We used this company on multiple occasions and they exceeded expectations each time in all regards. Mr. Zuck (estimator) always provided quick and fair estimates. He is polite, kind, knowledgeable and professional and will go out of his way to help. The crews that completed the projects were also punctual and professional and delivered outstanding service without exception. They were also acomodating when we needed fast repairs. Overall, they are the best in the field.

A couple years ago David Downs helped us replace our siding and gutters through insurance due to a hail storm. He made the process so easy and painless. The work was excellent and completed in a timely manner. Most recently my mother was in need of a new roof. She was receiving outrageous quotes from other companies. I remembered what David had done for us and gave him a call. David inspected the roof and let her know she qualified to have it replaced under her insurance. David was able to get her a total roof replacement, gutters and fascia. David handled the entire claim. Once again everything was excellent and completed in a timely manner. I thought I had an issue with a new roof Apex recently installed. It was a previous problem that I thought had not gotten fixed with the new roof. To make a long story short they sent Tino to take a look and he confirmed there were no issues with the new roof. Instead of just leaving, he looked at the problem and found a hole in the stucco that was causing the problem (which they didnt do). This was a problem that had gone unsolved for almost 10 years. Incredible how he went above and beyond what was required to help me solve the problem! Tino was incredible and the customer service Apex provided was amazing! I cant recommend them enough!!!!

I hired Apex Exterior to replace my roof, gutters and fascia almost 6 years ago. They did not complete the job based on the contract they wrote, signed and were paid to do. As a result of their negligence I now have mold in my attic. I have given them an opportunity to correct this matter however have just heard their excuses and then nothing from them. Not only did they not do the job they were paid for but they didn’t do it correctly at the beginning to avoid problems down the road. Oversell and hope you don’t notice seems to be their motto unfortunately. Be careful because it may look and sound great but it may not be done right or what you overpaid for!

We had 2 other roof inspections and David was our third one. He was the only one who told us that our roof was in perfect condition and he didnt see any hail damages. The other 2 told us we had damages to our roof and we will get the insurance to pay for this. I trusted Davids expert opinion. He saved me from making a call to the insurance company. Id just like to take a moment to share my very positive experience working with David Downs and his Son Sam who responded to our request for roof inspection and quote last week. Not only did we get a call before they were on their way, they were actually a few minutes early. We explained where our problem area was and they immediately went to work looking at the flat roof of our church (approx. 2k sq. ft).Upon ascending to the top Dave let us know that our problem area was simply due to poor maintenance of the roofing drains, and proceeded to show us how much mud and gunk had collected in the drains.Regardless of the stand up cast iron drain covers we had, the water level during rains was getting too high and causing our leak.Dave said our roof was actually in very good shape for its age and he took the extra time to show us some other areas that we can easily fix ourselves. Outstanding experience from start to finish on a small aluminum siding repair job that other contractors did not even respond to. John Egelston showed up on time to give us a proposal and had some excellent ideas on how to complete our repair job, he responded with a proposal within a couple of days as promised. Erin and Rebecca in the office were very helpful in processing the deposit and scheduling the job. They were even able to move our project up a week because of a cancellation. Had six inch gutters installed on my thirty year old house. The new gutters made a big change of the appearance of the house. There were a few concerns that needed to be taken care of and Larry worked with me to schedule repairs during the covide 19 restriction. Larry had won come out and make some adjustment and double checked after a month just to make sure everything was corrected. I am very pleased with the way the follow up service went and would highly recommend Apex for future work.

We had your company do some attic and exterior work for us and we wanted to write to you regarding Mike Zuck, who was our contact for the company. As a little background, we bought our home 5 years ago and have had nothing but issues with leaks and other problems ever since. We have likely met with at least 10 different contractors/companies to try to figure out what is going on in the house and have spent thousands of dollars trying to repair things. Out of all of the contractors/estimators that we have met with, Mike has been the one who we felt actually took the time to listen to us and our problems and spent the time trying to figure out the best fixes. Dave walked us through all the steps with the insurance, homeowners association, what to expect in terms of our claim and the selections for our work. The City of Aurora permit was also secured and provided to us for display. We had new roof, siding, gutters and downspouts installed.The materials and staff showed up as scheduled and there were no surprises. After each days completion our property was cleaned up with all debris disposed. Matt made sure to show up and check on progress and our satisfaction. I took the opportunity to paint the shutters while they were down and Matt arranged to have a team return after the job was complete to put the shutters back up. We changed the color of our siding and roof, the house looks new on the exterior.I would highly recommend Apex.

I reached out on a Sunday via APEXs website for a quote. Apex was in touch on the following day, Monday, and Mike was out at my house within a week to provide a price. Keep in mind this was during COVID-19 as well.Mike provided a detailed quote for gutter replacement and gutter guards. They took down my old gutters which were causing overflow around my foundation. They did some wood replacement, painting, patching, etc. The job started at 730am and was done by 430pm. They even worked in the rain.Gutters were made on-site and professionally installed. They worked with me every step of the way. Mike was there when the job started, and when it finished, to do a final walk through.I found these guys on a whim but have already recommended them to a few people. By far the most enjoyable home repair experience I have had to date. Not to mention they are very reasonably priced. Highly recommend reaching out if you need exterior house work done.

I had leaks all over my house from a bad roof replacement in 2017. Water had found its way to my home from various places. Mike came out to inspect and he was the only person that was honest, didnt ask questions about my insurance and was very thorough in his findings. He took pictures and videos of everything that was wrong with property and gave me a price. His crew came out to fix everything that was wrong and when they found new issues they explained to me of new issues they had found rather than just covering it up. His crew was on time, clean and took their time doing fixing everything that was wrong. I would hire them again anytime.

I would never recommend this place to anyone if they need work done on their roof. the crew that came to my house came and left my house all day as they pleased. Leaving garbage in my yard, LEAVING NAILS in my driveway. My mom got a flat tire because they didnt go around picking up nails after work. They needed to be called back several times to finish the job because they kept saying oh were finished and then we would have to call them to come back. What a nightmare. I contacted them to let them know all of this information. NO ONE ever called me back. the workers also left a hole in the side of my house and didnt say anything, just left. A man in a red pick up truck came to my house and sat outside. he then went to view the hole in my house after i went back inside. He never said a word to me. just checked it out and left. Never again. Dont do business with these people. i will eventually be calling the BBB to let them know of the poor, poor experience.

Requested a quote for some siding repair, about $1K-1.5K work. The project manager showed up after about 3 weeks. He talked and behaved professionally.However, he did not provide a quote. Probably because the project estimate was too low for Apex. I called and then emailed reminders. But did not get the quote.

David came out and took his time and did a complete roof inspection and was very knowledgeable and honest about the condition of our roof. We do not need a new roof at this time but we will be calling Apex for any future projects.

My first experience with Apex started off rocky - I hired them for replacement of gutters and multiple things didnt go as planned. Chad, the field manager, however, personally took ownership of the situation and made the necessary corrections to make sure everything was fixed/improved. He acknowledged the companies mistakes and vowed to correct them - and he did!When I hire contractors, I don’t expect perfection. I recognize that this type of work heavily relies on people and can therefore be a little variable. It’s great when things go well, but mistakes can happen. Sometimes you can get less than desirable outcomes. It is during those bad moments where I believe a company’s true integrity shines through – you separate the companies who really care about their customers and those who only care about themselves. In this case, I got to see how Apex handles unfortunate situations, and I am quite impressed. I now completely trust that Apex will stand behind any work that they do, and I will work with them again in the future!

Unfortunately, we had a very serious leak in our roof due to hail damage. After reading numerous reviews, we chose Apex Exteriors Inc to repair our roof. We worked with David Downs and Oval from Apex and they and their entire crew did a terrific job. The roofers were great. They did a good job and did it quickly. The gutters were done in a less timely manner. ByThe fourth month we still did not have the small piece of siding applied to the back of the house. When our salesman Dwayne finally brought the piece he has no nails to place it. In our Midwestern world this is incomptence.

I recently had my wood shake roof replaced with an regular roof and used Apex Exteriors. Cannot say enough good things about the company and the people that work there as was a great experience from start to finish. The crew that did the work was amazing (and friendly) and despite the tremendous mess that removal of the shake roof was, each night when they left, they cleaned up the mess so well that it was like they hadnt even started the project (not kidding, it was impressive). I had Apex work on my house in 2012. They installed LP smart siding on the entire house including soffit a facia. Also had new gutters installed at the same time. My 1979 dated home was transformed in a matter of 1 week with stunning results. From proposal to job completion it was the absolute best experience Ive ever had with a contractor. Fast forward to 2018. Just had my roof torn off and replaced by Apex. Again a top notch job. It was a pleasure working with Apex Exteriors. I highly recommend this company.

Absolutely excellent work from the estimate to finished product. It looks great. The crew did an excellent job of cleaning up as well. During the estimate appointment, Ken explained what would and could be done and that they would require a third of the estimate as a down payment. We were very pleased with the results. Two minor problems: one with getting ComEd out to put the cover on the electricity going into the house and one of the crew had some chicken for lunch and left the bones under the tree in front of the house. Of course one of the dogs got into them. She seems ok so far. I would recommend them highly, very pleasant to work with.

Found this company through Angies List. I needed to replace the aluminum trim around my garage door as it was scraped and dented. They were the only ones to actually say they would do the work. Other exterior companies either did not do that sort of exterior repair or recommended against replacing with aluminum trim. The price seemed fair and the work conveniently scheduled.Noticed a few days after the installation that some of the weather seal had separated. After notifying Apex, they quickly returned to fix the section and make it all right.Would definitely recommend Apex for trim repairs and will for sure consider them for other exterior work in the future.

This company CANNOT be beat! Theyre professional, respectful & their workmanship is impeccable! We had new gutters added and the gentleman that came to install the gutters, commented on how well done the roof was. He pointed out details that he said most roofers skip over as they are more time consuming and tedious to do. We are so impressed, we have hired them to replace all our windows too! Wish I could give 10 stars!*The team of roofers were incredibly hard working. They never stopped!

Where to begin? Salesman cant write up a clean, proper estimate for work being completed. Salesman submitted 2 total estimates to me and both were incomplete. I was told a 3rd finalized estimate would be sent to my email. Still havent received it. The boss of this place apparently has no personal phone number to call if their is an issue. Requested multiple calls from the boss to follow up on why his salesman missed our appointment to sign paperwork to start the work on my house . Found out their boss decided to leave the office early for the day. Great leadership skills here. I mentioned i would pay for all the repairs after job is complete and the estimate paperwork stated this was an acceptable choice for payment. Now later down the road in this process, they need 1/3rd of the repair cost up front?? Nope! Give me a break. Time is money. Calling businesses to get repair estimates is time consuming. Asked for a rock bottom price for all this hassle i was having with them. Not happy.

Great work and awesome customer service

I never had the work done, because the estimater David didnt have time to meet me at 10am after waiting a month for him to come. He told me he had to pickup a family member at Oak Brook mall. I hope he is the owner if not he is losing alot of business for the owner.

Our skylight was leaking after a series of heavy rains and damaging hail. We thought we surely had roof damage if the skylight was leaking. We had the roof replaced about 4 years ago and were promised that we would never experience a leakage problem.I contacted Apex after some good feedback from a friend. They came out the next day and confirmed the skylight was improperly installed and was missing some flashing. Apex also told us that there was no roof damage and it did not need replacing. We really appreciated the honesty.We did have them replace the skylight with a new product and are very pleased with the workmanship and materials. You can trust them to do an outstanding job.

I was looking to get some exterior work done on my home and getting multiple estimates.I spoke to Rebecca Brewer at Apex.She was nice and extremely helpful.I would recommend Apex to anyone needing exterior work.I am looking forward to working with them in the future.

I have been using Apex for >5 years starting with the repair of a flat roof that no one else would touch. This ended several years of leaking following other half-baked repairs. They have since replaced the shingled roof on the main house, and done work for at least one other family member with great results. This year they fixed a poor siding job and replaced an entry door/ storm door. I cannot recommend Apex enough. When I realized the siding was an issue, I did not bother calling anyone else once I found that Apex could do the work. Why waste the time? They are all very professional and most importantly understand who the customer is and make sure you are happy with the work.

David Coppes was fantastic! He was on time, he had everything he needed with him including samples. He made me aware of things my other inspectors didnt even mention. His honesty and personality won my buisness. Now for the actual work. The installers were on time, they were friendly and communicated with me very well. They finished slightly ahead of schedule and left my property better than they found it! Will always recommend Apex Exteriors to family and friends in need.

Had my roof done by Apex Exteriors in june of this year and it was the worst experience Ive ever had to deal with, they destroyed my gutters, the molding around the trim of my house, since the roof was done Ive had multiple leaks in areas I had never had a problem with my old roof, I now have to repair my interior ceilings due to water damage from a poorly installed roof, I had hours of cleaning up debris, roofing nails etc from my driveway my deck, air conditioning unit and more and when I voiced my complaints on a lot of these matters I was treated very unprofessionally by Apex personal.

Its my place of work is a company of prestige and quality work there
