The older gentleman doesnt really cut hair as great as the younger man does as I saw one of the younger mans clients leave and looked good from a far but Im not too sure. I hope he takes some classes or gets more practice. I highly recommend avoiding the older gentleman. He gave me a low fade but left me a patchy fade all around. I got a size 8 on the top and he did not blend the 8 to the low fade one side looks rounded out and the other square. For $20 it is not worth it. Thats why I stay going to azteca barber shop on the same street. I regret going here. People like it here because they either dont know how a proper fade should look or just want to get a haircut with out really caring as long as it looks cut.

Came in for a mid fade with a line up, got seated by the older gentleman. He began doing my line up when I suddenly felt him go extremely too high, I asked him to pause and told him he has already went too high, he said it was normal and that he’d fix it. He continued the other side of my lineup and went high as well, at this point I wanted to get up and leave my chair because of how un experienced he was. He finished off with the fade, he left me a line which he did not blend. Overall this $22 haircut was the worst haircut I have ever gotten. My hairline looks it belongs to lebron James. I strongly recommend you to not come to this barber shop.

Great Barbers! Go all out on the fade, and they are chill. Only reason it is not a 5 star is because they are a bit unorganized and the place is a bit small.

Been going to Carlos for about 15 years best barber around. He is very good with little kids keeping them calm. His son is will also give you crisp clean fade. Would recommend this barber shop to anyone looking for a fresh fade in the South Gate area.
