The first time I called I asked how much it would cost to put a serpentine belt on but they had to see the car and tell me whats wrong with it before they could quote me a serpentine belt price. Second time I call the guy at least gave me a figure between 250 and 350 but it was going to be almost 2 weeks before they could even make an appointment for me. My sister went there and she said they were good but I havent really had any more first-hand experience except for the phone calls

Very good with the job needed and the extra job my car NEEDED! Even gave an estimate for a door handle repair that the car needs but that me and my wife will have to wait on. However now we know how much to save. Great service guys. Now my number one car place!

The workers behind the counter are very nice and informative. The overall service to my vehicle was done quickly during multiple visits. The workers kept testing and fixing my jeep without question until the problem (check engine light) was solved. They also worked with me (financially) to help restore parts of my jeep that needed fixing. Big shout outs to Aleks, Sean, John and the mechanics of the Southaven Christian Brother Automotive for helping me out!

What started out to be what I thought was a good experience but after 4 water pumps later not so much! Never did they once even mention a discount or anything after my son was left without his car on several days which but us in a buying due to work hours .. guys at office was super nice but my time is just as important as theirs .... Alex was very knowledgeable and reviewed all my concerns before they performed some major repairs. Sean is the best! Always gets me in and treats me fairly. Its hard for a woman to trust mechanics, as weve been taken advantage of, or at least I have in the past. CBA has earned my business and will refer friends to them anytime I can.

I have been a long time customer of Christian Brothers Auto in the Germantown location and have been very pleased with the service. I recently started going to the Southaven location over a year now for my almost 15-year old car Saturn Vue. My car is a little difficult to work with, and I know they will do what they can to find the problem and get it resolved. Its an electrical issue that has happened 6 years ago which I had a retired mechanic repair for me. Ive informed them it may be the same issue, but not sure if they have investigated it (throttle body position sensor). They repaired one of the electrical problems and according to them it was working fine, until I went to pick it up. It stopped running again. I hope this will get fixed before the end of next week.

Upon arrival a very pleasant and professional young man, Aleks, checked me in and inquired as to what I needed. I told him I was pretty sure I had an ignition coil failure but wanted a complete engine diagnosis as there seemed to be multiple issues with it. This is a 1999 Ford truck, 5.4 Triton, with 120,000 miles on it. This was on Tuesday and Aleks asked if I could leave it a couple of days so the technician could throughly diagnose its problems. I said I would like to have it back by the weekend and was told that would be no problem. On Thursday morning I was sent a list of all problems that were diagnosed and asked to call them. I called and Aleks said that since I only drive it locally, that his recommendation was to only replace the defective coil because the rest of problems were probably internal and could be very expensive, several thousand,, to repair, according to the technician. The decision was totally mine and i chose their recommendation. I told the staff thank you for treating me like they would want to be treated. Just like family. Such honesty and integrity is hard to find in auto repair. I will return again and recommend to my friends. John, the owner of CBA-Southaven, has put together an outstanding crew of guys here.

John and Alex are stand up kind of guys. When the repair for my vehicle was totaled over $3,000. Instead of hard selling the repair, I was advised I had two options and I should think it over. - 1.) Complete and pay for an expensive repair that may or may not be a permanent fix (cause other problems in the future). 2.) I was also advised to go look for another vehicle from a recommended dealer and trade in my old vehicle and purchase a new car. I ended up with a new car. Who does that kind of honest business and advise a customer to seek a solution that would mean losing several thousand dollars of business?? Christian Brothers Automotive in Southaven, Ms. does! I will be back for future repairs as they arise, without exception. P.S. I love my new car

Could not be more disappointed in the service here. My truck broke down in Southaven after it seemed to have trouble accelerating and shifting gears when trying to accelerate onto the highway from the on ramp (very clearly a transmission issue). After explaining the issue with technician- they proceeded to run diagnostics on my car. The end result was a quote of repairs that included everything but the actual problem of the vehicle. After being quoting over 4000 agreeing to a large part of those repairs, I was called after agreed upon repairs were completed to find out that I would benefit from a new transmission- another 2500 dollars. Seems to me this was very clearly the issue in the first place. I asked if the truck would be driveable/safe after stating I did not want to have transmission was replaced and was told that it was. After picking up my vehicle, I could not make it over 20 mph-worse than when I brought it to the shop. Seems to me they took advantage of my situation and quoted me on expensive repairs that did not require urgent attention and then hit me with the ACTUAL problem after non urgent repairs had been completed. After explaining my frustration, I was told that it was an unfortunate situation. They made no attempt to make right on the issue.Moral of the story- if you break down in Southaven and see this shop as an option to be towed to because its in close proximity, do yourself a favor and pay a little extra on the front end to have it towed to a repair shop elsewhere.

The harmonic balancer on my 2009 ZHZ Corvette was in need of replacement. They replaced it with an ATI balancer of my choosing. While quite the extensive job, everything was just as it should be. Will use them again when the need arises.

I bought a car cash from a private owner(I risked on buying a car cashed and knew it may have problems, so I was prepared🤷🏾‍♂️) Had a evap leak problem with my 08 chev Malibu and a misfire, they found the problem and took care of the issue. They are detailed on fixing your car, they will call you to inform the status of your vehicle(of course they gotta keep the car so they can do they thing, so have a back up plan to get around). Gateway tires fixed the minor issues and dealership couldn’t work on the vehicle due to the car being a 08. I’m glad I came here to let them to take care of the car. I didn’t want to put off any maintenance problems. 5* from me. 👍

The folks at CB Automotive are very friendly and very knowledgeable about my vehicle and offered good advice.

They sell your information and they have random business text you mortgage loans and car insurance companies. They also start texting your phone out consent of permission. They also up charge everything I went in for a actuator replacement they wanted 3173.78 dollars cost me 50 bucks to do it myself.

Approved 2 jobs to be done and my check engine light is back on 2 days later.... I need something to be done about this immediately.

I dont have anything negative to say about these guys. Every single time I go to this location, they are extremely sociable. Very down-to-earth and have extremely good customer service. Some may say their fees are a little pricey. But I truly believe that you get what you pay for. Im glad I found a mechanic that is honest and gives a fair price. Also they have great warranty with their work. Rob is the mechanic I always use at CB and he always does a great job.

Super nice people in the front office, I took my wifes vehicle in for some electrical work. They were very professional, they fixed all of the issues, did a thorough inspection and let us know of some other issues that we will deal with at a later date. They kept us informed, did what they said they would do when they said they would it, all at a reasonable price, what more could you ask. They have earned all my future business.

Buyer beware.After receiving a quote for AC repair over the phone. They inturn started work and then informed us it would be an additional $250 with no additional work. When told we had a firm quote they basically called me a liar. We were given option to pick up in current condition after assembly and pay for what had been done or have it towed. They did graciously drop price $50. When I went to shop and gave them the name of the manager that quoted price. He essentially called me a liar and stated all calls are recorded. They would review and contact me. My wife reviewed them on Yelp and they contacted her wanting information with the same claims. That was 2 weeks ago. Of course when dealing with shady businesses they don’t follow up. The work was done and done well obviously the managers get bonuses for getting business in and then taking advantage of customers.

I haven’t taken my vehicles to a mechanic in over a dozen years. I ALWAYS do my own work and save myself the money. But..... After a front brake change on my truck there was a nasty grinding noise. After checking my work half a dozen times I couldn’t figure it out, so I threw in the towel and took it to Christian Brothers. Never have I been so impressed with a mechanic, they’ve not only earned my business, but more notably my trust.If there was a 10 star review ability they’d have earned every one of em. Well done gentleman.

I finally had to replace the clutch on my high mileage 2012 Golf R, and Christian Brothers in Southaven did a first-rate job. Quick turnaround, excellent customer service, and high quality parts with warranty. Hopefully, therell be no more major repairs needed, but Ill be definitely going back to Christian Brothers for regularly scheduled maintenance.

I paid 253 for a computer diagnostic check for them to tell me a battery was bad that was new that it required a H7AGM when its been using a H7 since production ok bought it 200 took them the Battery they installed it then tell me its the alternator ok took it back tested good so I still request a new and test it aswell so I call tell them that it checked out but my battery light still on could they please do a proper diagnosis yes they can but Ill have to pay another 115 for a diagnostic why when you didnt diagnose anything to begin with just a bunch of false information they cost me $253so unless you have money to throw away dont go to Christian Brothers automotive

Called and talked to Sean, he had my Hummer H2 ready the next day after our transmission cable broke. I had talked to another repair shop that gave me a 2 week wait before they could look at it. I will be going back to Sean if I ever have any issues with my vehicle, he is the best !!!!

I brought my 6-speed Corvette there with a second gear synchronization problem. I told them I ONLY wanted second gear working and NOTHING else. I was given a we dont want to work on your car quote of $7,500 including new mounts, etc. So I paid them $95, got my car back, and did all the work myself. I brought the transmission elsewhere for a level 2 rebuild - all for $1,900.

This place was awesome!!! We had an issue with our oil cap. They fixied it and got us in and out in under 30 min. So we could get out our way to our vacation!! Highly recommend would use if we lived in this area for sure !!!!!! Super nice great service.

Really great experience (even though having car trouble is never good) and these guys made it as painless as possible! I had BOTH of my cars break down in a week and half and I feel that I was treated very well and got great work at a very fair price! As a female, dealing with vehicle repairs is terrible because they can see you coming from a mile away but Johnny and the team made me feel very comfortable and informed.Im a customer for life and I wont be taking either of my vehicles anywhere else.

I hate I wasnt able to have the same great experience as most of the customers. My car was there for two working days, from Friday to Monday. I called late Friday because I didnt hear from them. I was told I would get a phone call right back, that never happened. I went up there Monday around lunch, my car was in the same place that I parked it from Friday. I was told Id get a call by 3, that never happened. I finally just got my key and went somewhere else. This place is definitely for someone with more than one vehicle at home, which I dont have. One phone call wouldve made me happy.

Was towed here by AAA after I had lug bolts snapping off of a wheel. They looked at it and told me that I had other problems: my tie rods were bad, a wheel bearing needed replacing, and there was rust everywhere. They then refused to fix those additional problems, saying that it was basically a rust bucket and wouldnt be worth it to me. So instead of charging me over $1000 for repairs that werent in my best interest, they fixed the most immediate problem for $177 and told me to get a new car. They also gave me a 15% AAA discount when I was only supposed to get 10%. We made it home safely and bought another car within a week.Where else will you find an auto shop that gives you the hard truth and refuses to cheat you? And thanks to them, I bought a much more reliable car.If I lived closer, I would never go to another shop. These guys are worth giving money to.

I dropped in at Christian Brothers today to get a replacement radiator hose. It was discovered by the technician at the quick service facility I frequent for oil changes over my lunch break. I was in an area I am not incredibly familiar with but I remembered my sister always recommends Christian Brothers. Although I didnt have an appointment and the lot was full, the friendly and efficient staff at this location fit my small repair into their busy schedule. If I had not been able to get this done at their location today, I ran the risk of being inconvenienced professionally and personally. I also also ran the risk of my car overheating in the sweltering Memphis area summer heat. I cant thank this team enough for the excellent service. I will definitely be back.

I would like to sing the praises of the Christian Brothers in Southaven. Mike and his staff are wonderful...They know what they are doing and are very upfront and honest about it. Everyone is happy to see you when you come in and very friendly and helpful. Just yesterday I got a thank you call from them. Christian radio plays in the lobby which is encouraging to me as I wait and they are so good to provide shuttle service while service is taking place.
