I dont recommend Awaken Event Center after my partner and I were met with discrimination when trying to rent space here for an event.My partner contacted an Event Manager, Dakota, about renting the patio terrace for our upcoming wedding celebration. Dakota put a hold on the date we requested and sent us a quote for the price.We went to Awaken Event Center to view the patio terrace before finalizing our reservation. There was an immediate shift in Dakotas attitude upon meeting us in person and seeing that we are an interracial lesbian couple. She hardly made eye contact with my partner, a woman of color, and interacted almost exclusively with me.Dakota initially showed us a dingy ballroom rather than the patio terrace she was holding for us. She seemed annoyed when she finally showed us the patio terrace, and she gave short non-committal answers to the questions we had.She did confirm that the patio terrace was available to rent on our desired date; however, she then told us that the initial quote for the patio terrace was wrong and that she needed to send us a new one.Dakota said she would email the info to us so that we could move forward with the reservation. She never sent the promised information and continued to ignore us after we attempted to follow up with her.We are incredibly disappointed by the unprofessionalism and discrimination we faced from Dakota and Awaken Event Center. Companies like this should be held accountable for showing a blatant bias against people based on their ethnicity or sexual orientation.

I love love love this place! The staff was very friendly and so easy to work with! They made the process of getting the venue super easy! Dakota and chewy were amazing the day of our event! We had our wedding June of 2018. It was perfect, the venue and the staff was so helpful. Everything set up the way we wanted it, ready for us to put our finishing touches on it. Use of their kitchen and outside area for cooking was perfect. They made it look beautiful and we were so grateful and happy to have our reception there!

My fiancé and myself decided to take a tour at Awaken Event Center being that we were looking for a bigger venue. My initial contact was with the event manager Dakota, she advise me via email that the ballroom starts at $3500. I was expecting this price being that my best friend had her wedding here a few years ago while it was still Noah’s and she paid close to this amount with all “extras” added.The day of our tour Dakota showed us the ballroom in which it looked a lot smaller being that there is now a pretty big stage/TV and black curtains that cannot be removed from the ballroom. We also toured the upstairs patio area as well as the bride and grooms room. The patio area is good for smaller events, the bride and groom room seemed to be nicely put together and looked spacious.Towards the end of our tour we started talking about cost… we went from $3500 to $8400 in just minutes! I mean you name it there was a high price tag for just about anything from the ballroom chandelier to the $250 an hour to rent the patio that’s technically attached to the ballroom. I was shocked at the rental fee for the patio so I repeated back to Dakota the rental fee and she confirmed… As we where leaving I made a comment about Awaken being a lot more than Noah’s, the response I received was “well we offer a lot more and we did a facelift”. I personally know so many people that have gotten married here when it was Noah’s and NO they do not offer more and the facelift they’re referring to includes new decor in the hallways and paint!!After leaving Awaken I contacted one of my friends who got a quote here a few months back to ask about the quote she received. She sent it right over to me and guess what? Her quote was near $10k but she was given a different quote for some items. Ex: the $250 and hour for the ballroom patio was simply a flat rate of $250 for 3 hours and more…Bottom line this place is not budget friendly and I strongly believe they throw a price tag on whatever they want for whatever they want. This Event Center may work for others and some people may be willing to fork out 8-10k for a DIY venue but unfortunately we where not willing to do so. I am however glad we toured here because it made me love the original venue we chose even more!

Ive provided DJ & photo booth services here a few times, and I really like this venue. Helpful staff, spacious rooms, nice modern design. I really like the 3rd level terrace with uplighting. Beautiful view of the valley outside.

It appears this business has changed their name, I’m not sure if they are under the same management or not. I’ll clarify, this is referring to Noah’s event center: We saw the venue when we were looking for a place to have our wedding. The actual venue seemed very nice, but ultimately was not in our price range. The reason for my 2-star review is because of what happened after. After taking the tour of the venue, I began getting emails almost weekly pushing us to book with them. I finally replied and let them know that we found another venue that was more in our budget, and that we wouldnt be needing further assistance. About a month after that, I began getting emails from catering companies and bakeries that Ive never given my information to, congratulating me on my upcoming wedding, and trying to sell me catering packages. They all mentioned that my contact information was given to them by Noahs. I never consented to this, and find it highly disrespectful. Hopefully others have better experiences.

We just helped Salt Lake devopsdays there. It was a good experience. The staff is very friendly and kind. The venue was very nice. There was enough room for the entire event, and we were able to do everything we needed to there. It was good to have space for making sure that we could stage the event. The only downside about the location, is that the parking can fill up very quickly. It is still a great location, with very nice rooms, that should be used by many people.

We held my sons wedding there last week and it turned out very well! Aside from our florist forgetting about the wedding everything else went off perfectly and Noahs did a great job! The staff was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly especially Sam at the corporate office! I think my only suggestion would be maybe updating chairs as they are getting a little bit older and worn out and giving a couple of options for bar tending instead of just one. I am happy with our bar and they did a great job. Overall Im pleased that we selected Noahs for our event and very happy with how it turned out!

Been to a couple of events here - it is consistently nice and seems to do well at accommodating a number of different parties at the same time.I had to take off a star though because the parking absolutely sucks here dude. They do such a great job taking care of so many people inside, you would hope the same level of planning/setup could go into parking accommodations. Like, you expect to have hundreds of people fill up your center but the parking is that limited? Just seems odd to me.

Great venue. We went for a party there that used all floors and rooms of the building. The event location is great and has great amenities but the bathrooms could use some more attention to make sure they are presentable during big events. They went downhill pretty quickly.

I would never ever ever plan a party here. We planned my moms 50th birthday. We put money down and were all excited. We hired caterers, ballroom dance teachers, and sent out all the invites only to find out that they are closing their Lindon location and that the party we have spent nearly $10k on is effectively canceled. And its supposed to be in ONE WEEK!!!! Worse, they broke the news over email. Imagine for a second what would have happened had that email gone to my junk folder... I would have had 150 people and $5k worth of food show up to a nonexistent party. Real professional guys.I called and called to figure out if there was anything we could do. The girl who answered was nice but unhelpful. She said that we could either try to fit in a room half the size or plan another day. Like I mentioned, the invites are already sent out. She promised, however, that someone who could help me would call by the end of day. Shocker, were going into the weekend and i still havent gotten a call. If you are planning an event that means anything to you, do not use these people! There are plenty of other event centers in the valley who will take better care of you.I promise that I would never leave a one star review for anywhere, but I am breaking that rule now. Noahs is just that deserving.

Cool place!Lots of space suitable for a plethora of different events! I could easily see anything being hosted here from conventions to birthday parties!Clean venue, friendly staff, parking can be rough depending on the size of your event, but the staff helps to coordinate that.Plus they have excellent set-ups for people to come in and serve food at your events! Very helpful.

Had a surprise 50th anniversary party for my parents here. It was perfect. Easy to schedule and book our room. Staff was very helpful in getting stuff set up. Couldn’t have gone any better.I would certainly host an event here again. I’ve attended many receptions and other events here and I’ve never had anything negative to say about this place.

I didnt see the whole place. Its another place for special events we only seen one area for the wedding we were at and it was really nice. You get to choose most everything about the decorations and food this is one of those places you get more to show off your money because its super expensive.

Noahs is so fun and very large. They have large rooms for dancing with great sound system, and offer many different rooms for the different kinds of events held there. Ive been impressed every time I come and talking the staff has always been smooth and easy in any of my correspondence. Their parking lot can be small if the event is a big one, but that is really the only downside.

We held Summit Academy High Schools Junior/Senior Prom in the ballroom downstairs this year. It was incredible. We brought our own DJ and photographer. We catered our own snacks. The place looked incredible with the lights, chandler, and fabric all hanging from the ceiling. The ladies who were there to help were very accommodating as I forgot simple things and they were able to get them for me. I think we will use this venue again.

I held my sons baptism at the South Jordan venue in August on 2017. The room as beautiful and the set up was nice. The connections they gave me for the sound didnt work and so there was that, I asked for a new cable and didnt get one and the sound was playing on one side of the room and it just sounded awful.I paid my booking fee at the time I booked the room, then a couple of days later I receive a new receipt saying I was charged AGAIN. They took their sweet time to refund the money, it was only after I talked to my bank that I saw the refund.Now, 6 months later, I get emails from their accounting department saying I have a balance due and for me to provide a receipt, to which I did. Then I think its all dealt with and I get another email saying the same thing. I called them and told them I have sent the receipts and how this is too much of a hassle.I absolutely hate my experience with them and the only reason I am giving 2 stars is because their customer service is amazing. I was thinking about having my sons birthday there and also my wedding but I have definitely forgotten about it. My friends who attended the baptism also wanted to use their space and I think I am going to suggest they find a different place.

We held a small meeting in the 3rd floor board room and it was perfect. We had enough space to move around and feel comfortable. The set up with the TV and the whiteboard was great and when we needed a break we could a little pool. It was easy to book the event and we could bring in our own food.Excellent place for a retreat or meeting.

We had a corporate event here. It was held on the outdoor patio, which is covered, with open air on the sides. It was a fun and was very comfortable. The biggest benefit was that the patio faces East, so the late evening sun was not beating down on us. This was amazing on a warm day.

Went to a wedding. It was on the terrace, 3rd floor. The two drawbacks were 1) no large elevator to haul up large items, 2) Could hear the crazy loud Hispanic music from the first floor wedding. Other than that, it was beautiful! Magnificent view of the mountains. They provided tables, chairs, linens and centerpieces that were fabulous! Pretty Central location. They could stand to have a little more parking with the 3 floors of event rooms.

Nice place for events. Been here for a couple of company parties and a wedding reception. Top floor has a small ice skating are during the winter or open air large event area during summer. Interior seems to be well maintained. Parking is a small problem during times when every room is booked.

Fabulous event location. We went there for a Corporate event and throughly enjoyed it. We didnt freeze or burn up like we have done at previous events at other locations. Accoustics were great in the room we were in. The rooms we saw were tastefully decorated. The staff somehow materialized when we needed them. Great location. Highly recommend!

The building itself is the best part. The staff was super helpful before the event but -the day of I was extremely frustrated with the service. The brides room was not ready to go with any mirrors like they said it would be. We had to track an employee down to find some which took about an hour (on a strict stressful timeline horrible inconvenience). We were supposed to have a table change- from the ceremony to the dinner. The staff did not do it- my family did! I came in about a month before my wedding & did a very detailed walk through of what I wanted/expected & they emailed me a detailed layout of how to was supposed to be. I felt great & prepared, but it did nothing. Luckily I printed some of those layouts out because they didnt have it & had no clue what to do. Without my friends & family being on top of it they wouldve never changed a thing. The garages were full half way through dinner & they did not empty them- my GUESTS had to. So embarrassing. I was so excited about the lights that were supposed to be on the walls to give the room such a better look- but that never happened either. I was so busy with everything that day/night I didnt realize it till after & saw all the pictures that looked really plain. Overall the building is great but thats about it- thats why Im giving 2 stars instead of one. They are helpful over the phone, but day of when it really counts they did nothing but make my wedding extremely stressful for my family & friends trying to do Noahs job for them. Not worth what we paid at all. Also if you plan on having alcohol served go somewhere else! The only company you can use is S&O and they are horrible! Overpriced & they showed up an hour late. Tried emailing them for a refund for that hour we paid for and havent received a response - its been a month.

They have fantastic amenities that make this a great choice for any group gathering or any reception. This place was good. HoweverThey said it would fit 300 but im assuming that its 300 standing not sitting with tables.We had a meeting ahead to get seating arrangements as well as to get other things done before. We asked to have tables set a certain way and the ceilings lowered ... as well as lanterns on all the tables. We also were told that they had runners . So we ordered navy blue runners.Fast forward**To day of reception we came in at 3 as the reception started at 5. The ceiling was still up doors were locked to the hallway and there were no lanterns on the tables and some of the seating was wrong . We had to have people keep going to the front desk to get the ceilings lowered and the laterns.Then all of the tables had all blue fabrics instead of what we were told were blue runners . So they totally misunderstood what we agreed too.

The spaces are big and the room, where the wedding we attended took place, was very convenient because there was a nice outside patio for the ceremony. There was a nice staircase and a perfect spot for a photo booth at the entrance. The personnel at the place was nice and promptly attended our requests. Also there were another 2 other events taking place but you couldnt hear anything that was going on in the other rooms.

The place is kind of a dump. There are tons of things that are falling apart (loose screws, etc.) that could be easily fixed, but it just gave the place really cheap look. Parking wasnt the best, and my computer would not connect to the wi-fi (apparently a lot of people were having that problem). The staff was friendly, and did all they could to help, but it made it so I couldnt do what I needed to do in regards to our event since it was a technology seminar and technology was important to make the whole thing work. Overall, the place was okay, but its nothing fancy.

This venue is awesome! They are accommodating and flexible. Our event was from 4 to 6 pm, but since the rooms didnt have any previous clients, they let us set up early which took so much stress off us. They were willing to get us anything we needed, answer every question, and just were great overall. It was such a memorable occasion and people were so impressed with the venue!

We held a surprise birthday party for my wife and her best friend. We had thought we reserved the 3rd floor, but something didnt go correctly with the booking online and we found out last minute the room wasnt available with all invitations already sent out, caterers scheduled, etc. Noahs stepped up in a big way and accommodated us with the ballroom on the main floor, which actually fit our group better, and it was the most incredible night. We are very grateful for their help, it was a night to remember!

I was not a fan of this venue. I have been planning our companys corporate Christmas Party for almost a decade now and this has been by far my least favorite venue. I booked a room online with a Noahs employee, and when I went in to see the room they showed me the wrong room. Once we figured out they showed me the wrong room (the room I had hoped for and THOUGHT I had booked) it was too late to move venues and they were unwilling to help us at all. I was told the room we booked would fit 80 people comfortably and it was SO SO squished. I felt terrible for our guests. On top of everything, this venue is zero help on decorations and have a very basic kitchen that makes it more difficult for caterers to be there. I will never be coming back to this venue again. DO NOT recommend!

We have used Noahs for the last four months for our monthly company meeting. They are very accommodating, and have been great to work with. The facility is top of the line, and has all of the technical tools we needed. We have made them our standard meeting venue, and their prices are very reasonable. Great place for work functions, meetings, receptions and family events. Painless and open. They dont force 3rd party catering and most of the reservation process can be done online with little to no interaction with the staff. For larger events they will walk you through setup and layout and take care of it all for you. Only bad experience we had there was with the theater, too much natural light. And not as high-tech as we hoped for. Were software engineers so our expectations are sometimes too high.

NOAH’s Event Venue was the perfect location for my niece’s wedding celebration! The atmosphere was excellent! The room on the roof gives you an outdoor, garden-like setting while keeping it cozy, private and exclusive feeling. The lighting was perfect, subtle and warm. The a/v system was a bit more simplistic than she hoped for, but some clever friends and family worked together to find a way to play her playlist and wedding video at the same time. Wonderful locations for a wonderful event!

Allow me to tell you about the miserable experience we had with Noahs while planning our wedding. My wife and I were planning our wedding from out of state. We flew into Utah, checked out the venue, and booked it the next day. Two weeks later we get a phone call from corporate telling us that our venue had been double booked the day of our wedding, and that because we were the last to book, we would have to find a new venue. After about three weeks of back and forth, they offered to make things right by paying the difference for us to go to a different venue. We asked about another specific venue, they approved it, and so we moved forward in planning our wedding with a different venue. After a couple of weeks of wedding planning at another venue, our wedding planner at the second venue said that Noahs had still not payed the invoice she sent. After another two weeks of trying to contact corporate, I got a call back from John at corporate telling us that they would not be paying the invoice of the second venue. BY THIS TIME WE WERE ABOUT A MONTH AWAY FROM THE WEDDING!!! Rather, John offered for us to keep our original reservation at Noahs. So with about a month left, we had to RE-PLAN OUR ENTIRE WEDDING to be at Noahs again. Also, it turns out that our reservation had actually NEVER been double booked to begin with. Someone had previously reserved the second floor, and they wanted to add the first floor to their reservation. John said they wouldnt refund the deposit we had already put down, and they wouldnt pay for us to go to another venue like they promised. After another week of back and forth with John at corporate, we agree to make the venue work at a discounted price.Another week later, John sends me a document via docusign that would force us keep quiet about everything that happened. So on top of putting our wedding planning through Hell, they wanted us to sign something saying wed never complain about it. I didnt sign it, of course, but it really bothered me that rather than actually doing what they could to repair the damage they had done, they wanted to just silence us. The whole thing was pretty sketchy. Also, if that wasnt enough, for several months following our wedding, corporate kept contacting us telling us that we hadnt paid for our venue in full. It took us another couple of weeks to get that sorted out as well.The wedding was relatively smooth. There were a couple of other problems with the venue, but I wont complain about them here because they pail in comparison to the lies and confusion they put us through for months. I get it, Noahs is a nice venue, it is affordable, and has a lot of great options. But I wouldnt wish this kind of pre-wedding stress on anybody.

Noahs looked pleasant at first so we signed it up only to discovered theres hidden fees after we signed the contract. We tried to back out but theres no-refund on the contract that we signed.We decide to go with it, we arranged several things that we want for our wedding, they agreed to it. After few weeks, they made the changes without notifying us few weeks before the wedding, we discovered that on our own. We tried to make the requests again but they refused to meet our request. We were also told that they are responsible to arrange the room from ceremony to reception and will take less than 45 minutes.When we started the changing room, it took them more than hour to set up the room and our family was getting frustrated so they went ahead and set the room up more faster than the people who was responsible for it.We also received poor service when we arranged the groomsmen room to become the children room, we had projector and when we turned it on, the quality was terrible so we asked them to fix it. They said that it was the way it is and theres nothing they can do. If this was a problem, they shouldve mentioned it in the first place BEFORE the wedding after we arranged and told them our original plans.I wouldnt recommend this to anybody that is interested in Noahs for wedding venue.

Too large of a location to not have a reception desk or greeter. Nice facility with lots of space. You can find a room for any event that you need to host. If you are hosting something, make sure you have a contact number, because they are hard to find when you need them. They have terrible sound systems, bring your own for best results.

We held our corporate retreat at NOAHs in Lindon. We were very impressed with the facility and the staff. The staff was very competent and organized and we were able to reserve the room with ease. The only complaint we had was that the bathrooms were a little small. That would potentially hold us back from hosting a larger event. Overall we would recommend this facility to others!

I specifically requested that the bar staff NOT put out a tip jar at our reception. They did:We had guests leave during our reception to go to ATMs under the impression that they had to tip to keep drinking. My guests missed my sister sing a song she prepared for months because they were on their way to atms. Some of our guests just retreived their cards from our card box and used the cash from them to tip the bartenders.... how humiliating that must have been for them. The staff ALSO helped themselves to our food and our cake; I spoke to a staff member regarding this, who said they were invited to eat by someone there. Neither my husband or I were approached by any of staff the ENTIRE night to ask our permission. I told this to her and one of the bar staff behind her said her husband told me I could eat, and started talking back to me under his breath while I was walking into the elevator. Needless to say I had a conversation with that unprofessional jerk. Once I got back up to the reception space I told my husband what had happened with the staff and he was enraged that they would even think to help themselves to any food and said the staff are liars. Horrible horrible horrible staff.8/18/2019: UPDATEIt has now been one full week since Ive made complaints to corporate staff through email and posted this review; I still havent heard anything back from anyone. This just shows how horrible the staff throughout the company must be; any issues or complaints are not addressed in any respectful timely fashion.9/16/19: UPDATENow looking into BBB.Super unprofessional. We wish we had gone with a different venue. PLEASE save your time and energy! You will not get responses from anyone from this company.

AMAZING! This is an incredible place to hold meetings. We had about 150 people in the ball room for our annual club party and we felt like the whole building was to ourselves. When we left I learned that more that 3 other large groups felt the same. We never knew each other was there. What a great design.We will definitely be back! Thank you!!
