I am an independent contractor who often picks up packages containing IT equipment from FedEx locations and install the equipment for different companies. This location refused to allow me to pick up the package because I do not have an employee badge from the company who sent it nor the business to whom the equipment is being installed. I am not an employee of the company nor am an employee of the business where the equipment is being installed, and thus do not have any badge. I did have my driver’s license, tracking numbers, and a letter of authorization to install the equipment at the business. They nevertheless refused to give me the packages. After ten years of picking up packages at FedEx locations, this is the only location with this made-up badge rule and is costing the company for whom I am contracted money in fines for missing their service level agreements.
The price has gone up but the service is still great!
Im not one to complain I always give a person the benefit of the doubt I drove there but didnt get my business taken care of she said she couldnt scan it but I know she could have did it manual if she wanted to instead she told me to go to another FedEx so I said thank you and lef totally disappointed SMH.
Had my front door open, the driver walked up left a sticker on the door and then left, didnt even knock. Then they gave a ton of attitude to me at the shipping office when I showed up to get my package, even with having all my documents. Also watched the attendent fight with the lady in front of me telling her a passport wasnt a valid ID even with the sign on the wall by her saying it was a valid form of ID. Very poor service.

Today was my first time shipping an item, and the young lady in the front was very pleasant. She was very willing to work with me, and answer all my questions. She pointed me in the right direction when I received the wrong information so I would like to thank her again. My mouse has been shipped with little to no worry.
The FedEx employee lie and said they tried to deliver my package. Now I have to go and pick up my package. Oh bye the way, ask the employee did they leave a door tag. No, they didnt,because, they didnt want to get out of the vehicle and get rain on. Its been raining hard all day. Theres a flood warning in my area. This is so shady and disrespectful. If you dont respect your job. Then FedEx has the right to fired you.You lied and have no regards for the FedEx reputation! Im so disappointed.
FedEx distribution depot.Central location for all delivery trucks and drivers to return all undelivered pkgs. Customers can p/u their Missed deliveries here and ship pigs. Located in Melrose Industrial Park, East side of Lahser Rd, just North of 8 Mile Rd.,Sfld.,Mi. Bldg.is located in the rear of the park, clearly marked free standing bldg.w/monument sign @ parking lot entrance.
Usually a quick in and out but the lady working the desk is not very well informed on FedExs policies. I was trying to ship a rifle and was unable to do so because she had no idea that this was allowed at FedEx...had to take it to UPS and had no issues there.
Apparently the delivery attempt was at 9:20am and I didnt hear a single knock or anything at my door. I have two dogs that would have started barking if there was a knock or any indication someone was at the door. The slip they left was blank with no information on where my package will be and where to pick it up. I had to reach out and find that myself. They couldnt be bothered to do the bare minimum of their job.
Do not waste your time, they hand packages to unknown neighbors and say that they did their job. There is no accountability and they act as if this is not a paid service. I go out my way to request companies NOT to ship via FedEx to me. In the last two years the service really went down. I do not recommend, especially this location.

Sucked, suppose to have my package 4 days ago, called they said it was at there store I went there witch was a hour drive, and guess what no package so you tell me how my visit went.
... Actually Less Than One Star... the automated operator offers NOTHING to provide for actual shipment tracking...An ELEVEN HOUR devilery window for a package that Still Doesnt Arrive... is SINFUL.Cell Phones, and GPS, (very basic tools) would allow FedEx to map and time deliveries and inform concerned customers better than having them waste their day .... for something that STILL may not even happen. PITIFUL... just pitiful...

They have no idea whats going on. FedEx driver didnt even bother attempting to deliver our package to our business location. And when we showed up to pick it up, apparently the driver wasnt back yet. This is the only FedEx location I have so many issues with. Almost as bad as the USPS.

Cindy is an absolute Saint. Being new at my job and given some conflicting messages, I messed up and had to start a large, laborious order all over again from scratch. I never received as much as a, well deserved, roll of the eyes. She never missed a beat and maintained a cheerful, professional attitude. This place should be closed because it doesnt seem like theyre into shipping... Theyre more into holding your product forever- and- a -day! I can tell that the manager or supervisor over this facility is not capable of his or her job 😏🥴
I had the wrong return label on a box, I went back home and found the correct one and the person made the exchange after finding the box before it left and canceled the amount paid and used the prepaid label.
I had to pick up a gift there, no fault of Fedex, sender gave wrong info. Service was excellent, and we are talking the evening of Dec. 23rd. The employees could not have been more helpful!
Apparently I came to this establishment (9am)when they were providing workers with packages for delivery or something, the wait time was crazy and by the conversations that were being held it appears some workers may be slightly disgruntled with another employee🤔. Keep internal conflict within team meetings not in front of customers its tacky. I was eventually able to have my package scanned in order to be shipped.
She came back with my package in a mannerly time, but FedEx as a whole need some improvement.

Im sorry but i have to pick up a package i literally waited all morning for, and apparently i wasnt home? i called multiple time to see when they would deliver and yet didnt receive a response. heres a 1 star for customer experience.
Quick and professional
Courier came to my house and left a pick up notice without knocking or checking to see if I was there. Horrible experience, took the notice to the pickup location to retrieve my package, with the slip that was left on the door, just for the to say that the pickup slip didnt matter, photo is was required. It didnt say that no where on the slip they left to pick it up, and as a result I didnt have my wallet in me.
Not good. Driver said he tried to deliver the day before. No door tag was put on the door. He didnt knock. We were home all day. It was suppose to be next day delivery. Im very unhappy with FedEx.

Driver cant be bothered to leave packages at my apartment complexs leasing office. They often claim attempted delivery even though they havent even entered the parking lot (they used to not even bother leaving a door tag). Constantly have to go to the shipping center to pick up the package myself.
Front desk lady was unpleasant. She wasnt mean or anything like that, just could tell she didnt want be there and her lack of urgency during the busy morning turned what should have been a 5 minute stop into a 15 minute stop. On top of that to enter the building I had to wear a mask but several times the lady went in the back for packages only to come out with her mask pulled down. So I ask why Im wearing a mask if shes not.

I hate that my area has to be serviced by them. Every time something is to be delivered, they NEVER deliver it. They claim to have dropped off the package, and dont even leave a door tag. I stay home from work, only to be further inconvenienced by them not taking the time to do their jobs correctly.And dont even get my started on the customer service counter. So slow. And they always have an attitude like you wanting your package is somehow ruining their day. If you dont like your job, QUIT! Someone better suited would gladly step in and take your place. SO be happy you have a check coming in you miserable people.
I arrived at this location at 5:10 pm to pick up a package. Its now 5:52pm and Im waiting for them to get my package. The lobby has about 15 -20 people waiting to be serviced. There are no attendants in the lobby. The workers are all in the back looking for packages.

Horrible. They “delivered” my package and guess what, I had a house full of ppl and they did not knock or anything. But no box was on the porch nor was a note on my door or anything letting me know where my things were on top of the fact that the customer service rep told me to check my neighbors, it is Christmas and I live in Detroit are yu kidding me? Then she stated that I had to wait 48 hours until I could submit a claim. Who the hell has $233 dollars to just throw away because FEDEX Delivery drivers do whatever the hell they want with ppls packages. I’m so annoyed

Easy and fast....
There delivery service is slower than the standard mail from USPS. For the last couple of months, I have received packages two days late. Or on some occasions, I had to take off work to pick my package from shipping center. They dont answer phones or update their delivery information on the internet.
I wish FedEx app would make it easier to choose another location closer to me for parcel pickup.
The WORST!!!!! Gives FedEx a really bad name. I never get my packages on time. The workers inside are old and slow and literally could not care less. The delivery drivers are equally old, slow and unconcerned and extremely incompetent. I never get my weekly time sensitive packages on time and they deliver my packages to completely different addresses in different cities regardless of the required signature not matching my name. I highly recommend DHL or UPS over these awful people

Lazy horrible service! Instead of delivering my package the day I paid for, the driver didnt deliver properly, delivery attempted but driver didnt even leave the note on the correct door! NOW they want me to drive a half hour away to pick up the package myself. These people need to be fired and then hire people that need work whom arent lazy and ripping people off

For some odd reason they never use our door code to access our building thats been in place for two years. This is the only shipper whos unable to do their job and this location is slow as molasses.

Horrible! I came to pick my package up, after they lied and said they attempted to deliver it. No Slip, No Proof. I get the package home to find out that they gave me someone elses package. I called customer service and was placed on hold and then without my knowledge, I was transferred to the SOUTHFIELD, MI location, the clerk who answered the phone was hella rude and when I asked for her name she slammed the phone down in my face. I am pissed, to say the least. Yes my package is still scheduled for delivery but I am stuck with someone elses package. I am mainly upset because that person well be inconvenienced as well. I picked up the package because I knew I wouldnt be home for a delivery and couldnt get someone to sit around and wait for a second delivery. I am truly upset and I will be contacting the corporation that used fed ex in the first place!!!

I previously wrote a bad review for this place, and I want to update my opinion. First, I was angry that they hadnt even tried to deliver my package, but simply left it at the Center for pick up and returned it when I didnt come in (because I was out of town). Turns out the shipper had instructed them to make the package a pick up. When I came in on July 2nd and was told the package was already on its way back to the U.K., I was very upset. I called FedEx customer service and was told sorry, youll have to contact the shipper. Meanwhile, the nice clerk at the Southfield FedEx took time to hunt down my package and actually found it! She called me 3 times the next day to let me know on July 3rd, right before the holiday. I didnt get the message until today, July 6th. But LaDonna at the Southfield center responded to my call, and again found the package, which was on the verge of being sent back. I really appreciate both of you ladies for caring enough to go the extra mile! Thank you.P.S. The main FedEx site is still a royal pain to navigate, and contacting anyone through it is a waste of time. If not for LaDonna and the other young lady who waited on me at the Southfield Fed Ex, it would have taken a month to finally get my package.
If I could rate them with no stars, I would. FedEx was kind enough to NOT notify me that my package was trying to be shipped to me. the shipment slip; which wasnt even on my door; I recieved on Friday January 16th, and said they had tried to ship it to me 3 times on the 13th, the 14th, and the 15th early in the morning when I; of course; was at work. But yet I didnt get the slip until Friday the 16th and the slip was not even on my door. I am very displeased with FedEx and would never use them for the poor customer service they have shown me. If i had received the slip on MY DOOR the first day they tried to deliver it to me, I could have picked it up myself. When I contacted them during thier business hours the next day to pick it up, they told me they had already shipped it back and there was nothing they could do for me for thier poor service... this is very inconsiderate and inconvenient for any customer... I will never recomemnd them, use them, and will be sure to inform people of my lovely experience with them.

On Christmas eve, a driver came to my complex and left a door but he shouldve brought the packages to the apartment office. So, I drove to this 8mile location and stood around from 3-5, only to be told that they Lost my package! Then told me to call an 800 number? They are unprofessional and unorganized! I would avoid them at all cost.
Did not leave a note, also lied saying attempted delivery 3 times, and said that I moved....That is CRAZY.....so now I have to go pick up my item myself. The driver needs to be fired. They obviously dont like the job.

Never received a tracking number on my receipt or from the employee. Attempted to call and find out my tracking number but only provides an 800 number (that requires a tracking number) and not a direct line to the store.
