Return policies and return desk personnel are excellent and efficient. Gives great confidence to buying process for customers. All Lowes customer support personnel are fabulous...all are extremely knowledgeable about product locations in store (Southern Pines, NC). Saves huge time in finding and buying needed products. Bought a refrigerator a year ago. Excellent deal, and delivery and installation, which had to involve carrying this large unit over grass, etc., and then somehow through narrow/normal house door...incredible skilled and challenging job..executed perfectly.

The selection in general here has declined quite a bit, its less of a professional hardware store and more of a DIY maybe we have it now for a lot of common things. For instance they carry ONLY n95 masks and no other classes (p95, p99, etc. for instance) this is crazy cause they still sell chemicals and paint that require (or should be used while wearing) these things.

I am shocked by some of the 4 and 5 star reviews. Only gave it 1 star to leave this review. These people are not very competent that work there. Went in there today and saw much of the staff avoiding taking care of customers, sitting around and trying to look the other way knowing full well there was someone standing there needed assistance, had questions but were too lazy to acknowledge. Personally, I have never been impressed with this store due to the employees. I understand folks are going through much because of COVID-19 but does that mean that IQs suddenly drop. I am telling you, when I went in there today all I saw was the look of clueless and just not caring. Absolutely, hands down, the worst Lowes I have ever encountered.

Rarely is there an employee to help you and when you do you may be fortunate to have someone who knows the items in their department.Tonight I was encountered Rory who did not talk with me like an employee who enjoyed helping customers. He was curt and rash and quick to judge.When I asked him to leave that I didn’t want his help anymore he didn’t leave he continued to talk. He left after I told him to leave. He came back to inform me where I material was. I thanked him and told him to leave. He doesn’t leave but says I didn’t mean to get you upset. I informed him I already asked you to leave and by you not leaving is making me more upset.I made a complaint. The young woman at customer service was very nice. (She gets the star). She called the manager Ed. It didn’t end well with Ed. She apologized and showed more compassion/understanding than Ed. We need a Home Depot to give Lowe’s competition and then maybe they’ll do better training & the customer service will enhance.

I came in today to get a grill for work (we are doing a Father’s Day give away) and an associate named Wade had helped me. Wade helped me by taking the grill apart and when we realized it wasn’t going to fit in my Jeep he then offered to bring it to my place of work after he finished his shift. I was so very grateful for his kindness today and outstanding customer service skills!! I don’t know what I would have done without all of his help!! Wade deserves recognition!!

Not only do they have everything and try to help you through a diy project, they have amazing employees who actually take the time to assist you. Maria from Pro Desk for example, I always time my Lowes big purchase trips for lunchtimes so I know she is there ti assist. She is knowledgeable, helpful, respectful and makes a point to connect with all of the customers. The world needs more Maria’s!

Staff were helpful with questions but the registers were woefully understaffed. We waited quite awhile to check out. When you know there is a line with 15 customers you should send help. The cashier said she called for help. When your business is booming, in person and on-line, pay the workers minimum $15 per hour and you will have plenty of happy, helpful staff.

I ordered tile for pick up from the Lowe’s website and was given a pick up date approximately two weeks from order date.On the day of pick up, the order was not available in store, but the app and website had not changed the pick up date. I called the store to gain some clarity on the situation. The manager and staff were not helpful. After over 40 minutes on hold and 5 transfers the call terminated on Lowe’s end.I went to the store to attempt to get an answer face to face and was told that my order was a special order and they had no idea when it would be in and gave me their supplier’s phone number to call. If I have to contact the supplier myself, why should I shop through Lowe’s?Furthermore, I need to reschedule the contractors I had scheduled based on the delivery date provided by Lowe’s and have no new date to reschedule them for.I’ll be driving to the Fayetteville Home Depot from now on.

I have to visit frequently because of my job. They almost never have what I need, and I need to find workarounds to get my work done.In the process of finding things, I have to ask several times for help. Having someone called to an aisle does nothing. Most are too focused on doing anything else but pointing you somewhere.The ones who do try to help are on their item locator devices, which dont work, because they have no clue where anything is. They then search with me and determine they dont have what I need.I also need wood for a project and its way too expensive. Aisles are loaded with junk even though employees try to look like theyre busy.The tall guy working the paint section creeps me out because he always stares at me.

The store in Sanford, if they answer the phone, they dont know what theyre talking about. They dont know what products they have in the store or carry in stock. Theyve made me drive back and forth wasting my time for nothing. I could have ordered my stuff through another store closer to me had I not been told that they carry the item in stock in the Sanford store when I called. Again no nothing idiots working in Sanford store. I am so fed up with Lowes Im seriously considering dropping my Lar account and credit card. Looks like Home Depots got another customer

I had Lowes install flooring in both my bathrooms, December 2020 and they did NOT finish the install until February 2021, due to the fact they measured incorrectly the 1st time, then ordered incorrect flooring, then ordered incorrect molding, then sent damaged flooring and then had to send 3 different crews out to complete job dueto lack of experience with previous crews. After complaints and several phone calls to Lowes customer service, they promised to refund $$ after job was completed, well Only to say we are ONLY going to give you $100 refund and have a good day Please leave us a survey...well here is the survey...LOWES SUCKS!!! I would NOT recommend them for flooring or anything else when it comes to install and they NEVER have product in stock- WHERE IS HOME DEPOT...PLEASE!!

Spoke to an associate about glass mat sheathing. (They dont carry) but my review is about the associate having a dry non productive cough and NO FACE MASK. Was sent to the pro desk for additional information on the availability of getting it ordered ( they cannot order). But could not complain about the associate because the pro was also not wearing a mask. Visit was Saturday March 20th around 11:15am.

Very difficult to get people to speak you in certain departments. Overheard some associates making comments about politics which has no place in helping the public. Customer service and sales skills need a tune up in order for people not to drive to Raeford rd or Sanford for better help.

The Lowe’s located in Southern Pines, NC (Moore County) is absolutely horrible when it pertains to customer service and fulfilling online orders. One mistake, is tolerable. Two mistakes, is a little frustrating but still understandable to an extent. Three mistakes and on, are absolutely intolerable, especially when they take place on different orders and dates/occasions. I would recommend paying extra to do business elsewhere, or travel to a Lowe’s in an adjacent county. I never had issues with the one in Richmond County.

I usually go there to buy wood but you can find from decoration, gardening, home improvement tools, and a lot more. They have a 15% military discount. Usually they are short staffed on commercial busy hours, be patience if you need assistance

There are never enough employee’s in the store. Worst part is the items on the shelves are never where they’re supposed to be, particularly the smaller items like pvc components, small items in hardware, etc. If Home Depot would build a location nearby, I’d take my business there every time.

I can never find what I need at this store nor can I find help. I would say 8 out of 10 employees dont know where certain things are. I have literally had three full grown men watch me and my husband pick up eight sheets of plywood ate 2x4s and eight 2x6s and didnt even bother to ask if we needed help. I literally had one of the employee go through my pocketbook because she thought I stole something. This mind you is why we were spending $1200 at that store. My husband and I literally spend thousands of dollars at that store every week and the only reason why we go so this specific Lowes is because its the only hardware store close. If home Depot what an hours drive away I promise you wed be going there instead. There is a reason why the store is only a 3.9 star store.

This is the worse Lowes, which I used to visit. Never delivering according the schedule. They fell to deliver already fourth time during last year. All the time they give bunch of excuses. Customer service is unprofessional and helpless. They are hanging the phone down and you will be not able to rich anyone after that. You will have to go to the store to fix any issues. Do not use their delivery!!!!!!!

This store consistently the worse service. Never enough check outs open. Always seems 2 or 3 employees chatting at exit but none to open up a stand. Isles seem to always have pallets in them blocking passage. Which we had a Home Depot!

Im a regular customer at Lowes and while I have always had good service from their staff, this week I was very impressed with Paul in the appliance department. I purchased and installed a dishwasher that turned out to have a defective control board and had to return it. Paul went out of his way to assist me with replacing the unit and providing the best possible consideration in the new sale. When I left my old receipt at his counter, he ran me down as I was leaving the store, to be sure I had it. Its not often someone goes above and beyond to help someone and it was sincerely appreciated.

Ordered online for store pick up. Waited patiently for my turn in line, only to be spoken hateful to by the cashier. I work hard for my money and refuse to be treated that way. Lowes needs to take some notes on customer service from someone. Never shopping here again. A business is only as good as the customer service displayed by its employees.

This place has no respect for the customer. I place a rather large order and when it comes in I get an email telling me so. I go to curbside pickup spot and fill out all the information so they will bring it out to me. After waiting a half an hour I called customer service and they tell me theres nobody to bring out curbside pickup orders. I then go to customer service and they cant get in touch with flooring to see whats up with my order. Waiting another 30 minutes and still noone has come with my order. I wish Home Depot would open a store locally to give this Lowes competition and maybe then theyll treat their customers with a little respect. An hour waiting and still nothing, what a joke!!!!!!

I just wanted to share the great experience I have at the Lowes in Aberdeen, NC. This older gentleman was so kind to help me in the tools department. Not only climbing up a latter once but twice because I chose the wrong tool. He was nice and very helpful? The manager of this store was very helpful on many occasions also. He is very kind and nice to assist with whatever you may be looking for. Not many managers are willing to step away from there office to help a customer. Thought this was exceptional on Mr Skippers behalf.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Go to any other Lowe’s except this one in Southern Pines. Terrible customer service, the only concern the employees care about is when they get off work. If you don’t believe me, try buying an appliance and let me know how it goes. Additionally, Lowe’s has imposed a new tactic to save them money. You do not save 10% (if military) anymore on any items that are on sale. So, they mark almost everything as “on sale”. Go to Ace or Home Depot instead. Lowe’s is a failing business because it’s imploding from within. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

My husband and I love lowes... We visited the lowes today because we are working on our new home... My favorite part of the whole store is the clearance Paint... We have gotten some really good and pretty colors from there... When you check out u have to have a manager approve the transaction for price change... The manager we felt with today was very rude... Her name was Cindy... It was like she did have time for our transaction... Then after check out the cashier still over charged me so we had to go do a refund and of course had to deal with her again... She made it seem like we were stealing the paint... Like we wrote the price on the top of the can... We just really hate rude people... I work in management and she was just very unprofessional...

The sheets of Price of Plywood has Double, but the quality is bad. Start cutting out an item on a sheet and the $43.00 sheet started splitting apart. Now I have it glued and clamped together. I sure hope it works

I dont know if they are over working their staff or what, I have been giving this branch my business for over 7 years, with no complains, but for the last 3 months the staff is absolutely horrible. Three weeks ago I tried to get a employee to help me load 4 sheets of plywood, ended up loading it myself after a 20 minutes wait, when I asked the guy standing around the register to help me load it in my truck he huffed but helped and the entire time he complained about how he hated to work at Lowes. Today I stopped by to pick up some home projects supplies and the same thing, every employee that I talked to for help, looked like I had asked for their first born Son. Im very tired of the poor attitude at this store.

I ordered a Dishwasher in early December. Earliest I could get installation scheduled with their subcontractor Heaton Construction was 28 Dec. On the day of install I get a call from Heaton informing me Their technician was unable to pick up dishwasher from the Lowes as no one was able to help him I figured a Lowes subcontractor would have coordinated a pick date and time, but apparently they dont and both Heaton and Lowes personnel can not do their job, so we are cancelling our order today and going somewhere else with professionals! It is amazing that Heaton is allowed to underperform and remain a installation subcontractor. If I were Lowes management I would fire them and find a professional installer that can coordinate and not waste their customers time! It reflects badly on Lowes, a company that I do shop at and have had good exchanges with in the past!

If I could I would give them no stars at this point. My 68 year old mother purchased a brand new refrigerator on Monday and had my nephew pick it up since it was a holiday and he was off work. They got it in the house and plugged it in and it wouldnt work. She has spent hours on the phone with both Lowes and the manufacturer. The manager cant even be bothered to speak with her and they told her SHE would have to return it. How the hell is my 68 year old disabled mom supposed to load a refrigerator? Mom says the sales people have be nice but the manager is NO HELP AT ALL!!! She has lost everything she had in both the freezer and the refrigerator so on top of no help from the manager she is out of $500 worth of food. I am now on hold with corporate office to speak with them to see if they will do something about it.

I came into this store a happy customer. After dealing with one of the customer service associates who’s name was C (had a red bandana on when I came in), I left very unhappy. She was rude. Disrespectful. She kept yelling out what seemed to be lyrics to a rap song that I thought was very unprofessional. A manager was called to the desk for another customer and she just continued to do what she wanted. I would NEVER bring myself to be a manger of this store and continue to let my employee(s) act out like that. It is unprofessional and it is a very bad look for this store. I used to love going shopping here but now I am second guessing this! I tried to call and speak to a manager last night and I called for HOURS and still didn’t get an answer. So I am writing this review to let you all know to be aware of this store.

90% of the staff are friendly. There are a few people with attitudes but that comes with any business. I gave 2 stars because the bathrooms and shelves are dirty. Trash on shelves and stuff misplaced. The bathroom is the most disgusting. We moved to Cameron in March and there has been a poop smudge on the 5th toilet in the bathroom. I will attach a picture to show. I have informed staff several times and that SAME stain is there. So I dont feel listened to as a customer.
