I brought my son in to get a cut and he got the most awesome cut, but what I appreciated more was how sweet and cordial, Ava was to me as my son got his cut! She was engaging, fun, and certainly sold the the whole experience of Cowboy Up to me ! My sons stylist and Ava will certainly have us returning soon!

It was my first time visiting the Cowboy Up and I didnt know what to expect. After a couple of years with a membership at another high-end chain I finally found a place that I can trust my beard with.Margaret was very nice and very professional, taking enough time make sure I was happy with the service.

I have been getting my haircut here for 3+ years. Love all the girls. They all do a great job. Place had a good vibe. BUT....The shop has a new owner. And... things are different. Not in a good way.He raised prices. He did away with the 2 step. Replaced it with the Maverick which costs MORE money for LESS services. How does that work!!! He took the sports off one TV and put up some lame music video thing and also changed the music.You had a GREAT thing going with the packages you offered. The prices were on the higher side but fair. Bring back the two step man. Put the sports back up.

New ownership destroyed this place. It’s now closed. So disappointing as this was my go-to place for the last few years.Hope all the wonderful stylists land on their feet. God bless.

Ive been a fan of Cowboy Up since I first discovered them in Dallas. This newer location keeps the names reputation just as high.I got a Two-Step (haircut, shampoo, massage, and hot towel - the works), my son got the Buckaroo (kids haircut). Casey listened to our request of having a longer than common hair style and she did excellent.The location was in a good area, clean and inviting. I enjoyed my beer and my son his _root_ beer. Definitely an enjoyable father and son activity.

Great staff, great products! Several options for levels of service and budget. This place is the real deal! If you are looking for a walk in cheap cut, keep looking. Call ahead for appointments! They stay booked in advance!

Ive been to several barber shops around DFW and this is by far the best. Especially for the price Ive received better customer service and haircuts than I did paying double or more at Boardroom or the Gents Place. The girls are always nice and smiling. I use Casey every time and the attention to detail and service is the best hands down. I even take my 2 year old to get his haircut here and theyre always extremely patient and do great with kids. And who doesnt love free cold beer.

Sabrina did a great job. I was amazed by the service and what I got for my money. I’ve been to several other salons in the area and cowboy up is by far the best for your money. I’m going to be going back for sure.

This use to be my go to place. Changed ownership. Went today for one of my prepaid haircuts and whoever was suppose to cut my hair didnt show up so they canceled my appointment after I drove all the way there from Irving.

Ive been coming here for years. I drive all the way from Gainesville to get my hair cut by Casey. Would recommend!!

Ive been going here for 5+ months and loved this place. Every single person that worked here was a joy to talk to. Apparently this is not appreciated however, because two minutes past their little 8 minute policy and I was turned away the day before Christmas Eve. I am spreading this far and wide on every social media platform that I can - this was a sincerely unprofessional incident. Save your $30, there are plenty of other places to spend less money.

Showed up six minutes late to the appointment and they wouldn’t cut my sons hair. Terrible customer service experience. It would have taken 10 minutes to cut his hair. Rhonda refusd to comeout from the back to cut it.

I am giving this place a 1 star bc I had nothing but problems with them. When I first called to make an appointment, I tried explaining what I wanted done so that I know what time to be there . The receptionist told me I can tell them when I get there so I made an appointment for 4 30. I get there at 4 15. Once again I try to explain to the receptionist what I wanted but she told me not to tell her, tell the stylist. I waited until 4 45 before the receptionist finally had to go get a hair stylist to come get me...at 4 30 there was 3 stylist just cleaning or standing around . I also explained that this was my first time but I couldnt print out my 50 % off coupon. She said she would take care if it. I explained to the stylist what I wanted, hair cut, beard shaping, hand and arm message, facial....she then informed me that she could not do the facial bc there was not enough time. That she would give me a two step and not charge me. Which was really great but makes me upset bc this is why I tried explaining from the beginning what I wanted so I could have enough time. So now I get cheated out of the full service that I wanted. The stylist was superb....she did everything great....and thats why I give a 1 star, or else it would be 0. After I was finished. My bill was 147.00, so I mention if that was with the 50 % discount. The receptionist said yes. I paid it but I find it hard to believe that I got a haircut, beard shaping, hand and arm message for 147.00 at 50 % off. So your telling me that it cost 294.00 to get those 3 things ? I will never go back...this location is out to scam you. Which is too bad for the stylist bc she was awsome.
