The Grounds are Absolutely Beautiful! I took over a 100 pictures, it was so peaceful and Serene!

Beautiful place. Great food beautiful wedding had a wonderful time. Staff very helpful Im on oxygen and have a hard time walking and the lady with the cart waited in the back by the gazebo to give me a ride up to the hall. Everyone was so friendly and helpful

Before anyone thinks about booking this venue, check your other options first! I absolutely love this location. I wanted my wedding ceremony and reception to be here. My fiancé and I went to view the Apollo Ballroom a week ago, and everything went great (so I thought). I told the woman who showed the room that Id be back in a week to give my deposit. From the get go, the first time she answered the phone (after many, MANY times trying to get an answer), she had an attitude or just wasnt in the mood to do her job. Its been a week, I was supposed to go give my deposit today, but something came up. I live in Ohio so I cant just drive there and to talk to her. I called 7 times and left several messages, and no one responded. No call back, no email, nothing. Im very upset because this is the place where I wanted my wedding and now that is not going to happen because I will not do business with a rude, disrespectful person. She didnt seem to want to show us the venue, she was practically emotionless. If this is her name on the card she gave me, it is Charity Bronson (supposed manager). Now I have to find a different venue to host my wedding ceremony and reception because people clearly do not know how to be professional and run a business. Im honestly disgusted with how she handles things, especially her job! And not to mention, instead of giving us a print out of everything we agreed on, she printed out two papers with the total price on it, and then began adding things onto it, making it all extremely confusing. Id highly suggest steering away from this place unless you want to pay for bad service!

Everytime this hall has business the seniors at Meadows of Southgate have to put up with the loud noise. How annoying!

Had a funeral luncheon there today. Beautiful room, fantastic wait staff. Over and above the normal standard. Thank you, Alice and Charity. You made our day go much smoother. ❤️

A good friend of mine is getting married in a few months to the love of her life. They had booked this venue to accommodate the wedding activities in 2021, a few years back. Up until a week ago, they had fallen in love with the facility and couldnt wait until their special day. Last week their world was rocked by the inconsistent stories the facility had been relaying to the future bride and groom. After all the invitations had been mailed and deposits have been paid, the facility had told the bride and groom the date they had chosen had been given to another couple. The facilities resolution is to allow my my friends to have there services in the parking lot. We all understand that Covid-19 had and still has a huge impact of the activities we do day to day, but the facility is unwilling to accommodate the written and signed contract that their staff had signed. UNBELIEVABLE!

I just recently had my wedding here on 10.17.20. We had an outdoor wedding and it was absolutely beautiful!!! Great place for pictures out back there. They had a playground for the kids which was a HUGE plus for my family, I kids loved it! The food was amazing!! The staff was quick with all my needs and everyone elses. It was a pretty easy going process for me planning it all here. The outdoor venue in the back was just a beautiful place to have my dream wedding 😊 definitely recommend having your wedding or any big party here!!

We had our wedding here 9/25/20 & even with The difficulties with COVID we were able to have our wedding outside in their garden area & it was absolutely beautiful!! Charity did such an amazing job helping us prepare for our day leading up & the day of! Our families still can’t stop talking about how beautiful it was! The food was amazing and the service was great! Thank you so much our day was so perfect!

Attended a school function here (I had to pay to attend) and while the staff is friendly, we asked for cheese for our table to put on our salads and after serious contemplation (they had to check with the chef) they gave us the smallest cup to all share. When we asked for more we were told no. Other than that, the venue is nice and like I said staff was good.

Food was great, social distancing was practiced, had a few people that didnt know how to follow the rules when it came to going to the Buffet they chose not to wear their face coverings, the staff was great, The staff served you your food at the Buffet, We really had an enjoyable Mothers day dinner,

Due to Covid we had to change most of our plans for our wedding. We were lucky enough to still be able to have our ceremony in The Grecian Center Park. It was everything we could have dreamed of and more! The grounds were beautiful and they were extremely easy to work with. If you are looking for a laid back place to have a ceremony l, I would highly recommend The Grecian Center!!

I love this Venue. I was married there 3 yrs ago and my daughter was married there 10 days ago. BETH is the most amazing person!!! Gigi Rocks!!! Was not overly impressed with our ceremony Coordinator for my daughters wedding. But everyone else there was amazing. The chef came out to double check on stuff prior to the wedding starting and the food is superb... I definitely recommend this venue.

Beautiful LARGE banquet center with awesome staff. The chef (at one event) went out of his way to accommodate our table and did something very nice for us - which was above and beyond great service. The facility host (GiGi?) is very professional and first class all the way around. I noticed that she didt slow down the entire night, making sure the hall was clean and neat as the evening went on. The barmaid... she was excellent with kids (odd as it sounds - we were there for a family event). Shirley Temples all the way around LOL (she made the kids feel special). The priest of the associated Orthodox Church is Fr. Anthony who was here this evening to give the blessing. If you havent met him, he is super easy to talk to and a genuinely nice man. We really enjoyed our evening and the event we were attending. Looking forward to next year!

We couldnt have picked a better place for my daughters wedding last weekend! The Grecian Center exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we walked in the door a year ago to look at the park and the hall, everyone was a pleasure to deal with! Our first contact was with Beth. She was so pleasant, gave us all our options, and checked out several dates for us. She made us feel very special and was truly excited for us. Next we dealt with Mariann, the manager. She was exceptional to deal with! She was there to answer so many questions that we had and was extremely accommodation to the many special requests we had! We had many emails back and forth and was always available to us! She was even there on the day/evening of the wedding to make sure everything was perfect. She is also a great golf cart driver who make the wedding experience fun for everyone! Tiffany was our rehearsal coordinator and told us exactly what to expect. She had so much patience with us as we felt we had to rehearse it a few times to get it right. Gigi was our floor manager the night of the wedding and really took the time and care to make sure everything was set up to our specifications and that everything was perfect through the evening. She is super sweet and was exceptional to deal with! The 2 bartenders we had were awesome and our guests never had to wait very long to get their drinks refreshed. Last but not least, our hats off to the chef, Dan. He prepared such great tasting food for the evening. Our guests were very complimentary of how tasty everything was! I can not forget to mention the BEAUTIFUL GRECIAN CENTER PARK! My daughters wedding was under the pavilion in the Grecian Center Park and it could not have been more beautiful! The setting was gorgeous and everything was maintained, It was so beautiful out there! At no point did they ever make me feel like I was bothering them and they always more then welcomed us. The Grecian Center experience was truly the best!!!!

This place was gorgeous! Went here for an outdoor wedding and then proceeded to have the reception inside the hall. There was great organization from the staff. The decorations that were included were phenomenal. I loved that they offered a cocktail time for the guests in between the ceremony and the reception. Great place for outdoor pictures as well. Big thumbs up!👍

Best out door venue downriver for 100 or less right now. Plenty of space in our huge park.....

I am so happy that I chose I have my baby shower here all of the guests loved the banquet room the staff was very attentive and Chelsea is phenomenal. she makes sure that everything goes according to what you request. I plan on having my next major event there and my guest said the same thing too. Also the food was phenomenal the chef came out and greeted us, and the bartender was right on point we love the Grecian Center

Of all the places I spoke with and visited (dozens) she was the ONLY person who made me feel like a bride and treated me like more than just someone who was spending. money somewhere as most sales managers do: answered all of my million questions, concerns and phone calls. We held our wedding reception at The Grecian Center earlier this month and I am very glad we did! The staff is so friendly and easy to work with, and our dinner and late night pizzas were absolutely delicious. Everything was beautiful and so organized. I highly recommend The Grecian Center for any of your special events!

Great place for a wedding! Site has large outdoor setup including gazebo, lake with fountain, and covered area for ceremonies that can handle 150 people. Plus indoor reception area that can handle 300. Enjoyed a wedding I was at very much. Food is very good I recommend the salmon dinner.

Had my wedding reception here years ago.They have made many changes to the hall and surrounding areas. Wish the park area was there then. Its a very nice setting for pictures!

Just attended a wedding here, the wedding was in well made and designed open shelter outsite with beautiful landscaping. The reception was one of the best Ive been to with well organized meals, great food and excellent service and clean up. Very well done! Clean, open and spacious.

The place is very nice. The people are very nice at first as well until you have your wedding day.. My mother had hers there and the one lady was nothing but rude. The served the cake while we where outside taking photos. It was a 5 teer cake as well so it should of fed over 100 people and we had not about 40 people. So they took our cake. The staff that was outside smoking where rude to one of my guests, calling them Fiona from Shrek.. overall. I wouldnt recommend going there for a wedding. They rush it to the point you wish you didnt go there. Something you cant get back in memories alone. Hopefully they turn around for other peoples wedding. But I dont see it. Just a waste of money and time.

Very nice place. I noticed that the staff didnt wash their hands that often. My server, told me that she was contracted and their wasnt very many sinks in the kitchen just sanitizer. But the food was wonderful, service was great. It was beautiful for my coworkers son baptism.

Had my wedding here two weeks ago. Everything was great except for the bar service. One bartender to 160 people. She was rude to all of my guests, slow moving which caused the bar line to over flow on to to the dance floor. When asked to put someone back there they didn’t. Asked for some sort of compensation and they refused. So dissapointed.

Had our reception there in 2009. They were extremely good. We asked for a bunch of table setup (including lighting ~240 candles before we arrived) they only said, bring us a bunch of lighters and its no problem. Great venue great service!!!!

I just had my wedding here in May and I generally do not post reviews, but what was supposed to be my special day, turned into a a mess that I had to worry about and fix. I have thought long and hard about this review and all of what I need to say should be said so that anyone booking their hall should make sure before their wedding occurs this doesnt happen to them.They are now under new management Eileen has retired. Lets start off with my seating chart in a beautiful frame which kept falling over outside due to wind was scraping the cement until my mother in law had told them to put it in the lobby. The hall was not setup fully until 6pm, which is when my reception had started. Everyone that was arriving were not able to be let in to find their seat and sit down, because they open the doors at 6pm sharp. That is one thing I disliked and it takes time for people to find their seats. Next thing, I had an instruction sheet of where things were supposed to go signs and what not. One sign for favors did not go in that spot, it went where no one could see it on the dance floor in front of DJ, which then results in me taking home about 100 pairs of flip flops. They threw my boxes away for my favor stemless wine glasses so taking home what was left was difficult because they were clinking in the car. Anywho, I specifically had to ask twice for my DJ and workers to be called first for dinner in which they were not first, but I made them second in line. By the time our food got to the end of the head table, more was asked for, in which, there wasnt enough for two people. That food never came. I had to tell them to cut more cake for favors for my guests leaving because there was none on a platter for about 45 minutes until I said something. The bartender started to give attitude to my father who paid for everything because he wanted 2 beer glasses. The glasses were 6 oz glasses, so please be aware of that. The very last thing as to why this review has a 2...this is the most important of all in a wedding, a LOCKED CARD BOX. At the end of the night my husband went to the card box and asked me who opens it... I had told him to hold on and I would go get her because it is supposed to be opened together with the manager. Well long story short, the box was either never locked or the lock was broken, she came to it examined it and said that the lock was broken and she was sure no one probably took anything. Now that isnt the point, no one watches the card box because there is so much going on and people do steal. I have heard it happen plenty of times. I can say, the decorations and everything turned out nice, I have no complaint for them setting my stuff up, but the things I mentioned should have never happened and should be looked into for professionalism of a business. I just dont want this happening to another bride.

Went to a wedding here, the bar staff was horribly rude and the handicapped stall in the ladies restroom is laughable. If you have a loved one in a wheelchair dont go here.

Had a horrible experience at this venue! The bartender was rude to multiple guests, sent my 60 year old aunt back to her table for her ID,80l nypf,, and the mix drinks were completely watered down. On top of all this there was only 1 bartender for our entire party resulting in a long line that overflowed onto the dance floor, constantly out of ice and cups, and the managment was no help resolving any of our concerns. I would never recommend this place to friends or family!!!

I was here for a wedding, and it was a fancy venue, but the bathrooms were a little small relative to the capacity of the dining hall.
