I Cancelled service and was treated very nasty. Demanded i send all equipment back in a limited amount of time. I was told i needed to climb on my roof and take the transform off the dish. They didnt care if i am a 63 yr old grandma. Never ever recommend them to anybody. Instructed i had to put the eqiipment in a box exactly by the instructions otherwise yhey would bill me for it all. Awful customer service.

Never got service as promised, allowed them several opportunities to correct the issue, then cancelled for that reason and was billed for early termination. ON TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND ATTORNEY GENERAL!

My boyfriend had Hughes Net cable and canceled it about 7 mos. ago to change to another provider that was less expensive. Upon canceling the service in Sept 2014, he realized the reason the internet service was so expensive was that 3 years ago, they changed equipment and upgraded his home service. At that time, Hughes Net opened a brand new account for him and never canceled the old one. So for 34 mos they double billed him.After 4 calls resulting in 5 hours and 45 mins of hold time, they decided after taking $2,811.12 of our money for a closed account, that they would send a refund check of $250.00. How generous. They also promised both accounts were now closed. It is now March 2015. I just received another monthly billing statement of $229.32. The account is not closed and I spent another 1 hour and 17 mins on the line with customer service people who could not help me. They also asked for my credit card # on 3 separate occasions to credit me the $250. I would give my credit card to some teenagers hanging out at the mall before I would give it to the Thailand customer service women that have lied to me for 7 mos.I fear this account will never be closed and I will have to hire an attorney to close my internet service out. Never in 43 years have I had such an awful customer service experience.I was also told today that at the internet provider company, they dont have internet capability to send me proof that the account is closed today. Priceless.Do NOT get mixed up with this company, they are like a disease that will never go away.
