We live in a tree heavy area near Alpine Meadows, and we have been looking for an arborist who has a first priority of preserving as many trees as possible. So many folks these days are eager to cut down trees, but we found that Billy is very much a student of tree health and science. He came out and spent an hour with me going through each tree on our property and talking through its current health, and what we might be able to do to help it over the years. As an example, we have two fir trees very close to a extremely old Jeffrey pine -- all of our neighbors and other tree folks who have seen the situation have told us that the firs must come out to preserve the health of the larger Jeffrey pine. However Billy took a look and explained that those trees pose no risk to the Geoffrey pine and we should keep them if we want to keep more trees. We will be hiring Billy and his team to do a full landscaping plan for us come the spring time! Its such a joy to speak with someone who has a true interest and passion in their field.

Bill was highly professional in examining the trees on my property while assisting me with a stump removal in a tricky spot. He has exceptional knowledge of local trees, plants, insects, and other wildlife. He was also able to spot disease and other issues with some of our trees and had the remedies to resolve them without having to lose the tree. He will also do tree removal, but I appreciate that he works to save the tree before resorting to tree removal! Great experience, highly recommended.
