She was great.WARNING:However yesterdays vist was horrible. My boyfriend went back and got a different hair stylest Copper London. He showed her a picture of what he would like. Just a Trim he came back home with it butchered. I didnt even recognize him. It was shaved to almost nothing with a little bit on top. After finding her on social media its looks as if she does the same haircut to all. I guessing it might be the only haircut style she knows. She than even said to him and I quote If this haircut doesnt get you laid than Ill quit my job.My boyfriend even mention that while she was cutting his hair that he needs to close his eyes and month. She than turned his chair around to where he couldnt even see. As she than started the butchering.Yes I know hair grows back as it will. I just wanted to warn the rest dont use her. If you are wanting just a trim ask for someone else.

Ive been going to this shop for over two years now and always a great experience. Tammy consistently gives a great cut no matter how I change it up each time. Comfortable waiting room with a big TV and free drinks where you never wait too long. Very bright and clean shop and everyone is friendly. They also sell a lot of great grooming products impossible to find elsewhere.

I’ve been using Finley’s in Southlake for 6-8 months. Things started out ok but service has definitely changed. I usually book online but I have been moved to different stylists the last 3 times I’ve booked. Today I was running behind, my fault, but the stylist I booked with didn’t want to come out of the break room because he didn’t want to be late for his next client. Admirable, but my hair cuts take about 20 minutes at most. I have been there enough to know, 20 minutes is about all it takes. I think I’m done with this place and will move on somewhere else. There’s a couple of good stylists in there but be careful, you may get moved around and many are not very skilled.

Have only visited for facial hair trims. Lindsey is outstanding. Fast, patient for indecisive individuals Iike myself, and spot on professionally. The place itself is classy and comfortable and are accommodating towards walk-ins, at least during the work week. Prices are about what one would expect in this area.

Easily one of the worst haircuts I have ever received. I am getting married next week and decided to go here in hopes of getting a better cut than the typical budget places. I am also very particular about my hair, so I picked Finley’s because of the good reviews.I made an appointment and didn’t have to wait. The service was good and the people were polite. But if you don’t give good haircuts that doesn’t matter.I told the stylist in detail what I wanted and she was done in about 5 minutes. She did not put any effort into the cut or style. After the cut she cut my neck with the straight razor.What makes it worse is that the 5 other customers were getting much more attentive service and better haircuts than what I received. I have been growing out my hair for the past 3 months in order to give the barber plenty of material to use for my pre wedding haircut, and all that is gone in 5 minutes.

My man Jose is hands down the best barber Ive ever had in my life. Ive been loyal for a about a year and he always brings his A game and full experience to each cut. Highly recommend (him and the shop as a whole), great atmosphere and even a few beers and sports to watch while you wait.

Both Barbers Lindsey and Jovanny are awesome and their customer service is great. Its always a pleasure talking with them both. And always happy with my cut afterwards. I have struggled for years to find a good (and affordable) barber. Boy, do I hate a bad haircut. Finleys has been right on the money every time (4 for 4). I have had two excellent haircuts from Jose. The staff seem well trained, the facilities are nice and well kept, and the prices are fairly affordable. The best part: their waiting room (with free beer).

Had appointment set, they called and asked to move it. I agreed. Called and asked to move it back. I agreed. Got there, they signed me in. I sat and waited. No one told the barber I was there. She sat waiting until finally I got up and asked what was going on. She then tried to tell me she didnt have time to wash my hair because I was late... I usually love this place but my last visit sucked.

Shelly is as best as it can get. She knows the way I need my haircut done and remembers to do it exactly that way. She is very detailed oriented and provides options/opinion on how to better the look. Also Finleys has great atmosphere where you can have a drink while waiting for your appointment.

Ive been coming to Finleys and Shelee has been cutting my hair for about 8 months. I appreciate being able to make an appointment online and to see her availability. Before, I was taking my chances with different stylists at a chain barber shop. Its good to have the consistency of the same stylist. When you arrive, theres a lounge area in the back with a TV and free beverages (even a beer, if you wanted). I havent tried any of their other services or amenities, but Ill definitely keep coming back to Finleys.

Ive had Jose cut my hair for about 5 years now, and his greatest attribute is his attention to detail. With straight hair like mine, a fade can be a challenge, but Jose takes is time and makes sure not a single hair stands out. Theres not a style he cant do! Maybe I am old fashioned, maybe my expectations are too high, but when I make an appointment with a specific Barber and their booking system shows they are available and I get both a confirmation email and a reminder email listing the same name - especially when I make it several days ahead of time - I expect to get the person that I requested.Apparently, that is just it a request in that providing they are available, you will get them, otherwise you are just treated as a walk-in and you get whoevers chair is empty at that time.I would get it if it happened once, in fact the first time it happened, I needed a cut and it worked out well, as the Barber gave me the best haircut I had in years.But despite booking 4 days in advance, the same thing happens again - and I arrive to be handed over to another stylist - when I ask about who I booked with, I am told he is fully booked for the rest of the night and basically too bad - so sad.Now it could be that a booking is just a Request, maybe there was a mix up, quite how I dont know since again I got both a confirmation and reminder email with the same person I booked online.Maybe I got Bumped because a regular wanted my timeslot and the shop just felt I would be happy with anyone...Who knows? I certainly dont because Any attempt to escalate has brought no response. There is just a generic feedback form on their website - I did fill one out. No-one came back to me. I would email, but apparently publishing contact emails, well I guess I can compare it to getting the actual barber I booked.Clearly Corporate couldnt care less to hear what is actually going on, they must feel its all unicorns and rainbows.At the end of the day I guess I should be thankful, it gives me the chance to find someone who believes in Customer Service - that is something that is clearly in the Past at Finleys.

Great location and furnishings of this branch. Free beer/drinks while you wait. Only major complaint is the price - $35 for a haircut + $5 for the tip is a steep price that I’m not entirely sure is justifiable.

Its nice but the lady who cut my hair wasnt that good... I asked for a skin fade and thats definitely not what I got and asked for a beard line up and didnt even use a razor and still charge me $50

Wonderful experience! Jose is a great barber! Styled my beard to perfection, cut my hair to perfection and gave me a shave that was so close, I wont have to shave for two months! Wish there was a shop in Ft. Smith AR so I wouldnt have to drive for 4.5 hours!

I went in to get a quick shave between haircuts because of the high ratings this place had. Boy, was it not worth it. I paid close to $50 for a shave that I could have done better myself at home. The person that I was assigned to did not talk to me almost at all during the experience, and basically sliced open my throat on both sides. He did not apologize or anything. While the blood was coming out, he continued as if nothing was wrong, applying multiple layers of products, all of which burned...because of course it did. That was an open wound. The barber didnt even get that close of a shave. I will have to touch it up when I get home, after the cuts heal. The person was more concerned with when his lunch break was going to be, and talking with his coworkers than paying attention to the customer. I got that vibe from everyone that worked there. The cashier had an ego that filled the entire shop. As I walked to the register to pay, I looked into a mirror and said Man, in disbelief. She said, Excuse me?? In a very accusatory tone. I paid and left. At least I wore a red shirt... I will not be going back here. I will save the $50 and just shave myself I guess.

My husband got a haircut a couple of months ago.He had an appointment, waited 20 minutes and got a 10 minute haircut i guess to make up for loss time.He told her exactly what he wanted which he scissor cuts on the top and keeps it somewhat long with a fade. 10 minutes later he got the WORST BUZZ CUT EVER ! It looked like she practically used a 2 or lower ALLOVER. i know that that location is busy but not giving a client even nearly what he wants is unacceptable. Escpecially after waiting 20 minutes after having an appointment. The sad part is that the stylist was just going on and on about how she used to own her own salon and has been in the business forever. Well why are you even here then?I also had to go over the terrible buzz cut my husband didnt even want because there were still very long hairs standing all over his head. If your going to be lazy and do a buzz cut, at least make it even. We would have been better off going to Great Clips.

I came into Finleys a couple of months ago with jacked up haircut from another place. Not only did my stylist Glynda fix it, she has done a great job with my haircuts since then as I move toward the style I want. I really appreciate her feisty personality, technical skills and creative talent!

Very unprofessional, inexperienced and insensitive staff. Staff were more interested in talking with each other and answering cell phones rather than servicing clients. 2 barbers completely messed up my son’s hair and mine. Would never recommend this place to anyone! They should revisit all their staff and replace them.

Finleys Barber Shop is the only place to go for a great haircut! Glynda cuts my hair and I wouldnt have any other way. She is a true professional and amazing at what she does. She really takes the time give the best haircut for your needs. Most guys dont know what they want when they get their haircut and that can be quite dangerous, in the wrong hands but rest assured if you get Glynda you will be well taken care of! She has been cutting my hair for sometime now and I have never had anything but great things to say. I would and do recommend her to all my friends.

I have been looking for a reasonable mans hair cut for years and I found the place and barber. Jose at Finleys is simply amazing! But there are other wonderful barbers there so try them... (Joses schedule gets booked up and I dont need competition) Joking aside he has to be the best out there. I dont even have to talk... I just sit down and he does his stuff. Now on the flip side, this is a mans establishment so it would be nice if they use those 20+ TVs for sports or the market and do away with the old woman judge or talk shows... my $.02

I have been going to Finleys for over a year and have been generally happy with them. More recently, I have taken both my boys, ages 2 & 4, to Finleys for their haircuts. I made reservations online on Sunday to get haircuts for myself and my 2 year old. Upon getting there, hair stylist refused to cut my 2 year olds hair and said someone else would do it at the next available appointment 30 minutes later. Which turned out to not be true.. They made a big deal about cutting the childs hair which ruined my haircut too. I ended up leaving the place with an unfinished haircut. I dont take issue with a hair stylist not being comfortable cutting a toddlers hair but the fact that they advertise the service and take these appointments. And then dont keep those appointments. Ill never go back to Finleys and wont recommend them to anybody else either.

I absolutely love going to finleys. The experience is always great, and Jose is hands down the best barber I have ever had. Jose has been my barber for over two years. I have moved 6 hours away from southlake but still come to Dallas for business, and I wait until my trips to Dallas to get my hair cut because Jose is worth the six hour drive. He is very attentive and detailed oriented. I hope to never change barbers.

If you have a long beard or mustache DO NOT get a trim here! I wore a handlebar mustache and this dude chopped half of it off, then demolished my beard! A different barber cut my hair well so I gave 2 stars. DONT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR BEARD OR MUSTACHE!!!!!

Been to Finleys Southlake a few times and have had a good experience. Disappointed today. Paid for the Premiere haircut and a beard trim. No massage, no hair wash, which is part of thie so called haircut package. Not sure why, and admit I didnt ask. But I shouldnt have to. Good beard trim and ok haircut. End of the day not worth the $70 (plus tip) I spent today. Not sure if I will return. Next time I need to speak up. But again why should I have to?

This was the first time in my life I actually had to stop a barber before they did any more damage. I asked for a part and he took the clippers nearly to the center of my head, with me ultimately leaving with a mohawk and a big presentation at work tomorrow. I doubt my experience is the norm, otherwise they wouldnt be in business, but its a risk youll have to take.
