Rachel is a fabulous stylist! Love her!That said this location has the worst client waiting room chairs. They need replacement and now after Boardroom has raised their rates I trust the plan is to upgrade this very old store and provide a fully satisfactory experience.

Quality haircut with unsurpassed comfort, but its not cheap.If you can afford this, The Boardroom in Southlake is the place for your mens cut or grooming/spa services.Ive tried the Alliance location and felt it wasnt worth the price. After seeing more positive reviews of this location I have them one last try. Im glad I did. The haircut was great and despite a misunderstanding caused by the online booking process, they made every effort to accommodate my needs and I left thrilled with the results.Pros::- experts in cutting, styling, and grooming men- very professional environment. Most other mens specialty cutters try to be the Hooters of haircuts.- convenient location in the Southlake shopping plaza next to Town Hall.- comfortable setting from the free drinks (beer included), to the all wood style with pool table in the center, relaxing atmosphere, and a great selection of high quality grooming supplies.Cons:- the shopping place is always busy, so expect an issue finding a parking spot.- they are pretty busy so make sure you call ahead of you think youll need more time than they normally a lot.- its pricey, $45-$60 (before tip) for the two most popular cuts. BUT you get what you pay for. Great cars cost more. Quality clothes cost more. Superior haircuts cost more.

Showed up here 9 minutes late for my appointment and got turned away. Had a $20 tip ready for my stylist also since it was my first time in and planned on setting up a membership. Was referred here by Tom Dickson our service director however I won’t be recommending this franchise to anyone moving forward and will give my business elsewhere. Lost a customer for life.

The staff was friendly and they did a good job on the haircut. I think that the price is a little expensive for what you get. Youre basically paying a higher price for the nostalgia feel and a beer. It is normally very crowded here so I highly recommend you make an appointment, which can be done online.

I went in after not having haircut in 8 months because of covid and had no idea what I wanted. If you are the same, bring a picture because they will be nervous about messing it up. But with no real direction, Rachael did an awesome job. My wife loves it-next time I will bring a picture. I know how I like my hair, but I was doing something my wife wanted cuz we are getting married next week and I wasnt sure on what she wanted. I thought maybe they would just run with it. And there were a lot of reviews about them running late but they were right on time for me. I had a great experience.

Shannon has been cutting my hair for awhile now, only she knows what that truly means. (I used to be a once a quarter maybe haircut guy) she remembered issues with my hair and how it would lye. If I wanted it the same way as last time I would not have to something different she would always seem to nail it.I went through a period where before I landed on Shannon I was with my previous cosmetologist for a few years. This location is a great location.

Im writing this glowing review on behalf of my mother-in-law for Vanesa, who did an amazing job helping her through a difficult situation. She is a female cancer patient who lost her hair through chemo. Finding Vanesa, a female barber, who could shave her head in a very gentle, caring way was life changing. Vanesas technique, attention to detail, and concern for her comfort eased the scalp pain shes been suffering. The Boardroom has private barber rooms so having privacy while Vanesa shaved her head was a an additional bonus. She would recommend contacting Melisa at the front desk and requesting Vanesa to any cancer patient facing hair loss due to chemo. They were both very caring and sensitive to her unique situation. Shes forever grateful!

I had such a fantastic and relaxing experience this past week visiting the Boardroom. Anytime ive been in the past the service has been great, the atmosphere is always on point and I always get a great hair cut. But this visit in particular I can say that Naomi gave me a perfect trim and the best hot lather shave I have ever experienced. She was extremely attentive to my requests, fun to conversate with and ensured that I was relaxed and enjoying my time there. This place is the best of the best and staffed with extremely skilled barbers. I will definitely be back soon!

Had an appointment and about an hour before my appointment I received a call saying they needed to cancel my appointment and reschedule me for another day. This was my first experience with the Boardroom so I don’t know if it is a common practice for them to not keep the appointments they confirm.

They did a terrible job on trimming my beard. They have no clue to how to do a precision line up. They lady who did my beard did not listen to what I wanted at all.

Worked with Morgan, she did an excellent job of cutting my hair. This hair salon seems to do most of their cuts by appointment so call in advance. I showed up late to my appointment and had to wait an additional 20 minutes until someone had availability, but I knew that I would be late and wasnt bothered. Additionally, my wife loves my haircut which is a plus. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to look professional and rub elbows with some other successful clientele in the DFW/Southlake area.

I started going to the Boardroom about 6-7 months ago and have only regretted not going sooner. Teri does an incredible job!! Even though it is a bit more than I used to pay, my wife is happy that I dont complain after every haircut as I did before. Also, being able to see Teris calendar on their website is certainly convenient when Im trying to make an appointment.

I was welcomed immediately when walking in. My reservation was confirmed and I was offered a beverage while I waited. Gabriel was my barber and was very friendly and professional. He did a great job on my beard. One recommendation-brush or comb my beard next time before and after the trim.

Great spot. I went here for the first time about 2 years ago due to getting a gift card. And have been loyal ever since. Yes they charge a little bit more than the typical place. But what you receive in return more than makes up for it . Due to my varying schedule I never get the same stylist more than 2x, so Ive worked with a few of them. And they have great recommendations as far as style, as well as product to keep my beard looking good and presentable. Highly recommend.

Margaret does a really great job for me. It took me a few tries with different people until I found her, but I am very pleased I did. She has skill and consistently provides a very good cut. Probably as important is that she doesn’t feel the need to assault you with unending, mindless small talk, so the whole experience is much more enjoyable.

I go here every chance I get, which is about every 4 weeks but I wish it was weekly! Ashley is amazing, I always walk out of here with a little more swagger than I had before. If you have the time, go with a Benchmark instead of the Express. Its a few more bucks, but totally worth it. They offer free beers, coffee, and water bottles, the waiting area is very comfortable, I always go on Sunday during football season. Id hang out here all day if they would let me, which Im sure they would. Ashley rocks! So does Hawk girl!

I switched to this location a few months ago after a few bad haircuts.Nohemi has been cutting my hair every other week for the past 2-3 months. First time trip to this place on the recommendation of a coworker. Very clean, laid back establishment. Kristen at the front helped explain the services they offered and made me feel welcome. Sonya did a great job cutting my hair. She explained some mistakes my last barber made and helped repair some of the damage. My hair is pretty unmanageable normally, but she did a great job cutting it and helped explain how to style it. I also received some samples to use at home. I will differently return.

Really bad experience!!! Showed up from my appointment 3 minutes late and they automatically cancelled it. My experience here was just horrible. I even emailed the owners about the horrible service but no response. I guess they don’t really care about customers experience! Honestly I recommend going to the boardroom in Addison off Belt line. They are on a whole different level. Lot more friendly and guess what I was 10 mins late there due to horrible Addison traffic and they accommodated me no problem!

My hair cut looks great and was done correctly and not rushed. But when it came to the beard trim and mustache trim thats where things went kinda bad. The line that goes down the sideburns to my cheeks are different angles on either side of my face. My mustache on one side now has a slight up sweep before passing the corner of my mouth,which the other side does not have. Love the atmosphere of the place but this experience may have unfortunately ruined this establishment for me.

I am baffled by these solid reviews. My hair cut was sub-par. For my price, they claim 30 minutes for a great hair cut. The lady took 9 minutes and then asked how I liked it? I Yes, 9 min because I timed her. From the moment she began fumbling with her scissors in my hair i knew she was not experienced. Hair was longer on one side than the other and it was obvious she did not know what she was doing. This is the first review i have ever written and I waited a week to think about doing it or not, but I could never recommend this place.

This place is amazing! I am in my early 30s and had the same haircut since high school. My wife and I agreed it was time for a change but I wasnt sure where to go. I had always got the cheapest haircut I could find and never been to a stylist. The Boardroom changed my whole perspective on the grooming experience. Right when I walked in, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. I was greeted and offered a drink. While I waited for my appointment the staff chatted with me and made me feel as if I had been going there for years.I told the stylist, Fernanda, the kind of look I was going for and she took it from there. The result was incredible. Not only did she do a great job cutting my hair but she also gave me tips on how to style and what products to use (and not use) given my hair type. I went with the Benchmark service which was excellent and perfect for a little relaxation at the end of the day. I have had my haircut there for several months and every time get compliments. Literally, every time. I have had appointments with several different stylists and they all did a fantastic job.Fernanda is my go-to there but, honestly I cant say enough nice things about Sonya, Rikki, Kayla, and the rest of the staff. If you are looking to refresh your look or if you just want to treat yourself or someone else, this is your place. You wont regret it.

Great high end place for man to get a cold beer, sit back and enjoy an amazing haircut. If you have short hair and you are not familiar with a razor cut do yourself a service and ask for Fernanda for a cut. Ever since she gave me my first razor cut she had been the only person I let touch my hair.

Nickle and dime you. They are the most expensive in Southlake and then they tack on a $3 Covid Safety fee. Thats a new one. Way to go.

Worst customer service ! They only care for their annual fee once they get it they dont care about you or your satisfaction anymore. The management wont have time to reply to your mails or talk to you. I couldnt understand the craze for this salon, there are many better salons along the belt line. Dont get pulled in their scam, boardroom salon is next to good for nothing like place.

The Boardroom gives excellent service and you cant get treatment like this anywhere else. The service starts with the receptionist and continues with the hairstylist for the ultimate grooming experience. Make an appointment with Sonya. She is awesome!

One of the girls cut my hair with a distinct bowl look. I asked them to fix it the next day and the said it would be 20 min before they could get to it...no problem. I watched 4-5 stylist stand around for 45 min without doing a thing...even accepting new customers. I asked how much longer and was given an annoyed response. I will not be back!
