Vicky and Joe were awesome! I love that the facility is super secured. I definitely have a good peace of mind leaving my belongings there.The process was so easy! So glad I was able to find them last minute.

I called in with just so much anger, due to not being able to do rental online for my Mom Debra laughrey and even as mad as I was she me a turnover on my anger I yelled and was rude and she still treated my mom and I so well thanks ms sandra I wish I can give you more star you deserve them.

This is a nice storage place. It looks very clean and the manager was very helpful. This was my first time looking for storage and I was hesitant but Nicole made me feel very comfortable and made me feel that I had nothing to worry about. She knew exactly what size will work for me just from me telling her how many bedrooms I had to store and what items that I will be storing. I dont need the storage until September but I will definitely be back and rent online. Nicole was excellent.

When I first moved in roughly one year ago the lady that was managing the place at the time was rude. After a while I quit seeing her and started seeing new people managing the facility who were much nicer. I like how all paperwork was handled online in electronic format and the process was super easy. Upon leaving I had an issue that had been handled by the public storage call center instead of the local office the lady was very short, not nice at all. At the end of my conversation with the public storage Call Center I asked if she would transfer me to the local office, she said yes but theyare going to tell me the same thing. I was transferred to the local office where I was helped politely and all my questions were answered by the staff, the lady was very nice. You are receiving four stars instead of five because Public Storage as a company shouldnt run all their calls through a call center. I should easily be able to connect with the local office instead of having to physically go to the facility. That doesnt work for busy people that work more hours than the office is open.

Nicole is very friendly and very knowledgeable. She explains the different sizes of storage units and prices but is never pushy. She is not trying to make just a sale. She really is invested in helping others with their storage needs.

I had some questions. And Nicole went out of her way to help me. She knew all the information. And what she was very professional and pleasant. She was kind of like a breath of fresh air with everything going on in the world today.

Stopped in today to check out prices. I’m looking for a house in the area and looking to downsize so I will need storage in the future. Vickie was very professional. She let me know what was available and about the property. Even when she knew I was not renting for a couple of months there was no pressure. She explained how I could set the unit up online complete the rental, set a future move in date and save money on the monthly cost! She was a delight to talk to answered all my questions! I would give this girl 10 stars if possible! Thank you for your time and you are lucky to have such a patient kind employee who cares and is helpful!!

Awesome place. The Daytona location didn’t have what I needed, they hooked me up a reservation at the South Daytona location. Mary at the South Daytona location is a 5 Star rep. She was super friendly and got me what I needed on short notice. Pretty standard facility, clean units, good prices. If you’re looking for storage in the Daytona Area look no further!

Public Storage remains a rodent infested property. Due to a lack of integrity, and the willing admission that they are protected legally, management continues to do nothing except take a monthly payment. They are unwilling to bring in professional help to take care of the toxic environment. Left with no alternative, the slow process of cleaning, assessing, and moving the few undamaged items is almost at an end. While cleaning my son and I wore filtration masks. This was to protect ourselves from the deadly environment which is created by the presence of rodent excrement. Each time we are there we remove the droppings, and each time we return more are there again. As if the insult of paying for a unit, which is home to vermin was not bad enough, the manager cut off the outside water source so we couldnt wash our gloved hands. She stated, you have to bring your own water supply. It seems she didnt think our masks were good advertising for the business. Gratefully we are close to finishing the process. It has been a physical, mental, and financial drain! Hopefully this review saves others from the experience. Encluded are the most recent photos of our rodent finds. At least these were dead, unlike before. I bet the regional manager would bragingly say that this was progress! On a brighter note, I would like to recommend an alternative storage facility: *Extra Space Storage* in Port Orange. It is a brand new business, in a brand new building. The entire property is clean, good lighting, and safe: Great management as well!

So far, so good. Very comfortable with my unit. Just wish access hours ran a little later :)

Ok. So ya got a lot of stuff and need a place it. Here it is. Very clean and well maintained. Mary did a great job setting us up with the perfect unit and explained everything and insured there were no more questions.Security is quite evident with monitored and recorded cameras as well as having to enter your unique code to enter AND to exit!Thanks Mary for a job well done!

Its always been a great place to store your stuff they keep the lot clean the customer service is great . If you actually talk to them and youre having issues theyll work with you. And the move-in cost is the greatest anytime I need storage this is where I go

I came here because it looked clean, had locked gates, & conveniently located & have used them elsewhere. But I will not be back to this location. They are the most expensive around, raised my rate after 5 months, have had gates wide open for the last week, no senior discount. Owners more interested in lining their pockets than providing considerate business model to the public. However, on positive side, Mary in office was excellent, knowledgeable, helpful, & a pleasure to talk with.

Terrible!!! Mary is the worst!! Nothing, not one single thing I was told by her when I rented the unit was correct. It has been a battle for months, there’s nobody in the office when you need them it has all just been one big nightmare! I do not recommend public storage for anything.

I came to find a good storage unit and from the amazing service from Leslie I can ensure you this is the place to be. She explained in great detail about the protection of my belongings and I really appreciated that. I had a great time as well I strongly recommend if you need a storage unit to get one from them and if you can ask for Leslie do so! Everything I was seeking to know and understand was explained beautifully!

Rats infestation destroyed almost 60% of my mothers storage. Almost everything was destroyed. We lost over 3k in mattresses and sofas. Insurance only covers $250 dollars. Do your self a favor and dont storage here. Management DONT CARE AT ALL.

Nice roomy unit with easy to open door. Also like that I didnt have to go all over town for boxes, tape & moving supplies and stuff I needed (and forgot to bring). Corp told me I would have to find a Public Storage close to me in order to set up an online acct to pay my bill. My wife and I would like to share the experience of going to the storage off of Nova road in Port Orange today the lady Leslie had not only been very knowledgeable of the storage units but as well she had shown in detail how to protect and keep our belongings safe if we were to choose their units. Mary was real helpful and a pleasure to work with. She’s knowledgeable and knows the property well. Followed up on previous negative reviews regarding a mouse problem which was due to a previous renter storing food in her unit. She was evicted. Rent increases basically keep with inflation annually. Kayla did a great job also.

I am very pleased with this facility. I havent had lots of experience with storage places and found when I started checking on them that they really varied. When I first went here Mary & Leslie really stepped up and cleared a lot of my uncertainties up. Since then Ive had numerous issues come up that Mary, Leslie & Kayla have been wonderful to help me with and to work with me to resolve them. Also the professionalism at this location is above and beyond what you find most places now days. They will look into and get an answer or solution for you, not just babble, babble on and on with no answers or resolutions. Very nice and personable folks.

I came down from Orlando to visit friends, and needed a certain size box to fit some electronics I had to bring back home with me. Nicole really helped me pick the right size and it fit my items perfectly.

I came in yesterday to rent a unit and Rachel set me right up. She set me up with lock insurance and damp check which I didnt even think about because I rented a climate controlled unit. This is my first time renting a storage unit (out-of-state move with a need to store furniture and other sundries), and Im very satisfied with the experience thus far. Have had the unit for less than a week, so it is still new to me. Access is handy, facility is clean and well-kept. Prices are reasonable - dont miss the $1-for-the-first-month deal. My unit is a 5 by 10 and is well-suited to my needs . . . I wasnt over-sold for a larger unit. Joyce - manager on duty - is a very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional representative of the company. She is very patient also.Highly recommended!

I just walked in to see about getting a storage unit and Mary was a big help, she even helped me protect my things, even some tools. And even though it was the end of the day for her she was very nice and polite.

After over a year of having my stuff in storage at Public storage at 2450 Nova Road, I went to remove my stuff.You will see from the picture the amount of Rat poop and urine found through out my unit. My unit did not have food, only furniture and sealed boxes.Thousands of dollars worth of furniture is ruined just in my unit. I also feel very sick tonight, from all the exposure to Rat poop and Urine.I saw another man looking at his unit and asked him if he had the same problems, not only did he it was worse. His unit is no where near my mine and in a different building.Public storage on Nova Road is a place where you should not leave your stuff.If you have not looked at your unit in a while, you need to go. This is where class action suits start. They are aware of the problem, but do not do enough to stop, nor do they inform their tenants that the problem exists.The people who run the public storage at this location never mentioned the fact of the extreme rodent problem, or I would have never stored my furniture in there.There is no since to store stuff that is going to get ruined by Rats and a negligent staff that will not do what is needed to get rid of them, nor will they tell you of the problem.

My dad is in his seventies and went to Public Storage in South Daytona but was not sure what kind of unit he needed or even what all he needed. He called me when he was all done because he was so blown away by how helpful and attentive the girl who helped him was. He said she was sweet and explained everything in detail for as long as it took him to understand. She did not try to rush him or make him feel like a bother. Came in yesterday and my sister rented a unit. She was helped by Deborah, who said she was the property manager there. She was very friendly, helpful and even went above my expectations. She made me feel very welcomed and if I was to need anything or have any issues, just talk to her and she will do what she can to help me out. Other places Ive rented from, they werent that pleasant like she was. Great person to have working for public storage.

I came in the office at 545 to rent a storage space and even though Rachel and Nicole were winding up there day they were both very eager to help make sure I got a space and my belongings were protected. These two ladies are very good at their job.

I went in and rented a unit for the soul purpose of storing my beloved mustang for Hurricane Dorian. The ladies in the office wer very kind and provided excellent customer service. I am recognized as active duty military but did not have my credentials with me at the time. Mary said not a problem Got me n the last unit the had that fit my prised possession mustang. I put my stuff in storage 1.5 years ago. my lock was rusty from it being an out side storage and Joyce helped me with ideas to get the lock rusted loose. it worked and i got my lock open i moved my stuff to an inside but smaller unit and she was very helpful about it costing me the least amount by getting it done the same day in switching. she let me borrow her tool that helped me to get the rust free. she was patient and understanding of my frustration and was a good sport for me giving her a hard time. every time i have had to come to the office they are always friendly and helpful best they can be. i would recommend this place to my friends.

The facility is nice, but parking out front can be borderline dangerous. My biggest complaint is that I have only encountered one or two employees that have been nice. Most of the time the staff has been rude. I made a special trip to take care of payment on my mother’s unit because her debit card had expired & she received a new one. I was told that she would have to come in personally & take care of it herself. My mother is 82 years old & is in poor health. I take care of all her errands & personal business, plus I am her power of attorney. I was still told that they could not help me & I should come back the next day when someone else was there. No, I made a special trip today, I don’t want to come back tomorrow. I guess I should have gone in & just pretended to be my mom, but I was trying to do the honest thing. I suppose they don’t want to get paid badly enough.

The amount of rats at this location is unreal. Do not store anything important here unless you want it to be chewed through and urinated on by rodents.Update: it isnt just this location. And the employees dont care. The company doesnt care. Rats and rodents everywhere at all locations in the area. Disgusting.

Came into Public Storage a few days ago and Deborah was super nice and friendly. Went over the size of the space and what I was storing and ended up having to get a bigger unit and wasnt that much of a difference in price. Had a better promo on it and for the amount of time I need the space, was a no brainer on the deal. Any other questions or concerns I made have, I would definitely recommend her. 😀

I changed my review to 5 stars when I was promised that my issues would be resolved. Now I am going on a month and nothing has been taken care of. All they have done is thrown away my furniture that was ruined in my unit. I paid them so much money for this unit I could have bought this furniture a few times! Not to mention the rats poop all over my stuff with holes on the the ceiling where the rats have been biting through!
