People that dont understand how the post office works usually leave neg reviews. Huge Post Office, friendly staff. Weve had really good experiences here. Yes lines could get long but that happens in many places. We drop off most main nothing has ever gotten lost and we use the self service kiosk as well. If you need a POBOX its a breeze and they have huge ones too.
Why make things easy if you can complicate them?!? This is maybe the only USPS agency that doesnt allow you to use their tape to close packages, dont help you to attach the label on your package, dont have all the Priority boxes available......Store is quite crowded, big waiting lines and the employees working in the back dont come to help in the front of the store.Net net, suggest you go to a different agency if you want to receive a minimum service level everyone expects in 2021. No wonder private postal services are growing so strong.
I went to Post office located 33143 in South Miami on Sunday Sept 26th and mailed on mailbox outside Post office an envelope to a friend that lives in Miami Shores proper stamp, right address and return address Today it’s October 6th and I’m very upset and frustrated as envelope has not reach my friend in Miami Shores yetIt was very important piece of mail I can not believe that I can’t trust Government Post office any more it’s not acceptable
Passport appointment here was the easiest legal process I’ve ever done. Fast service and the USPCS lady employee was beyond helpful and nice. Highly recommend this location for this process.
A bit crowded, postal lady was screaming someones address to pick up the mail on hold from the back lol kid waiting was embarrassed.Ray showed up and got the line moving. Hes relaxed and cool !
Very bad experience at this post office! I sent out a very expensive communion dress and they lost it! Over a month later I still have not received our dress back and money has gone down the drain. The worst part is that the ladies and manager at the store were very rude to me, calling me a fool and disrespecting me/raising their voices. Would not recommend shipping out your packages from here because shipping time takes way longer and they dont even know what they are doing. So disappointed.

This and all USPS have lost their care for the clients and or customers. They lost a package, they don’t have an answer and won’t give me a reason or at least try to serve me( the customer) on what can I do. I have been sent to a corner supposedly for somebody to attend me and guess what. Nobody came. The lady that sent me to the corner simply went to have lunch... this is unacceptable.30 mins after waiting the manager came and told me the package was somewhere in the holding area and would be delivered the next day. Needless to say I told him that lady was extremely rude( they won’t do anything about it anyways) USPS is a disgrace
This 5 star rating is specifically for Ray . You made my day! I got there 15 min before closing. After Ray explained what I had to do for a international shipping, he attended a commercial customer with about 40 small packages calmly even looking at the clock. After I finished filling up my forms, I approached the other officer Wanda, who literally denied service to me international shipping,at this time? I wont do it.Ray offered her to help me out, scanning the small packages; stopped what he was doing to let customers out, closed Wanda out and still walked me out with a good night! Thank you for being an example of teamwork, customer service and patience!
Horrible service. Zero empathy. Lines out the door. 5 out of 5 overnight envelopes never made it overnight. UPS and FedEx are the future, the USPS is on borrowed time. I included a picture of dozens of people in line in the middle of the day with one worker. Pretty pathetic...
Horrible. Employees dont treat client properly. Yesterday a employee was very disrespectful whrmen a client asked for a piece of tape and for another employee on specific. The lady said she doesnt care and that is not her problem followed by the other employee that was next to her that started laughing. The client was polite, but didnt worked. She was treated bad in front of other clients that were in line that knew she was right and the employee was just being rude at her. Thanks God i always deal with Wanda, whos always nice and respecful. I hope manager will say something to their employees if he cares for his job

Highly disappointed, My sister in law paid $50 to have a package sent to me priority 2 day shipping and I still havent received it its already been over a week. Super frustrating and unprofessional. When you call in to speak to someone no one can give information other than they are short staffed.

If you are able to use prepaid shipping labels, do that. They are understaffed and the wait is ridiculous.
I had an appoint to for passport on November 9. I was told “come back, everybody called sick today”. I came back a week later with appointment and they make you wait. No respect for time . Terrible.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this particular location. All the cashiers have an attitude problem and will use ghetto slang to talk to you.Last I checked, federal paid workers have to be professional.We have an issue with packages going missing while out for delivery, so I went in to have the hold my 200 dollar package so I could pick it up myself.Supervisor assured me theyd hold it and to pick it up tomorrow.I come in the next day and an entirely new supervisor said its out for delivery. They didnt scan the package when delivered and guess what:It never arrived.They are severely incompetent and lazy here.

The wait was long but patience is a virtue, so just put it on speaker and multi-task. The gentlemen was helpful and waited as I input my tracking to tell him what was the status on them. He was willing to search the facility as well to find the packages as well. Long wait but helpful.

Fri 12-15-17 @ approx.11:30 am I went to this location to mail my moms Christmas card,when my turn came a young lady took my letter,quoted me 2 prices with a not so friendly attitude to begin with. As I handed her a 20$ bill,she sort of shoved it back at me on the counter stating in a very SNAPPY RUDE demeanor I dont have change for that,I just opened up. Surprised by such a rude approach I stated as I was digging for smaller bills oh well that is not my fault I am sure I was NOT rude to her. She snapped at me again in the same way stating I didnt say it was your fault,so you do have change at that point I did tell her that she was being very rude and that I have NEVER been treated this way at my Post Office. We have been coming there for 27 years and NEVER had Anyone treated me this rude !! I could not believe this ! I went outside but decided to go back in and look at her name tag Carrie was her name YES CARRIE ! I asked to speak to a supervisor,stood there for a while,was totally ignored.I did tell her as I left that since she would not let me speak to a supervisor,she would be famous today as I was going to post my very unpleasant interaction with her on line. The next customer received very friendly service from her as I was waiting ...hoping to speak to the Branch Manager,I guess she did feel the need to act normal since a few customers in line saw the whole thing. She continued to ignore me,so did her co-worker. I will NEVER have her touch my mail again...EVER !! Hope her Boss reads this. Try to call them,that is yet ANOTHER JOKE NO ONE answers !! Must say, as a person who hates going to the post office, so far this is the most courteous staff, responsible and reliable post office I have experienced all over Miami. Im so grateful they have a machine which I use most of the time and they have even called to notify me of an urgent package before opening hours for pickup. So far, I couldnt be happier.
I had my item box with a shipping label but just needed a few inches of packing tape. They told me that they would not give me any packing tape and I had to buy some. There was no empathy or apology, just rudeness. Needless to say I went down the street to the UPS where they were friendly, helpful, and more than willing to not only give me the few inches of tape but to do it for me and give me a receipt for dropping the package off. We both shook our heads at the common sense lacking at the post office.

They will never answer their phone. I have attempted at least 10 times off and on because of lost or not delivered mail. With no answer I have to drive over to the post office and stand in a long line. When I get to a representative they can never find my mail. Recently a very important document did not show up well past the day it should have (I knew because the University told me when and where they sent it too). I went to see if it had been delivered and they wanted to know a tracking number which the University would not have.They searched in the back for 10 minutes or so and simply said Sorry, we dont have it. I had to start from scratch send another 10 dollars to the University and have them send it again. To date no delivery.terrible
One pleasant, helpful employee with a ponytail handling passports. Others were rude, unhelpful and seemed angry even though I treated them with courtesy and patience. I do not find this behavior from employees at Sunniland or Coral Gables. Maybe time for a new manager or some customer service training?
The African American lady at the front was loud and had obnoxious responses and facial expressions when asked for help. Other locations kindly assist you in taping your package but she insisted she couldn’t and told me I’d have to purchase one instead. Never coming back here, and don’t recommend!
I come by once every 3 months and have never had a problem with them. Sometimes the wait times are pretty long, but the staff has always been helpful
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THEY NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE! EVER! I dont live in the area and had a question about a package that was never delivered to someone and I havent received the package back. Needed to find out where my package is and nobody answers the phone! Ive tried constantly to get a hold of someone. I have to refund my customer their money and have lost the value of the contents of the lost package. Horrible way to run a post office. I would give it 0 stars if I could!!!! Stay away from this place!!!

Telephone calls will ring until they disconnect. Mail carriers will randomly stop delivering mail. Lines are not too long but employees are slow. Avoid if possible.
The staff is always friendly and helpful at this location.
Every time I came here I come back decided not come back anymore. First time for passport scheduling, and the other to send a big box. There is a standard patern here, they just dont care about your business. Those employees just should go out, and leave their jobs for who wants to do the good work.

I really dread coming to this post office. I feel like people think they are entitled to have a job, regardless if they actually do the job. I feel like I am inconveniencing them while they are at work. So ridiculous.

Dreadful, and it gets worse every day. The rude female staff, which has an unbelievable attitude problem, cant be bothered to help you. I would give them zero star if I could. Since I posted this, the female staff (the few men who work there are polite, professional and helpful) is worse than ever: ruder and even more unhelpful and unpleasant. Really nasty: the sarcastic way they treat the Hispanic customers who cant express themselves properly in English is shameful and degrading and the manager should do something about it.
I loathe going to this location. Id much rather go straight to Publix (Where Shopping is a Pleasure) to get my stamps rather than deal with the personnel there. The representative named CARRIE is one of THE rudest and unprofessional beings Ive ever had the misfortune to meet. Refuses to provide customers with service, yells at them, and is is straight up unprofessional and not in the least bit helpful. I have left this location angry, and without meeting my mailing needs, on numerous occasions thanks to her rudeness. USPS needs to consider providing their reps with adequate Customer Service Trainings, and ensure to check on their progress from time to time, before putting them in front of a customer. In my life have I ever dealt with such a bitter and nasty person at a place of service. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location.

This place should be closed down, lost my package worth$30 inside. They wouldnt scan your package they WILL lose it and claim they never got it. I believe they open your packages and if they like what they see they wouldnt scan it at processing and claim they never seen it. Big black Lady was rude and rised her voice at me as if I was her child. I asked why are you raising your voice and so she started yelling so loud that the manager had to come out. At least he was nice and listen to what I had to say. I was told I had to REQUEST a Receipt that I drop off my package. I asked why if its already paid for so why wait in a long line?! And that at my local post office I have always drop off my packages (10years)and all have been scan and delivered at my local post office(without a drop off receipt), NOT this location of course, and all have made their destination.**** All and all if you want your package lost or stolen whatever DONT leave your boxes with these people. They need to start pointing their camera at their employees instead of the customers. READ their reviews Im NOT the only one this has happened to. I called and got hung up on twice. I finally got someone and he told me they had it and to come pick it up. I get here and i wait 30 minutes for them to tell me it got sent back. One lady went to check herself and it was put aside from all the other deliveries. Horrible service. Most of them are rude and look like they do not want to work. This might be the slowest post office in America. And one employee kept telling a lady with a 3 lb Yorkie, that she had to leave. The dog was in the ladie’s purse. Yeah, she wants play policy nazi while the line is a half hour long. Geez! Common sense not be a requirement for working here.
I went yesterday to the USPS in South Miami. All the employees are blacks. I found a black middle age employee wearing a look-alike Prince Valiant wig and false eyelashes laughing boisterously. There were no other customers. I walked up to this boisterous employee and she looked at me as if telling me with her eyes “how dare you interrupt us.” She yelled at me for putting away my stamped proof of mailing without paying her first and snatched it from my hand. After I paid, she pretended she was going to give it in my hand and when I stretched my hand to receive it, she intentionally let it drop. I told her she was unpleasant, rude and unprofessional. What a barbaric behavior!!! There’s management but as if there was none, the Black employees run the place and customers can expect to receive poor, rude and unprofessional treatment.

Lines can get very long. Sometimes they only have 1 or 2 people working at a time with a huge line. Make sure you are prepared to wait a bit and knownwhat you need to get done.

Horrible experience with War**n . I asked her to mark my packages fragile, after answering the questions from the monitor. It is part of the requirements to ensure that your package arrives undamaged.This is where the fun began, she kept taking other customers stating she didnt have a stamp to mark fragile. I had already waited in line for 30 minutes. She said I am helping other customers, I reminded her I am a customer waiting for you to finish my packages. She then told me that I have a bad attitude, and I come in here causing problems every time. I remember having to come in when my mail was lost about 8 months ago, because noone answered the phone, they never found my mail which included bank checks forcing me to have to close my account.This War**n is bad news. At first she refused to tell me her name offering to write it down, but forgot, causing me to have to ask several more times.She insulted and bullied me making me wait longer taking other customers and lied to protect her own behavior. She started using ghetto street talk like funna this and that. She was thoroughly enjoying herself. She was trying to instigate a confrontation to prove her allegations and lies.Another worker was kind enough to FINALLY stamp my packages fragile. I was able to report her behavior to her supervisor on my way out. He stated theyre priority was customer service. Most have been nice and efficient. But this person was not. This person is a Federal worker and paid to do her job, not there to antagonize customers and do me a favor.
Went to this office to apply for a new passport. They took my pictures and sent it with a rush order ($100 extra) to have it within 1-2 weeks. Two weeks later I receive a letter stating that the pictures, taken by the post office, had bad lighting. I came back to the post office and they refused to give me a refund for the expedition fee. Instead they sent me to the passport office where I learned afterwards that I needed to resubmit everything because the post pffice failed to send other documentation. Unbelievably incompetent.
I think the delivery people here may be mentally challenged, or downright lazy. They claim undeliverable for addresses that are clear and obviously easy to find.

Their deliver service sucks! I live a block away and whenever I have an order to ve delivered at a certain day, they dont bother walking a few feet from the mail box to my house and instead they leave a not saying were sorry we missed you and in the delivery tracking they put that they attempted delivery. complete liars because I stay in the living room all day waiting for my packages when they are suppose to be delivered on a specific day!
This place is horrible!!! I have been trying to call for 2 days and no one will answer the phone. I have been waiting for a package to be delivered for 3 days!!! Today is Monday and they havent even delivered the mail which is usually delivered at 9-10am, it is now 3:30!!! Everyday I have a new mail carrier thats even worse than the last!!! This is completely unacceptable!!!

There were 2 tellers, the first teller who attended me obviously did not speak Spanish and I did not speak English, but her way of telling me the document I had to choose was unprofessional, I had to tell the other teller to help me see what it was. I needed, in the end when she left I preferred to wait for the young man I did not want her to attend me, she was not rude but she was not attentive either, thank you
