Used A Ride today for a girl wine tour for my bestie in from Florida. We started out at the wine cellar in Southern Pines and went to Triangle wine. Fantastic driver Lisa was awesome. The fare cost $10. We then went from Triangle wine to Black rock winery (a shared ride) he came from Fayetteville and his cost was $28 and was 1.7 miles to our destination. When we got to Black rock I was informed we owed $40 for the fare. My driver(Lisa again ) did the right thing and called dispatch to say this was not correct. The dispatcher then proceeded to charge me $35 totally ridiculous. Will never use them again. We definitely tipped our driver very well. Unfortunately there were no Ubers or Lyfts in the area. So disappointed.

A Ride is a great taxi service. The owner, Mr. Jimmy Hinesley is a wonderful person with a big heart. He makes sure every cab he has is mechanically sound, safe and clean. He also makes sure the tires on all his cabs are in good condition and equally balanced which makes for a smoother ride. He interviews every driver to ensure they are of high quality for driving. In addition to his regular cabs he also has handicapped equipped vans for those who are in wheelchairs. His wheelchair vans have up to date equipment and his drivers who operate them are highly trained so as to not just operate the equipment and van but to ensure the safety and confort of the passenger. His Lincoln Town Cars and Cadallics are what he has for the airport so that the passenger can ride in the utmost comfort. I recommend A ride Transportation for all your transportation needs.

Had numerous issues with this company... I tried to roll with it and ignore the many red flags.... It was a coin flip whether u got a semi professional driver or ended up with a drugged out addict... I gave it longer than soul shouldve even tho they werent the best value bc they were generally reliable as far as on time pickup.but anything before 8 am I was likely gonna end up getting up at least an hour early so I could make sure Id be on time for work after having to take a forty min plus route while multiple other pickups and drops were handled...even tho it was scheduled plenty in advance to allow them to schedule it.often had to walk several blocks looking for my cab when a driver would go to the wrong place. But this was a 6 to 7X a week.once if not twice a day n yet they consistently would not be where id called for a pickup. And after a long day of work, who wants to deal with having to chase down your cab. But worst of all,the guy that runs out it...jimmy... Is not interested in doing the right thing by his customers. He employs low caliber drivers who he treats poorly, however theres about 3 outta the bunch who are great,professional,what youd expect from a place you pay for a service, but he has people with the wrong attitude to work a the public. N then when you have an issue with the staff, hes dismissive of legitimate concerns and complaints from regular customers. Idk what the problem is, but Im shocked at the response and lack of concern about serious problems. its a dangerous situation.

Even when short staffed they dont forget their regulars, and do their best to accommodate everyone who needs a ride. Always my first choice and recommendation

Their drivers are completely unsafe on the road. Speeding up and randomly cutting people off with no blinkers.

I ended up stranded in Seagrove at a rest stop comin down from ohio and after calling 10 differnt companies this was the only one that agreed to come get us and take us ALL the way to myrtle beach. For just $375 they were lifesavers definitely recommend

With only 8hrs notice Dave picked me up at 3:30am for my 6am flight out of RDU. He was nothing but professional, courteous, and kind. The vehicle was clean and very comfortable. Hoping to not have another early business flight, but if I do I know who I’m calling. Thanks Dave!
