Wonderful rescue to work with in finding your dream dog and perfect match!
A friend adopted four dogs over the past 10 years from this group. I’m so impressed with how they operate and their dedication to every single dog. They make sure each dog has been seen by a vet and if surgery is required they take care of it before they’re placed. I don’t understand the negative reviews. People shouldvolunteer for rescues and shelters and see what they have to deal with before writing negative reviews. I’m sure most aren’t even legitimate.
Today I enquired about the sweetest little senior dog that I saw on Petfinder. I read his bio and just fell in love. In the description it said that he had never been on a leash so a fenced-in yard would be best. I asked if this was a deal-breaker as I fo not have a fenced yard. I went on to explain that I adopted a 10 year old peekapoo in November who had never been on a leash in her life. She now happily trots around with us in her little harness and loves her winter coat especially. I received a reply saying that they were very strict on that point. I responded that was a shame and told this person that I never let my past dogs or current dog out without being there even in a fenced yard. I explained I am SO scared that an animal would attack her or a bird would carry her away. I then went on to wish that the dog would find a happy home. The response I got was so snide, rude and sarcastic! This is it:There’s nothing sad about it. We have our requirements for each dog based on what we know of their past. We have no doubt we’ll find the perfect home for Oliver as we’ve done for countless dogs for the past 20+ years. Best of luck with your search.Wow. That is all I can say. I will never interact with this agency again. I hope this person quits bc he/she is really representing the agency poorly.
The most recent review is ridiculous! Their response to your snotty email was more than polite! Why question any rescue group’s requirements? If you don’t have what they require then move on to another rescue or shelter. Or, better yet, why don’t YOU foster a dog and see what it’s like to come across people like you who think they’re the best!
Great caring people helping to rescue beautiful poodles.
Thank you to Pam and Amy we are so happy with our puppy she is a joy.She is smart healthy and a delight .I highly recommend Poodle Rescue of New England.
I don’t understand the disrespectful attitude. You can be passionate about the dogs and respectful to people who inquire. No need to ruin people’s day lol
For a rescue they are extremely expensive. And They don’t reply to emails
Such a wonderful organization!!
Seven years ago I adopted two of the best little toy poodles I’ve ever owned. When I first adopted, I was constantly communicating with Amy, their PRNE foster mom and she answered all of my questions. Amy and I have kept in contact over the years, me giving updates on how happy I have been with my little girls. One of my little girls recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and I let Amy know how sad I was at her passing. And I would definitely adopt from this wonderful caring group again.
The lady who runs this rescue is so rude and disrespectful!!!
Ive have had nothing but positive interactions with these folks. After several adoptions from them over the years, I remain loyal and committed to their rescue group. Ive sent friends tbere too, with positive results. They believe in finding the right home for every baby.
Love shopping there. Interesting place
Tasty, like home made. Very nice owners
I cannot begin to describe the 2 beautiful senior poodles I adopted via poodle rescue. The organization and the poodles foster parents are forever an excellent resource & always advailable to give advice. We attended a recent poodle BBQ held by this organization and I was amazed by the fact each staff member knew my poodles history by name & remember certain traits they Exhibited. . We were well vetted and the process took a couple of weeks but well worth it .
It is so cute I’m coming tomorrow
We adopted two poodles from PRNE and found the volunteer placement specialists to be honest, caring and forthright about what we were getting into adopting two special needs poodles. We lost our beloved Molly in 2015 but still have our wonderful Frankie with us. So grateful to PRNE!
This is a genuine poodle rescue that matches dogs with foster homes while they are awaiting adoption. I adopted my bichon-poodle mix from them, and he was well-cared-for. Its a good organization.
Great work
It is the best shelter i have went to!😀😀😃😄😄😃😃
My friend paid $10 for the application process to adopt a poodle and when she was called back and asked if she had ever owned a dog (no, she has not), she was told I would never give one of my dogs to a first time dog owner. This person told her to go to a pet store or Craigslist! Yikes! I hope the $10 when to the animals.
Grooming very friendly.
