This bank is the only bank that’s given me a chance. They were super friendly in the bank and on the phone as well. They have definitely earned my business and Britney jacquez was definitely more help than my own financial institution. So if your in a bad spot definitely give these guys a try! If there was a 10 star rating I’d give them that

Ive been a member of the credit union for a very long time. The services has been great. The credit union has expanded and opened up more locations across the valley. Being shared branches Im also able to complete transactions at other shared branches network and the online platform is awesome too!

This is the second vehicle that we have financed through Utah first, and they have been a great institution to work with both times. I love the way I am treated both at the branch and with the online chat team. I also love using their app on my phone which is updated immediately after every transaction. I wanted to set up a business checking account for my non-profit and they scanned my documents and drivers license and said that theyd give me a phone call the next day, and its been about two weeks and nothing has happened. What got me to use this bank was the 1.99% interest I got on my auto, and have had a way above average experience with these guys. I always find the staff at Utah First CU friendly and courteous. I find their interest rates on loans are very competitive and they always give me a good reason to earn my business. I have been a member for a few years and always find my visits pleasant. When I need to go inside the branch to conduct my business the staff always greets me me with a smile and quickly direct me to the appropriate place I need to be. The lobby always looks clean and inviting, the large windows allow in plenty of natural light. The drive through is easy to manage and It rarely takes more than a few minutes to complete my business... I would recommend.

We have banked with Utah first for years, we have done several loans with them. We went in the other day to try to open a business account. They have done nothing but give us a run around. No one seems to know what they are doing. I’ve called other banks and they informed me that Utah first is exceptionally difficult, or the people working on our case don’t know what they are doing. They wasted so much of our time. We will be moving credit unions to one that has respect for peoples time, and I’m confident the people handling our money know what they are doing

Not just that, but they actively helped me build my credit and suggested clever ways to stay on track and improve my score. I never thought I’d be able to get a credit card, much less an auto loan. Wow, all around wonderful experience. Just completed opening an account for a new business and a HELOC. After multiple failed attempts to take our business to the highly recommend Mountain America we tuned to them on a whim and it’s been a night and day difference. Mountain America had a lot of back and forth, I got different answers to the same question depending on who I talked to and wasted a ton of time trying to straighten it out. Scheduled and appointment online with MACU and they had no idea I was even coming when I showed up. Utah First Always has a human I can talk to, never have gotten voicemail, they are extremely informative and on the ball, no misinformation and I always feel like their customer service is the best I’ve ever experienced in the banking world and probably almost anywhere else as well. The HELOC process was very fast and simple and a great product, much better than other banks I had talked to. Don’t think about it anymore, go here for everything.

I cannot say how much I love being a member of this credit union!!We all know how confusing understanding the credit system can be. You have one idea how it works but when you talk to someone who is educated and works with credit daily, you find you’re wrong or not going about it in a way it will positively affect your score. It can be frustrating to understand.I spoke with Jonah K, about my options to obtain the best rate for a RV loan. Jonah took the time to explain what the best course of action and how lowering some credit card balances would improve my credit score. He suggested it would be better to hold off for a few months, focus on lowering my credit usage to 20% of the card limit. What accounts I can hold on to and that do not need to be a ruined as they have set rates and payments. I was grateful he was providing me with the best course of action rather than purchase now and get into a loan with higher interest. He was patient with my questions and helped me understand the credit rating tiers better.Bottom line, I have no intention of leaving Utah First, the customer service they provide to their members is unmatched. I’m a member for life!Thank you Jonah!

I continually have the best experience with Utah First! Katie Beck just completed a car loan for me in record time. It was time sensitive and she pulled through with flying colors, amazing follow up, and a great attitude! I normally check with each credit union for the best deal. After this experience I am done using my other credit unions and just sticking with Utah First! The personal touch, great rates, experience, and so many other little things. You wont regret only banking here. Especially with quality people like Katie!

Absolute terrible experience with these guys. I’m sure everyone has seen the endless signs outside of their place of business referring to 1.99% interest rates for car loans. I thought it might be a good opportunity to go in and see if I could refinance my vehicle for a lower interest rate. This was obviously not the case as I am writing this. This offer is only good for new car buyers not refi people. So there’s the kicker for ya. Second off I went in and did the whole run around with giving my personal information and speaking to Hannah. She pulled my credit and told me that I would be approved for a decent rate and a longer term. So after running my credit she called me later that day telling me that the information given wasn’t enough to get me approved... now wait a minute. You pulled my credit and told me one thing and later that afternoon you tell me something completely different and wanted me to have someone co-sign. So she ran the credit check on my wife to find out that the rate is now much higher and the term is much shorter... careful with these guys as they feed you with false promises only to turn around and give you something that is completely false from when I was actually in their office. Now my credit is shot and nothing was figured out. So thank you so very much for doing absolutely nothing and not knowing how to do your job. Oh and by the way the gentleman that was in the credit union as well having an argument with another lady over his truck and not being able to communicate with his original person he had been dealing with was able to get it all figured out. Never felt so manipulated before. Good luck and stay clear.
