My husband went in looking for his barber Mel, we waited over an hour before someone finally decided to mention she relocated to NFL Barber on 52 E. Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach. We stated multiple times we were there for Mel, only. It was very unprofessional to keep us waiting knowing about her relocation. Luckily, we were able to get in and see Mel at NFL BARBER before our weekend events. As always, my husband was pleased with her work and we will continue ourbusiness with her at NFL.

Went there yesterday, with a mess of hair. Jeff sat me right down, asked me what I was looking for in a haircut and 110% delivered. I left this place feeling like a million bucks, which is hard to come by these days. If youre in the area and looking for an authentic barbershop experience and simply a great cut, you have to give them a try.

The place is great! My wife got in no wait time. I just think my wife was a teeny tiny bit disappointed with her hair cut. Dont get me wrong the place is great. I just think my wife was expecting something a little different then what she got. But the cut itself was great. Just not on my wife.

I went to try Wicked Cutz for the first time. I have just moved to the area and needed the hair cut, Once I have arrived I signed in and everything was great! Until the barber starting cutting my hair I went to get a fade and a beard trim. He was very fast matter of fact too fast.. thats not even paying attention to details! He just wanted me to get out or thats how I felt speeding through everything... coming into using the razor to edge my whole face no shaving gel or cream used!! Just dry skin and a new razor on your face! That was shocking to me. ONCE I got home My head was very spotty not even a fade! All the edging is crooked! And missed spots.It was horrible! I was wondering why he was like I am going to give you a lil discount for the beard! And I was like are you sure he goes yeah I didnt do much on the beared!! I HAVE. A THICK BEARED AND NEEDING TRIM AND EDGING. Came to find out the whole thing is not even and spoty!. ( If you asked why I didnt mention at the shop after checking the cut after! Was because I was rushed to be taken to pay right after)

Went here as it was a really close barbershop for, read a few reviews and decided to try it myself. Hadn’t had a cut in over 2 1/2 years to have a result in the pics you see below. From what I was told it’s usually busier than my current visit and booking an appointment may be better than just walking in. Atmosphere is important to me and it was great. No complaints from this guy. Thank you for serving your community as a whole. My barber in particular I didn’t remember her but did a great job. Also this is the first time I used a different barber than my usual barber that I’ve been going to for over 20 years. I’m from Jacksonville and I feel that’s a tad bit far to drive just for a haircut. Thank you again.

This shop is busy cause they give very good haircuts. All of the barbers Ive seen go over lines well and wont let you leave if they notice something wrong. Make sure to book an appointment to get in when you need a cut!

Messaged the barber (Mel) in the a.m. to set up an appointment for 2:00 p.m. was message back to switch to 3:00 p.m. I arrived and was waiting for the barber. she came in told me she had a quick clean up to do on this other person. 40 plus minutes later Im still waiting for this quick cut to finish. she knew I was fresh from surgery and coming in for a haircut but yet made me wait for who knows why. Very unprofessional. If you make an appointment keep an appointment. I left with no cut. Will be finding a new barber as other reviews show the same lack of professionalism and keeping appointments.

Yes made an appointment so I wouldnt have to sit there forever waiting. I arrived signed in and was told to take a seat. Patiently sat for 15 minutes and wouldnt you know. Two people were called on next. What part of NOT waiting dont they understand??? I really wanted to say something after this guy walked in goes to the restroom then comes out and sits in the next open barber chair without being called on. They just started to proceed to cut his hair. I just left. These people are full fledged idiots.

Sooo.... thought I found my new spot when in town. Everyone was very cordial and fun to chat with. Sammy did a great job on my hair. However.... I left my $40 custom tumbler (that my kids got me for Fathers Day) and made more than proper communication to get it back. However no one knows nothing and the owner never reached out to make it right. So on that note, watch your stuff and not every place is like this. Sadly they are THAT place now in my book. Sad.

After reading reviews i said i’ll try this shop after all the other ones i been to wasn’t satisfied with the cuts. As i arrive Approach the door it seem to be locked. I looked inside and realize there were customers inside sitting, so I tried opening door again customers looked and barbers look but no one ever came to the door. No signs were on the door nothing to see what service i needed i guess all these barber shops in daytona have low customers service seems like you need your door fixed then and yes i would be mad after driving 20 min and have to go else where but and from the reply def need to learn customer service i didn’t know i had to yank the door lmao

Honestly the best barber shop Ive ever been to. The quality of the haircut is amazing no matter who you get. A standard 30 minute cut costs $15 but I just give them the 20 because they are that amazing. The wait can be excessive some times, but thats just because they are so popular. Trust me, its worth the wait!

Amanda was awesome! I brought my 20 month old son in to get a cut, I was nervous because the last place I went he cried and moved the whole time. Amanda was able to keep him calm and gave him a great haircut in about 10 min flat! Super impressed. She also did a great job on my fade! She is one of the best barbers I’ve dealt with! I asked the man, to give me a side fade, with 1 on the bottom going into a 2, but the 1 should not be brought up too high, it should be kept in the middle (specifically told him that word for word). I come home and see that I practically have a full 1 on the side. Normally I don’t get too worked up about these things, but I barely have any hair on my sides. I work in a professional environment, and don’t feel that a cut like this is suitable for it. I like the barbershop, but will be going to a different barber. Don’t get me wrong, the barber was very nice, great character and the other staff were the same as well, but was not expecting a near skin tight cut even after giving specific instructions.

Unless you are going to see someone specifically, avoid this place at all costs. I had gotten some great cuts here about a year ago, but every visit back since has been horrendous. Last time my barber literally left during the middle of my haircut for some kind of personal emergency. I also developed a huge cyst afterward that my doctor prescribed antibiotics for and told me it was likely from dirty clippers. Stuff happens, and I was told that this barber had been fired, so I returned only to have another barber completely butcher my haircut and beard. Without a doubt the worse haircut I have ever had. There were some great barbers here at one point, but come to find out they have all left to work at other shops in the area. The owner is a nice guy and good barber, but the people who work here are totally unqualified. Stay away

From 5 stars to 3. Why bother booking appointments? 3 of my last 4 have been a total disaster. Booked an appointment 2 months ago and the barber doesnt even work there anymore. Last appointment I booked for my son and I. The barber I booked with was apparently supposed to be taken off the schedule but wasnt leading to an hour wait for another barber to cut our hair. Great haircuts and barbers but if youre going to use online scheduling get it together. It now appears that only 2 of the 7+ barbers only appear on the scheduling system. I tried to book with a barber I had previously used and liked and was unable because they were not appearing in the online scheduling software. I walk in and there they are... Please fix the online scheduling and honor scheduled appointments.

My 10 years old son went to the salon and cut his hair with Carlos, and now he’s crying. A cut completely without style, without caprice ... Horrible! If this is what he can do best, then he needs to recycle. Also he was on the phone all the time during the service. Who goes to a salon wants to leave there happy and not sad and crying. Never again I’ll take my son there!

These guys are very passionate about what they do so don’t expect to walk in and immediately be put in a chair like a chain barber. This place has amazing barbers that are extremely detail oriented for a fair price. You can see the time and effort they put into every single cut. I personally go to Gio who is amazing but you really can’t go wrong with any barber there. The shop is also cool inside. Would highly recommend.

Arrived five minutes early to my appointment only to wait for 40 minutes before I just left. If you’re going to go here, take three hours out of your day because that’s how long it’ll take.

My son was tired, nervous, and scared but the barber did great at handling the situation. We are pleased with our experience! This place always does an amazing job with my son. The two barbers Ive had have been very good dealing with my son, who has sensory issues. Weve been refused service by other family friendly hair places because hes too difficult. They handle him well and he feels great once everything is over.

I hate getting my hair cut anywhere other than my regular barber back home in NYC, but I had to make an impromptu visit to Daytona for a family funeral and I decided to stop by Wicked Cutz after finding them online & Instagram and giving them a shot.They definitely like to take their time with each client, which could be a problem if you’re in a rush, but as the client I appreciated the attention to detail and that it wasn’t about rushing people in and out.I had the lady barber (I believe her name is Amanda?) and let her know that I get a low, skin fade with a #5 on top and a tape up, and I offered to show her a photo if she wanted and she said she was good. I trusted her and the cut came out DOPE and EXACTLY the way I asked/wanted. If I lived here I’d definitely come back and trust her to cut my hair again. On top of it all, she was nice and very professional whether chatting with me or other customers over the phone.The price of the cut was $20, which is pretty standard, and I tipped $10 since she did a good job and I normally pay $30’for my haircut back home.

Been going here for a couple years. It’s recently been remodeled. A lot more chairs for barbers and clients. Shorter wait times due to having 11 barbers. All the barbers are very professional and talented. Cut my sons hair and he is four they are great with kids. I wouldn’t go anywhere else highly recommend it to everyone.

Showed up for my appointment with hair surpassing my shoulders in length. Had not cut my hair short in 4 years. Nate went above and beyond to deliver a supreme haircut and I was stoked. I thought he was finished for 20 minutes, but he continued to make small changes until finishing with a masterpiece. From my observation all barbers were masters of their craft, and really approached their clients with artistry and precision. I will be a customer for as long as I am in Daytona.

Went in today with my 6 year old son who had a bad chop job from a chain barbershop, and marquis not only made him feel comfortable.. made him look like nothing ever happened. Booked an appointment with them online. The guy who I booked an appointment with doesn’t even work there anymore and hasn’t for a while but apparently they still have them up on their booking app. After sitting there for 20 minutes I finally asked who was going to be cutting my hair and they said I’d have to wait. Since I’m a multiple business owner I know how simple it is to keep my scheduling and my appointments on check and therefore this is a very clearly poorly run business and I’m not gonna put my money there - I recommend you don’t either. There are tons of great barbers around here the whole atmosphere and everything was terrible. Zero stars if that was an option.

Great haircut. These people know how to cut hair, and easily understands what their clients want even if they themselves dont know how to describe what cut they want. However, somewhat of an intimidating environment.

I take my teenage grandson here regularly. His barber is Gio and this fella is a GEM! He does excellent work and he listens to the kid like our hairdressers do. Prices vary according to the service performed, we pay $18.00 plus good tip... the rest of the barbers are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming...even though I sit outside while hes in there 😊. UPDATE: Gio is no longer here 😢

Unbelievable experience, Ive finally found the shop Ive been looking for, at first I was a little irritated with the wait, but after getting my cut and seeing how detail oriented the barber was, I realized why it took a little while, if your like me and truly appreciate a great hair cut and barbers who obviously love what they do, this is the only place.. if you want a quick in and out less than average cut, go to sports clips.. Jeff is awesome! I’m a horribly picky person when it comes to people who cut my hair. I never know what I want so I let the barber do their thing and if I don’t like it I don’t go back. I’ve been coming to Wicked Cutz for about 6 months now and the cuts are wicked good 😅😂. They are very professional and you can tell each and every barber in here cares highly for their craft and love what they do. If you want a spot you can go hang out have some laughs get your haircut and have an amazing experience Wicked Cutz is absolutely spot for you. 100/10 in my opinion. Love these people!

Honestly this is the best haircut I ever had in my life. They really do know what they are doing, they really take time and precision to cut your hair which makes it perfect. Though the wait is bit long I dont blame them because the end result is just a bomb.

I was a loyal customer to Brandon who cut my sons hair for a little over a year. A few months ago I made an appointment by phone with Brandon as I usually would for 2pm. I called back shortly after to reschedule for 5pm in which he agreed to the change. I arrived at the shop at 4pm to make sure that I was on time. Brandon had a guy in the chair when I arrived and he didnt finish until 6pm an hour after my appointment time. Then I was told by Brandon that he had to take his 530 appointment before me (so I had to wait another hour or two). When I asked Brandon why being that my appointment was at 5, he just looked at me with an confused face said what? and walked away like he couldnt even be bothered with the situation. While Brandon is great at cutting hair, he is terrible in customer service. I left the shop that night and will never return. Sitting one place for a long period of time with a 4 year old Is no walk in the park and I was shown that day that not only was my time not valued that neither was my business. I wasnt accommodated or anything by the owner or anyone. If you want a good cut and terrible customer service this is the place.

Shop isn’t for black folks. They can’t cut black people hair here. Also there were a few slave jokes between two barbers while getting my haircut. I was surprised to hear these kind of jokes especially with me being in the chair lol you would think they would wait until there were no black people around. Not a black friendly shop at all.

After recovery from one too many visits to a local $5 place, i visited Wicked Cuts after a recommend from my boss. I walked in at 4pm-ish on a Friday and all seats were occupied. Thats a good sign.I told Gio that i needed a total rebuild, and, once his work was complete, i knew i had found my shop. These young barbers were funny, energetic and conversational. Most importantly, they do not rush and know what theyre doing.This is the place.Thank you and see you down the road.

I was getting married in Daytona Beach so I figured what the heck, Ill let the beard grow out and let a professional do what they think looks best...slightly nerve racking being that I was going to be in probably hundreds of pictures the next day. Nonetheless I scheduled an appointment with Brandon Arroyo and he did a killer job! He has a steady hand and payed close attention to detail.
