Exceptional and trustworthy mechanics! I was ready to junk my 11 year old car. It only has 110k miles, but was driving very poorly and often would throw a check engine light and the engine sounded like it was about to die. The experts at Mazurs told me that no, its not the end of life for my car, they shoot for getting 200k-300k miles on a car. Within a single day they went through all the things that were wrong with my car and how to resolve them. I was expecting the work to take 1-2 weeks. They were finished by the end of the day!! My car now feels like a brand new car. Ill never take my cars anywhere else now!

Stopped into the shop without an appointment due to a sticking/frozen brake caliper and brake pad that was smoking. They were able to check, diagnose, and release the parking brake so the car could be used to get to work. I dropped off the car the next week to have them make the repair, which they performed on-time above expectations. Very professional shop and service, and updates on repair and status were quick (received notification as soon as work was complete). I would highly recommend this shop, and will trust them with our future vehicle needs.

I worked with Joe to get a timing issue resolved on my Chevy. His willingness to help and answer any and all questions I had was wonderful. Dealing with a car breaking down and trying to figure out how you’re going to pay for repairs is most definitely a stressful situation to deal with. Especially right now when money is tighter than usual. Joe made the entire process as painless as possible. 10/10 would recommend for any and all car issues.

I took my wife’s car in for yearly maintenance.Turns out, they found other local mechanic’s unfixed surprises. These surprises were to be repaired last year. During the maintenance check, I was updated on the repairs and the cost of them. I was giving “no guesstimates”. Straight, forward answers. They offered a loaner to get home or to work. Very outstanding place! I’ll be sure to store their number in my phone for here on in!!!

This was my second time at Mazur’s South Lyon for general maintenance on my vehicle. The staff I encountered was friendly and professional. I got an appointment right away, the price seemed reasonable and work was done in a very reasonable time (while I waited in their comfortable lounge). So far, I have complete confidence that they will assist me in making this my last vehicle.

I had a great experience. They send pictures and videos so you can see/hear the problems they they are fixing. I have high confidence in their team, and my car was in and out quicker than expected. Ill definitely be going back.

Called at 12pm Friday 11-20-2020they told me bring it in asap and itll be ready by the end of the day! Very satisfied with my experience here at Mazurs in South Lyon. They seemed to have plenty of work to do and still fit me in and gave me a fair price for the work.Didnt try to sell extra services or anything that wasnt needed. Dropped my 2007 Equinox off on Tuesday around 12 pm it was ready by 12 noon Thursday!!! I had to have my whole front suspension replaced, 2 tires and engine work done! Fantastic guys, they did an awesome job and fast for everything they had to do! My car hasn’t driven this well since I bought it 4 years ago!!!!

The used car inspection we had done on a car we were interested in found a repair done that was not reported to carfax. Staff we encountered were all professional and thorough in their diagnostics.

This is a 5 star place got me in had a loaner car and had my car ready the Day. Not only do they have a 5 star lobby and facility they have refreshments too thank you for being a part of South Lyon.

Bald guy was insulting my intelligence telling me my truck frame was rusting through when it never was and what he saw was a broken bed mount. They charged waaaày too much to do a simple radiator swap (800) which is insane!! And said my truck needed a special heavy duty radiator when that is not true. The mechanic is afraid to get dirty wrapping things in plastic lolololol greedy overpriced people who scam people into paying for unnecessary things. Bts I took my truck to a better place and charged only 300 to do the radiator work.

Scheduling was simple and user friendly. Did a drop off the night before and indicated on my paperwork that I had a scheduled appointment for the next morning. By the afternoon I hadnt heard anything & called to check on my vehicles status. I got the impression my vehicle hadnt been serviced yet when the staff put me on hold and then responded that it would be ready in the next hour. Upon entering to pickup and pay, the staff person was unmasked. Paperwork of services completed was not reviewed, which can be helpful for customers. In the days after the appointment I spoke with Ken, their District Mgr. Ken listened/acknowledged the lack of communication and encouraged me to give them another try, expressing that they are known for their excellent service. Supporting local and giving places a 2nd try is important2nd Visit: I love how easy it was to schedule an appointment by phone. They now have a text messaging feature that reminds you of your upcoming appointment and provides updates as your car is assigned to a technician and when your car is ready. Services were completed quickly. Areas for improvement: 1. Paperwork does not clearly explain or provide a health check up of your vehicle after services are completed. 2. In my 2 visits in the past 6 months Ive interacted with 3 employees, none of which wore face masks or facial coverings of any kind while inside the building. Care about your customers the way you care about their cars, please wear a face covering. Overall, a much better experience and I will be going back.

I scheduled an appt for an oil change: timely and my oil change was 49.00. Found a maintenance issue and I requested that they take care of it later this week. Waiting room is sharp, had a TV and coffee. Obviously, I am returning.

Apparently not competitive. This place wanted to charge close to $600 for front brakes (new rotors and pads). Sorry but parts are around $150 so a fair price would be around $300 to $350. This shop also charged $45 for an inspection fee and did not even supply a complete inspection report!

The service, the people, and the tires and alignment were all great. The car drives so much smoother. I will be back for future repairs. It’s nice to have them in South Lyon now. Update as of Nov. 4th 2020. We had another one of our vehicles serviced for new tires and alignment and everything was great again. Frank took care of everything from start to finish. Great communication, great recommendations, and great service. Our van drives so much better now. Update March 5th 2021: Easy in and easy out for a tire issue and headlight issue. Great communication and very convenient.

These are awesome mechanics! They gave my car exactly the service it needed, no extra fuss or ‘preventive’ maintenance. I only needed an oil change and tire rotation, and they got it done in just a couple hours for an amazing price.

This shop is very expensive. I recommend going to your dealership or any other shop in town for a cheaper price. Receipt of performed work was not transparent. No breakdown of parts and labor for each job performed. No part numbers or their prices. Just the total. If you do so happen to take your car here just look at your receipt and see for your self.

I dont post reviews very often unless I feel its necessary. I have had too many bad experiences with the auto repair shops in town and have found going to my dealer is always my top choice. Im so glad to have a new, honest, family owned business to go to! They were fast, the building looks great on the inside and out, very friendly guys, and they didnt try to get me to get anything done that was unnecessary. Which nearly all the places in south lyon I have been to have tried! They let me know when the next maintence work should be done, Ontop of the grand opening special for my oil change and my new puppy was allowed inside to wait with me. I couldnt ask for more. Thank you and keep up the good work guys, you will do great in our little town!
