I would like to thank the staff for all of their help. They are friendly and helpful. Upon inquiring on how to apply I was instructed to download their ap JobStack. The ap is user friendly and easy to navigate. Upon completion I contacted them to finalize it and they set up my appointment right away. When I arrived I was greeted by the friendly staff. They had me fill out additional paperwork that was required along with safety assessments. Once I was done they did conduct an interview as mentioned by another person. I enjoyed the interview because they asked me about my experience, the type of work I am looking for and the shifts I am willing to work. I felt they got to know me a little better to find me a job I will actually be happy with. I do not agree with the negative reviews because I feel they are extremely helpful and if you really want to work they will place you at a job. They are very professional and eager to get you to work right away. Despite it taking a few steps and it being a process, it paid off in the end. They do inform you that some of their positions require a background check however you are not required to fill out the form its basically up to you if you want it to be processed. Also, they mentioned some companies require a drug test however you are not obligated to take a drug screen it is completely optional should you be interested in working for a company that requires it as a pre-screen requirement. They have jobs that pay daily and jobs that pay weekly. I am extremely thankful I was placed on a weekly long term position and am now in the process of getting hired directly. I would recommend this agency if you are looking for work.

The Office Clerks are Hypocritical and arent professional I felt like I was racially profiled strongly.They turned me away for testing positive for Marijuana when they themselves were talking about which dispensary they go to after work.

Walked in Monday morning at 6:30am was greeted by staff upon arrival. The staff at this office is awesome and provided great customer service. Elsa assisted me with answering all of my questions and provided great information about their services. I was directed to recruiter Jimmy who assisted with application process. I had a great experience with both team members. I am starting a long term temp to hire position in the city of Paramount tomorrow and I am extremely grateful. I would highly recommend their services.

It is not safe sharing EXTREMELY CRITICAL INFORMATION online such as your social security card, birth certificate and I.D!!! so after putting all my personal information over phone which i’m obviously uncomfortable with doing it tells me and I quote “WE WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT WE ARE SINCERELY SORRY BUT WE DO NOT HAVE A POSITION THAT MATCHES YOUR SKILLS” um excuse me I have 3 certifications and even applied for General Labor I already meet all requirements!!!! What in the world is it saying this For?!?!?!?

I dont understand how this is suppose to work. I filled out an application online and called them and a lady tells me to apply online which I did, and offers no more information. So I go in thinking itll be better, and a guy tells me to apply online. I tell him I already did but he asks for my email and sends me a link to apply, but since I already did it wont let me apply again. So I call again, leave a message and no one returns my calls. I feel like Im getting the turnaround and no communication on their end. Meanwhile other temp agencies go out of their way to message me first but theyre too far. This place was right down the street. What a loss.

I was recently laid off from my full time job. I was struggling to find employment. I had worked for this service years ago and decided to give it another try. In the past I only took daily jobs on my days off which would pay the same day for extra cash. This time was different I needed a steady long term position. People Ready found me a full time job as a Class C Bobtail driver. I have a steady temp to hire working Monday - Friday at a decent rate. The company I am currently working for will be hiring me at the end of this month. The staff is friendly and provide great customer service. I get paid once a week and every time I go to the branch I am greeted by the friendly staff and paid within 5 minutes. They have a great ap called Job Stack where you can view all of the details of your assignment and verify the hours paid. I highly recommend anyone looking for daily or long term work to apply.

They take things too serious. This suppose to be a Temp Agency. They expect you to apply online. So why do walk ins in the first place? Then they have to interview you before you interview at the job you want which is what a temp agency do, but I shouldnt have to interview perfectly for the agency just to get the job that I want to get hired at. So, if you want to get with PeopleReady, make sure you dont mess up in your interview with PeopleReady. The whole thing is just too much of my energy, time and money wasted (because I take an Uber) just to get a temp job. So if you take an Uber, do not go under PeopleReady.

The Staff here are very cool. I went in cause was having an issue with my paycard and Jobstack App. They instructed me on how to resolve the issue. Though they told me that the App is quicker for getting an Assignment.

I had a really awesome experience during my on boarding process. My recruiter Jimmy was amazing and helped me with a lot of great advice and went above and beyond to find me the perfect position. It was my first time in a interview.

Chill staff. Went to look for work during “peek session” and found them through an app. Went in and did some paper work just so I can download an app later on further down the day.

They are horrible. On your pay day they dont answer the phones and claim the servers are down so they cant get you your money to your card. The worst branch of PeopleReady making the company look like a joke. How is a person going to pay the bills and buy food if people like the ones in the South Gate office are just playing. Im still trying to get my money. Playing with people Financial lives isnt funny. I just need my damn money for my hours i worked. How are you guys getting payed if i am not ?? The branch is damn joke and i want my money.

If you work on the weekend, you wont get paid until Monday.

9201 Long Beach blvd, South Gate CA, 90280South Gate (Labor Ready/People Ready) is one of the worse branches Ive ever worked out of. From the favoritism and discrimination to the rude and fake people working in the office everyday. They lied on me and made it almost impossible for me to work for any other Labor Ready/People Ready Branches. Im currently in the process of reporting them.
