Josh and Geo expertly installed a new evaporator coil. Josh actually found and corrected a venting issue from the original installation. Everything left clean and in great working order. Again, knowledgeable,professional and friendly!Gary and Jordan quickly and efficiently diagnosed a leaking evaporator coil. Gary explained why a whole new unit was not necessary even though the unit is 9 years old. Instead, a new coil was preferable and economical given the age and setup of this dual-zone unit. Knowledgeable, professional and friendly!

They are honest and stand behind their work. I had two AC units installed by Berkeys. The downstairs unit has been great. The upstairs unit was not cooling efficiently and after some research and several attempts to solve the problem, it was deemed too small to cool the upstairs of my home. They realized that it was going to need a 5 ton instead of the 4 ton unit that had been installed initially. They admitted this and that says a lot to me as a customer. Most businesses don’t own there installs. If there is something wrong they just run to the next job because you have already paid them and their no skin in the game at that point. “Running between the raindrops”.Not Berkeys. They replaced the 4 ton unit with a 5 ton unit without charging me anything more. That is quality service and I will always use them and recommend them to my friends and family.On another note, their AC technicians are top notch. I have also dealt with A#1 Air and Reliant and there is no comparison. Berkeys techs have them beat by a mile.Thanks again Berkeys.

It was definitely more than I wanted to pay, that why you’re only getting 3 stars. John was great. Friendly, professional, informative. Knowledgeable about his job. I can say…it’s fixed. We had a leaky shower head for a couple of months from when the Fire dept opening the hydrant out in front of our house, it pushed dirt into our shower handle cartridge. John actually let me watch, quick and easy fix. Not 384.00 worth though.

A complete A/C replacement and attic air handler installed. All workers were knowledgeable and great to work with. I’m pressed that I got all new next day after service call. Even on a Sunday we can now rest knowing it was done correctly.

The licensed HVAC technician came on time. He followed all covid safety protocols and was very respectful. He shared the details of the job he proposed to do after checking the systems. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of professionalism and integrity that Berkeys and Chris presented. They will send a photo of your technician before he arrives and the whole process was simple and transparent. We had a power surge that corrupted two breakers in our home. He thoroughly investigated all possible issues and found our grounding wires were also not properly installed. He corrected all issues and was very transparent through each process. He went over and above to write a description to our insurance detailing the points of issue. Highly recommend!

Routine, scheduled service was performed today. AC system checked. Steve offered really good tips to use on a regular basis that will be helpful.Suggested an additional service that will be beneficial for our equipment, which we will schedule to get done.Downside is that Steve got two yellow jacket stings outside by condenser but he was a real trooper and dismissed it.I would request him again to come to our house when needed.Very satisfied.

I had a previous company that I have been using for years for my home and business location come out on a service contract tell me I needed some repairs due to serious issues with part of my unit. I was not happy with the scope of what they told me needed to be done as they had been coming out twice a year for over five years and should have noticed this quite a while ago before it had gotten to this stage. I chose to call 3 other companies for independent inspections and evaluations. All I told them was I wanted to have my heating and AC systems checked out completely to see if there were any issues that needed to be addressed for repairs and such. Emmanuel was very polite, prompt and completely thorough! He spent more time checking out everything and I felt he was the most honest and trustworthy of all the techs that came out, including my original company! This technician, Nick, has been amazing. He has done absolutely over the top work, and bent over backwards to work with the city of KELLER and Tri County Electric who were not very cooperative.He was so professional, kind and polite, and very patient considering all he had to deal with. Juan installed a 3 unit mini split system in 2 days and although the October gremlins were out early this year he and his helper persevered and got them running but alas there is still a problem with two units not communicating so that will be addressed tomorrow. I am very happy with the work they performed and Berkeys now has a new customer

The Berkey’s technician did an awesome job in repairing my A/C unit. He communicated everything as he went along. Very efficient and personable. I strongly recommend.

Do not use Berkeys. Called them because of yellowing hot water on two 18-month old high-end Rheem Performance Plus water heaters. Berkeys called before the appointment indicating I likely needed a hot water flush and if I sign up for $100 membership now, this will be covered annually. So I did that. When they arrived to service the units they proceeded to tell me these hot water heater are too far gone. And despite both being under a 12 year warranty (including labor for 3 years). They proceeded to tell me they can flush for $3400 (but dont recommend that as it may not work) or I can get two new water heaters from them for $6300. ...as well as recommend a $13K water filtration system. ...this is a terribly sleazy way to do business with people. I called Rheem myself and they are shipping replacement parts (at their own expense) and will cover 100% of the labor to flush the water heaters and have the parts replaced through another plumber of my choice. Do not get scammed by Berkeys! Theyre only out to sell expensive parts and services you do not need.

He was very knowledgeable with the nest system in our home. The previous owned had left his own code and set up for the temperature of the Master Suite and did not tell us the code to be able to change the temp. in the room. The young man new exactly what to do and also checked the unit outside and inside to be sure all was ok. Great job! Very nice young man.

Large residential project with multiple activities including adding new LED lights or installing fixture mounts. Also, he moved and added plugs and light switches. Tristen is a Journeyman electrician with experience in commercial and residential. Francisco was the first year apprentice.This was a 2 day process and each day they cleaned up and this was important to me. I will use them again when needed.

Mark was really good. Gave us great information so that we could make an informed decision. Priced out a furnace (which was very competitive) and full system. We decided to go elsewhere for full system due to price considerations and timing. The warranty at Berkey is best I have seen which drives price. It is a great deal for the right circumstances but did not fit ours.

Brian repaired our a/c unit. I didnt expect him till later this afternoon and he came first thing this morning. Berkeys is always so responsive and polite both on the phone when I called for help yesterday and in person when Brian came out to help us. Thankful we have Berkeys to rely on.

I would NOT recommend Berkeys to help with anything AC related. We got a new unit last year and have had to call BERKEYS back out 2-3 times since. Is that normal?This last time, we called this last Thursday (7/23/21) to report our AC was no longer working. It got up into the triple digits this last weekend and we were told the soonest they could come out was Monday. Since our AC unit is warranted under Berkeys we are at their mercy to fix this and they STILL HAVEN’T FIXED IT and it is Tuesday (8/3/21). We had to find different shelter this last weekend and pay out of our own pockets for this to ensure safety during this heat. I called to ask if there could be come compensation for this and was told by Pierre that a manager would call me back. I have yet to hear anything.*UPDATE* The AC was “fixed” on Tuesday at 5pm and it is 8/9/21 and AC is out AGAIN!!!!!

Our AC system stopped cooling on the hottest day of the year. Berkeys sent out a tech the next day. Steven arrived and cleaned out our new system and we are back up and cooling. They were the best decision we made with regard to maintainance of our major home systems. Our tech, Steven was amazing. Very prompt and helpful making sure we understood what he was doing and getting us back into a cool house quickly!

John diagnosed the root cause for water inside of an external light switch box. The outcome could have been one of 2 possible courses, 1) replace the switches (cheap) 2) Replace the entire line run and switches.He spent a fair amount of time describing in detail what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what it was the right decision for me. He chose the cheaper router, even though I was ready to accept the more expensive alternative.Friendly, polite, respectful... and KNOWS code and electricity.

I was having problems with my water heaters that were not maintained properly by the previous owner. Alex came in did a thorough inspection, laid out my options, and answered all my questions. It was very helpfull in helping me evaluate the options. Ultimately I determined that a new tankless water heater was my best option. Alex stayed at the house and evaluating the gas lines to ensure the system was ready to except a new water heater. I was very impressed with Alex’s professionalism courtesy and knowledge.

Our service was scheduled for today however we were never given a time, when I called they said they would come sometime today… at any time! Our tech finally arrived to our home at 10pm, he was professional and even though he seemed like he had a very long day he never gave up until he found the source of the issue. We are very grateful that he treated our service as if it was the first one of the day. Emmanuel you did a great job and we appreciate your hard work and dedication to your job.

On time, friendly, very informative. Hard worker! Our job was a difficult one, but he never complained. He took pictures of everything, showed them to us, and explained exactly what was going on with our air conditioning unit. We were having trouble with the electricity in the house. Things were randomly turning on and off. Berkeys had us scheduled in less than 24 hours. The electrician who showed up, Jeremy, was professional and very obviously understood older homes and how things connect. He did a thorough inspection and left us with an estimate. I had called them regarding a clogged ac line. Jacob was the second plumber to come try and fix the issue. Compared to the first plumber that worked on the line, Jacob worked far harder, tried multiple fixes, and did it all for a fraction of the first plumbers fee.This was the best interaction I have had with a plumber in almost twenty years of home ownership. 10/10. I cannot recommend the service, and specifically Jacob, highly enough.

We had an emergency happen over the weekend where our A/C didn’t want to work. Our insurance company provided a date for service that was going to be too late. We found Berkeys online and saw they did emergency services. They provided really quick scheduling and service. We were able to have someone come that same day. Steven really easily and quickly got our problem resolved (a clogged drain pipe). He saved us from waiting three more days with no cooling during high 90 degree weather. We highly recommend using their services to anyone who needs help. We immediately signed up for their membership plan that same night.

The job was tho replace all the old multi-turn shut off valves with new quarter turn ball valves. 24 valves total, including the one outside that shuts off water to the whole house. This was a major job which would have taken me a week - Brad and his crew of two did it in 5 hours, which included digging up the front yard and replumbing the main line to the house. Great job!! No fuss, very professional, used good quality parts (I had checked on that before I signed up for the job).Very pleased 😀 Thank You!!

Our first experience with Berkeys came to us courtesy of a clogged exterior pipe that resulted in the most disgusting backflow of grey water and fecal matter into our downstairs shower and bathtub. I contacted Berkeys with an emergency service request. From start to finish with the scheduling, everything worked like a charm. When Nick S. came to our house to perform the needed work, he knew exactly what needed to be done. He explained the needed work, he explained the cost for the work, and he got right to work. He wasnt with us for more than 90 minutes, but everything was completed exactly as he stated it would be. We were never wondering what what happening: he kept us informed all along the way. I give Nick S. five stars for his attention to detail and passion for excellent service, and I give Berkeys as a whole five stars for stepping up in our emergency. Well done, Nick and Berkeys!

Felt like this company should be renamed Nickle & Dime A/C Service. Under-estimating verbally and then when it gets down to putting prices in writing there is a substantial difference, not to mention the scare tactic story about how a Freon charge could last a day, but wait, for $4,000 you can have a brand new e-coil. Didnt move forward and paid my $69 fee for the tech to show up. And the membership fee...I wish I can charge my customers to do business with my company just because. What a crock. Will be calling another company to do the work instead.

We had an emergency situation after returning home from vacation where a plumbing leak caused a portion of a bedroom ceiling to rupture. After removal of the drywall, we found an electrical wire sparking just below the plumbing leak and we called Jeremy with Berkeys and he came immediately. Given that it was past midnight on Labor Day holiday, we were extremely impressed to even have gotten a response, let alone a response that was quick and very knowledgeable about the situation. Jeremy took care of the electrical portion of our issue with grace and expertise that we will never forget. I recommend Berkeys, especially if you can get Jeremy as your electrician!!!!Also, Michael the plumber name out the next day to investigate and repair the damaged pipe that had caused this damage in the first place. Lonnie came to my house and discovered the problem of the clogged drain that my washer drained into, which is under the house. He suggested Clayton should come out because that is his specialty. Lonnie had unclogged the drain enough so we could use the washer at a certain setting. Clayton arrived 2 days later and sure enough.....that was his specialty. He unclogged the drain and weve been good ever since.Both techs were friendly, professional and personable. The phone staff was also great. I cant say enough good about this company and so glad I finally found plumbers I can trust!!!

Had my main fuse in the electrical box go out, and decided to upgrade the entire box. My tech came out and did an excellent job bringing me up to compliance and getting it all fixed up. He was very knowledgeable and helped me upgrade to a whole home surge protector and home energy monitor as well. I was very happy with the work and their service. Highly recommend.

This is the second time I’ve used Berkeys and they are great as always. Booking an appointment online was super easy, and they called before heading over in the time window. Edwin came out me inspected my HVAC system - both outdoor and indoor components - tied up some loose chords, and put insulation around the pipes outside, even though that wasn’t why I had called about, so I really appreciate the thoroughness. Also measured temps and made sure everything was in shape for inspection. Would definitely recommend.
