These guys do an incredible job and they are a great value with their pricing. I got bids from multiple businesses and 1st American always comes out on top with value. Their guys are super nice and know their stuff. Im glad I used them since the last job they did for us was pretty complicated. I have used them at least a few times for many plumbing jobs. As of most recent we had them come out and haul away 2 old water heater tanks and install a new efficient tankless system. We then wanted a soft water system but our house was not configured for one so they had to make some cuts in the ceiling which included reconfiguring and cutting some pipe to install the soft water. Now my mechanical room has a ton of space and looks nice and clean and the new system is awesome.

My technician Brady was awesome. Showed up right on time and even came back a second time because I had bought the wrong kind of disposal. Instead of just installing something he knew I’d be unhappy with later he informed me about it and didn’t even charge extra for coming back again. Super happy.

The lovely gentleman that came to fix our broken water heater were super professional! They were amazing if I had any questions they would answer them. As a General contractor I hired 1st American to help me with a very unique project. Fantastic work. Blake is a Wiz. Very impressed, the owner came out to my project witch included several details. Great company from top to bottom. Just what I needed in a challenging job. The secretary is on top of it and communication is excellent. The communication process is very efficient. An appointment was set and I was contacted to see if I was okay with them coming early. So the technician came and started the job before the window of time even started. Brady came in and looked at what I needed and gave me a quote with no pressure to accept the bid. They have come to our home several times over the years when weve needed help with plumbing, A/C or heating and are always prompt, helpful and professional.Our tankless water heater is amazing, especially when family is visiting and we never have to worry about rationing water! They came out to change the filters on my RO system. They did not have the filters to fit my system but told me how to order them and install them. They did not charge me a fee for coming out. Very professional, nice and on time. I had them install my kitchen sink and they did a fantastic job. I will call them for all my plumbing.

This company is first class in every way. We called them late on a Friday night because are AC unexpectedly went out and they were very friendly and professional. Another company we called before them was not. They came the very next day (Saturday) and not only fixed the AC but took the time to explain why it stopped working, how to avoid the issue in the future and answered all other questions we had about our system. The tech that helped us went above and beyond. We will definitely use them again in the future and will recommend them to family and friends.

John and Jared installed a new A/C unit today! The A/C unit that was installed 2 1/2 years ago was from the contractor that built my custom home! It was considered below average quality! The unit kept leaking coolant that John was able to install stop leak and coolant to until the new A/C unit and 1st American Heat and air could install it. Wow! They had a cancellation and we’re able to install the new unit today, thank you John, Jared and 1st American Heat and Air! The old unit was not covered under warranty and the mfg said the parts were all on back order 🤬! The new unit installed today was at a excellent price and it’s warranted for 10 years! 1st American is our go-to company for all our heating, AC, and plumbing needs. We first connected with them on a plumbing emergency with a broken pipe and have used them for servicing and repairs again and again based on the professionalism of the technicians and their responsiveness. They make sure it is the right repair, letting us know when components are reaching the end of life but are still serviceable and they have also fixed minor items discovered in servicing at no charge. We rely on them for annual maintenance at fair prices and for fixes when we need them.

Brady replaced a leaky fridge line and valve, repaired a main water shut off, and even fixed the access door for it. He ran my new line behind my cabinets so I see leaks before they come through the basement ceiling. Brady and Jared replaced my water heater, orienting it in a more usable fashion. They were prompt, professional, and took great care to keep everything clean. They did such a great job Im having them back to conduct maintenance on my HVAC system. I would strongly recommend them.

Lance and the team were fantastic. These guys were honest and saved me $5000.00. Another group told me I needed to rip up my concrete floor to fix a plumbing issue. Lance advised me that he didn’t think that was an issue, but nonetheless, he advised me to start with the simplest solution. If that didn’t work, we would look at the next solution. That simple solution was the fix. His honesty and integrity saved me money and made a customer for life.

I called on a Saturday morning because my AC had gone out during a horrible heat wave. I was able to get an appointment for later that day. A two hour window was given for the technician to arrive. As that time approached I got a text from Jon telling me that he was on his way. They have a tracking system do I could see where he was. Jon was very professional and was able to locate the problem very quickly. The repair was made and my AC was up and running perfectly. I have had an incredible experience with 1st American Plumbing. Jon Stanger is the plumber we use from 1st American and he is amazing. A master at his craft. He always knows exactly what to do. He outlines the most cost efficient plans. He always goes above and beyond. For example he came to fix a leak in our bathroom and he noticed our front door handle was stiff. He oiled it and fixed it up for us. He wouldn’t even have mentioned it to me but I saw him doing it. They are great!

We were without an AC unit for months! My friend got in touch with 1st American Plumbing and they gave us a quote and installed a new AC unit that is a better fit for our home than the original unit within a couple of weeks! They looked at our furnace and adjusted its placement. They cleaned up afterwards. There is NO other place we will call for any of the services provided by 1st American Plumbing.

I was very pleased that I was able to schedule so quickly. They were even able to come out immediately had it been an emergency. Today it was not an emergency, scheduled for next day. Lance was there right at 9am, he quickly evaluated the situation, developed a plan of repair. I was pleased with the fix and time frame to complete. I didnt know he also could tune up my furnace, but offered and it was a good idea as it needed some cleaning up. Were gonna be nice and warm this winter thanks to their work at our home. Im am the owner of a small Plumbing company and needed help clearing a main sewer line. I dont have the expensive jetter it takes to do the job properly. I had them come to give me a second estimate for a number of things needing repair after having another company come who wanted to replace everything. I was pleased that they were able to make the necessary repairs only requiring the replacement of the water pressure regulator. He even fixed a leaky faucet for free. The total cost was half what the other company would have charged. I felt they were trustworthy and professional. I will use them again.

This company is great. They will offer lower cost repairs if you need it and still do a great job. Dont get me wrong. Their higher price repair is always the best and most professional way to do it but in a pinch, if you cannot afford the higher cost, then they usually can find a less expensive work around. The work around may not last as long, but is still a good. Ive used them several times now and highly recommend them. [Im 72 on a fixed budget.]

I called this company about 8:00 AM. They said they wouldn’t be here until 1-3. They showed up around 11:30. I was super grateful that they came quicker than the time slot. The tech was Matt Savas. He was super nice, personable and very professional. He came in and replaced the shower valve and was out quicker than I expected. I sure do appreciate how quickly and efficiently they were able to get his taken care of. If you need someone quick and reliable, I highly recommend this place! It’s a pretty penny to get things taken care of, but they offer a warranty and guarantee their work!

Jon helped replace a standard 3 peice shower drain in cement with a schluter flanged drain I recently purchased. It was a speedy and well priced service. Jon was super friendly and helpful, and I will most likely be doing business with him again in the future. After that, 1st American helped identify critical issues with one of my backflow preventers which was cemented on top and glued shut as a result of complacency with the Edge Home builders (too much ABS dripped in and sealed the flap shut). Not only did they fix that, they even did an exam on my AC unit to ensure there were no issues after a recent freezing of the coils, and they charged nothing for that particular visit, which was case by case. Their work is very transparent, high in quality, and you pay for great quality work.

They cleaned out the pipes that had not been addressed for several years! They texted us when their people were on the way and arrived on time. Worked very hard to get the pipes flowing and cleaned up after they were done. Highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs.

They replaced the valves under our kitchen sink. These are a much higher quality valve! The old valves were very cheap and would not turn at all. Very friendly, honest and fair pricing. Will not hesitate to call on our next project.

We remodeled our main floor and John at 1st American Plumbing was amazing to work with. He redid all of the plumbing, set our new tubs, moved some plumbing in our kitchen, and installed all new fixtures. They were very fair on price and have very experienced plumbers. Matt came out on a Saturday morning to unclog our drains that had backed up. When I called at 6am I was shocked to speak with an actual person. He was super helpful over the phone and made it to our house in about an hour. He helped us and answered all our questions, even our kids questions. He was super friendly and helpful. We have been super pleased with this “citrus” water softener that was installed by 1st American Plumbing. They did a fantastic job and we have loved it. This softener does not give you the slimy feeling of a “salt” water softener, but it absolutely softens the hard water.Prior to this unit we had the standard softener tub and unit, which required regular trips to Costco to buy a cart full of 40 lb salt bags, then haul them down to the basement. What a pain! With this Nuvo unit it takes a softening cartridge every 6 months for $88. We are on their auto-ship program, so they automatically send us a new filter when we have hit 6 months. Then is takes me about 10 minutes to swap it out. So much easier!

Quick to trouble shoot, quick to fix, and affordable! Will use again if needed.

We just moved on and our water pressure in the house was way high. The water heater is still under warranty, but since we are not the original purchaser, the manufacturer was not willing to work with us. I called 1st American two days ago and they had someone come out today. They looked at the unit and fixed the issue for us in under an hour. So nice and friendly! Thanks again!!

Weve used 1st American Plumbing for over 4 years. They have a great team and are reliable. During covid times its helpful to have plumbers who wear a mask and are careful what they touch. We just had Blake here from 1st American. He was on time, efficient and wore his mask the whole time and stood 6 ft away whenever we were talking. I recommend 1st American Plumbing, Heating and Air.

1st American was amazing to work with. When our AC unit needed repaired, they were able to send someone out later that day. The technicians, Lance and Allison, were absolutely fantastic. They got there during the scheduled timeframe and after diagnosing the problem, they worked relentlessly to get our unit back up and running. So pleased with my service I received from 1st American. There employee Lace came within the hour and was so knowledgeable. I previously have had another company come out and look at my water heater and I felt they were dishonest. Lace went above and beyond to make sure we were informed throughout the process, gave us many options and his recommendations. Jon tried every tactic he could to remove a rock from our main sprinkler turn-off pipe but was unsuccessful. The leak continues but we are still in process of trying to figure out how to remove it w/o having to dig up around the pipe. He was thorough and knew exactly what he was doing.

By far the best tradesmen I have used in over thirty years in this house. Their treatment of veterans and seniors is going the extra mile and far too uncommon these days. In the future I would not consider using anyone else and highly recommended them.

They got out to the house the same day I called and gave me options as to how we connect the water softener. Lance explained so much about the system and water we have in S Jordan, I feel like an expert on the subject. The price was a little higher than I was expecting, but so was the service. So, it balanced out and Im happy.

Blake and Brent came from 1st American to fix a badly leaking outdoor faucet on an older house. They gave options without being pushy, explaining thoroughly what had to be done and what was the best option for the problem. We also had them do another outdoor faucet at the same time.
