Dr. Blick is what I would consider a perfectionist in the best way possible. She kept coming back in to adjust the work on my teeth and it made a TREMENDOUS difference in my smile. I doubt “good enough” ever even crossed her mind and now my congenital defect is as good as gone. She and Lily make such an amazing team and I can’t thank them nearly enough for making me feel so welcome.

After moving to Somerset 2 years ago I needed a new dentist. It had been almost that long since I had seen one Once again the universe did not disappoint and brought me here. This place is amazing and not your typical dentist office. I’ve had years of bad dentistry and Dr Dean is amazing. We are working on restoration and it’s been an awesome journey.Michele is an amazing dental hygienist we clicked immediately. She explains in detail the work being done and is very gentle. Dr. Gerri Blick at the Art of Dentistry is amazing. For the first time in my life, I needed dental work beyond the normal cleanings and cavities. I was very nervous. Dr Blick listened to what I had to say and was reassuring and supportive. She explained everything ahead of time and stopped at various times during the procedure to check on me to ensure I was not in pain. She made an otherwise unpleasant experience into a not bad experience. Lily was with me the entire time. She created my crown mold, took pictures and kept me entertained. Not only were they professional and caring, they were also personable and funny. I never thought Id look forward to a dentists appointment.

Today l had a very long visit with Dr Berry, almost 2 hours. I get very anxious and nervous about visiting the dentist, but l am soooo grateful for this GREAT team that works with me. Dr Berry is kind, funny, professional and very understanding of my fears and anxiety. Assisting Dr Berry was Jennifer, shes incredible! So professional, kind and METICULOUS, from changing her gloves every time she touched something ( which during Covid is a VERY BIG CONCERN for patients), to taking her time to ensure she chose the PERFECT matching shade of white for my crown! She takes her time and works very hard to be precise, takes great pride in her work! Love this place and the people!!! Recommend this practice to everyone!!!!

This place is incredible, I went in for the first time for a Zoom whitening and Gina was very professional, friendly and pleasant and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend everyone. Hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. The office manager, Sue recommended this place and explained that it is not a regular dental facility. She was not wrong! I was super nervous from past dental experiences but Dr. Dean, Lilly, Michelle and Jen became my calming, efficient wonder team. They made sure I was completely comfortable before addressing the work that I needed. Karina, Emily and Kelly all helped me with schedule, billing and insurance questions that made the whole process super easy. I love these people and completely trust them for future visits.

I came to Dr. Dean after I moved and finally left my childhood dentist I saw until my early 30s. My teeth are super sensitive, so much that I was beginning to dread even a standard cleaning when I came to see him. I had only had 2 cavities at the time of my first visit, and had a bit of phobia as my last dentist had barely given me any novocain for the fillings, and it was a pretty traumatic experience. When Dr. Dean told me I had to have a cavity filled, I burst out crying in the seat. He assured me I would not have that same experience, and he was true to his word. Since then Ive had a few cavities filled or replaced, and even went to endodontist for a root canal with relative calmness knowing that not all dentists/endodontists are scary. Dr. Dean has always given me plenty of novocain, and waited for it to set in before beginning work. I give him thumbs up or thumbs down, and if I begin to feel anything he will stop and reapply. I have never felt a thing other than manageable pressure and noise, which is how I like it. I am not certain how some patients choose to forgo novocain, but that will never be me LOL Besides this, the office staff is always helpful and friendly, and I always have a pleasant experience. The consultation was excellent. Dr. Berry is extremely thorough and consistent. I felt so welcomed and warm in the environment. I was about 20 minutes late and they never made me feel as though I was out of pocket or out of order they really welcomed me upon my arrival with such excitement 😊 I thoroughly, thoroughly recommend The Art of Dentistry Spa.

I usually have terrible anxiety and fear going to the dentist . I had two broken teeth that I was avoiding getting fixed for quite sometime . I went in for a cleaning, I think her name was Michelle, she was so gentle and thorough and cleaned my teeth wonderfully. The atmosphere is not like a regular dentist office,its very calming. My dentist Dr.Blick and her assistant Lilly, were excellent. They fixed both of my broken teeth, with crowns, I was very scared because Ive never had that done before . She listened to me and alot of the times I feel like dentists really dont listen to you and rush you through and dont really care how you feel. She was very reassuring, even told me I could text her if I had any problems and gave me her personal number which was really nice . Anyways, they did an excellent job . Dr. Blick is the kindest dentist Ive ever met and Im forever grateful for such a wonderful job of restoring my teeth .

Dr Blick is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I have high anxiety when it comes to the dentist and avoid it at all costs (and pretty much did for a decade)... I was referred to her and the Art of Denistry and I’m so glad I took the plunge... Gerri and her team always put me at ease and do a great job creating a calm atmosphere in the dental chair, which is hard to do for someone who would like to be anywhere else lol... Dr Blick’s approach has made me more comfortable with visiting the dentist and I highly recommend Gerri to everyone, especially those who absolutely HATE the dentist. Dr Berry just saved my tooth! I went into my appointment in total fear and despair, and now feel confident that he can come up with the right plan to save my aging teeth! It as been a long time for me to feel so comfortable with a dentist, thank goodness for 1 good thing to come out of 2020.

Expensive but quality and worth the price. We go here for the hollistic type dentistry and the staff are very honest and kind.The wait room, hallsways, etc are one of the fanciest and calming offices Ive ever been to.Edit: My mother had work done here for a cavity, and afterwards she ended up with a gap large enough for food to constantly get lodged in between, theyve attempted to fix it twice but to no avail. They are kind though but this created a bigger problem.

My experience (11/15/2020) with The Art of Dentistry and Spa has been nothing short of 5 stars. I experienced my first filling and deep cleaning (scaling) treatment with the Art of Dentistry, they took great care of me. I just had my second appointment here yesterday and I am in love with this place!!! They are so patient, clean and it is such a welcoming place!!! Dr Dean and the dental assistants are amazing and they through everything with me and make sure Im comfortable as can be. Our family has been with Art of Dentistry for 12 years now. Doctor myself I know thing or two about quality, compassionate healthcare. Medicine is an art indeed. That said Art of Dentistry is where you get the best from worlds of advancing and advanced dentistry and art of healing. We are part of the family and treated as such from the very first visit. With Dr. Dean doing (just did for me) implants A of D spectrum of expertise widened and deepened even further. By the way, they should advertise “no pain” dentistry, so skillful and wise their anesthesia is! Great, helpful staff! Never a “no” answer: always getting out of their skin to help, accommodate and direct.

I was looking for a place to get a facial in the area and knew this office was more than just dentistry. Getting a facial here was such a nice experience! Randee was very gentle, knowledgeable and professional. The products smelled wonderful and my face was left so smooth and hydrated. She never rushed the process; it was so relaxing. Definitely recommend.

This is Chris Monroe using my daughters google something. I havent used this system before. The periodontal cleaning and measurements I just had with MIchelle were excellent. It felt like the most thorough cleaning I have ever had, but completely painless. Well done! And she was sympathetic to my desire to keep the costs down since Im paying out of pocket. I appreciate that, too. My previous cleanings there have been excellent, too, but this one seemed to stand out.

Ive been going to the Art of Dentistry and Spa for about the past seven years since I moved in to the area. I took a chance on them based on reviews and the cleanliness of the space when I went to visit, and it has not disappointed. Very energetic, friendly staff that actually likes to have conversation with you. The dentists and the hygienists are all fantastic and personable. I highly recommend them. Michelle, my hygienist, is absolutely fantastic!

Dr. Berry quickly responded to my Sunday phone call about a crown that came off my tooth. He scheduled an appointment to meet in my car the next day, as protection during covid. My molar was quickly repaired in the side parking area, along with his kind and cheerful assistant. They don’t make ‘em like this anymore. I only wish I could give him 6 stars!

Great experience with their entire staff. First time going here and was really impressed with how clean and well designed the space is. Meghan was great giving me the rundown on what to expect and handling my X-rays. Sarah was extremely knowledgeable & did a great / gentle job with my cleaning. I found this office after reading several good reviews online and had a cleaning and x-rays done here. I wanted to comment on the excellent dental experience. Overall the office has the ambiance of a spa with nice lighting and makes you forget youre at the dentist. The staff is very friendly, happy, and professional and took an added effort for my comfort during the painful parts. Dr. Berry is awesome, a real patient centered kind of doc. He took his time explaining exactly what he was doing and even explained how to read the dental x ray! Sarah, the dental hygienist, did a great job and made it as painless as possible. Thorough and welcoming overall, I definitely recommend both the office and Dr. Berry.

My experiences with Art of Dentistry are always positive. I have extremely sensitive teeth and find routine cleanings challenging, but I am always put at ease and given the best care. Dr. Roland is a highly skilled dentist. His work over the many years Ive been his patient is consistently top notch. Hes also very holistic - knowledgeable about how nutrition, supplementation, and other physical issues affect dental health. I love that hes not an alarmist and tends to use a wait and monitor approach to certain dental issues, rather than immediately treating every little thing. I can always count on Dr. Roland to give me sound advice. Besides that, his whole office staff is extremely friendly, helpful, accommodating, and competent. The building is very impressive and from the moment you walk in you are welcomed by the kindest women who offer you coffee and a seat, all with a smile. Best first impression ever. Randee then greets you and gets you all comfy on a luxurious blanket covered bed. After a relaxing hour or so you get up and look like a million bucks! The lashes Randee applied are perfection. You will not regret going to her for any service – she is amazing.

Met with the dentist for the first time and from the start he was down to earth and interested in knowing a little about me. Very friendly and had no problem answering all the questions I had. Such a pleasure being a patient of The Art of Dentistry and Spa. The welcome you receive from the moment you walk in. Excellent service and they stand behind their work. My most recent visit was due to a crown breaking in half and cutting into my cheek. Susan got me in the same day I called, to take care of the rough edges. I have a follow up appointment to get a temporary and then they will he replacing the crown at no cost. I highly recommend this practice.

I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about the art of dentistry! I had an appointment on Tuesday with dr dean to have crowns placed on every tooth to enhance my smile and restore my bite. I have always been insecure about my short teeth and knew that the art of dentistry would know how to correct this issue. I was pretty nervous for the procedure but he made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. His assistant lily was phenomenal! They both took their time to make sure everything was nothing less than perfect!! My temporary crowns look & feel amazing ! You would never be able to tell! I have received so many comments with just my temporaries already that I can’t wait to see the final product! I also need to give a shout out to Dr Berry, Dr Blick, Dr Roland & the incredible staff who have always makes me feel like family and takes such great care of me ! Love you guys !!!

Amazing experience! The whole team makes you feel really comfortable and relaxed, and are all very genuine people. I had to get a retainer and they used an advanced digital scanner which was very fast and easy instead of having to use that suffocating mold. Highly recommend this place!

I usually get sick to my stomach almost immediately from the smell of a dentist office. There was no dental office smell! The Art of Dentistry and Spa makes going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. The facility is beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing and the staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly and so professional. They are awesome with kids too! I would highly recommend them!

Ive gone to several dentists throughout my life and the Art of Dentistry is by far, the best dentist office Ive ever gone to! The entire staff is knowledgeable and it feels like they actually care about you. I had a few issues with my teeth this year and they will always schedule an appointment on the same day to see me. They are very thorough and attentive to your needs as well. Plus, the office itself is beautiful! Who knew you could put a waterfall inside a dentist office? :)

They are all warm and friendly and extremely helpful.Michele is awesome! Shes so good at what she does. I love her sense of humor and the way she spends quality time with each patient. Better yet, you could opt for a spa treatment before or after your appointment as this office is also a full-service spa.The doctors are conservative yet thorough and treat you as if youre a member of their family when they recommend treatment for you. All of the treatment is done with the most advanced materials and equipment and delivered in such a way that you feel truly taken care of when you are finished.With this place, you need to see it to believe it. Its an extraordinary concept for a dental (or really any medical) office. You wont be disappointed with an experience here.

Had a wonderful experience. Dr. Blick took all the time needed to answer my questions and make sure I fully understood what needed to be done and what could wait and why. I really appreciate that as Ive had a lot of dentists not take the time with me and rush the checkup. I already scheduled my next appointment!

I brought my boys for a cleaning and checkup recently and couldnt have had a better experience. Karina set up our appointments and was very helpful and informative. Karina helped me understand the insurance and billing aspect of the visit. Always like seeing her smiling face there ready to help in any way. My son Zack was nervous and was instantly calmed by Dr Dean. He was excellent with both of my children and made them feel comfortable. I have had excellent service everytime I have been there so I knew my boys would be taken care of in the same way.

I have been going here for over 20 years and I love my smile. From day one I was treated like a family member. Couldnt ask for a better experience and attention.

Dr. Blick is amazingly gentle and thoughtful.She explains herself thoroughly, and makes me feel at ease throughout procedures. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and are always willing to go above and beyond when assisting and tending to my needs. I moved to New Jersey one year ago from Florida where I did have a wonderful dentist who did amazing work. I was very nervous about finding a practice that would be as comprehensive and caring. I Googled and Yelped and I found The Art of Dentistry and Spa.This dental practice is state of the art in every sense of the word. The commitment to incredible dental care, the warm and engaging staff, state of the art equipment and medical/dental knowledge and an all around plain and simple wonderful experience is where I want to be. So glad I did my homework and found this practice. I would highly recommend The Art of Dentistry.

I was referred to The Art of Dentistry and Spa by a friend for their Spa Services. I live in Somerset and decided to come in person to make an appointment. As soon as I walked in the door I was in awe of how tranquil and beautiful the office was. I was greeted very kindly by the staff. I made appointments to see Nancy for Massage and Randee for Skin Care. It was the most relaxing facial and massage that Ive ever had plus they were sweet as can be. Upon checkout, I asked Susan (also sweet as can be) about what kind of dental services that are offered. As someone who does not usually enjoy going to the dentist, I decided to make an appointment anyway for the next day to see Dr. Dean Chencharik. Once again, the next day I was greeted warmly. I lucked out and was able to meet all 3 doctors, Dr. Roland and Dr. Berry on staff. Every single person I met was extremely nice and made me forget that I even had a dental phobia. The entire staff truly seemed that they were happy to be there which in return made me feel happy to be there. I had an exceptional exam by Dr. Dean and the best cleaning Ive ever had by Sarah. I can not rave enough about this office and booked my next appointment with their holistic nutritionist :)!

I have been going to the art of dentistry since Middle School and have never felt the need to change offices. They always provide a great experience when going their and the staff are nothing but informative and pleasant. I live all the way in Pennsylvania and the trip is about an hour long but it is well worth the trip. Karina, Michelle, Kristen, Dr. Barry, and Dr. Dean are the best at what they do and have provided a great friendly experience.

The building is beautiful. I love having some tea or coffee in the waiting area before they call me in. Everyone is so friendly and nice! Dr. Dean is great, he explains everything to me, he’s very thorough, Michele is amazing, i love them!

The staff is wonderful! They are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They care 100% about their patients. From cleanings to more extensive procedures I always feel confident I am getting the best of care. They have been my dentist for almost 20 years and I would never go anywhere else!

I have been a patient of the Art of Dentistry for many years. Michele is my hygienist and she is knowledgeable, professional, witty and I consider her part of my family. No matter which dentist you see, you will be in great hands. From the dentists to hygienists to the office staff - everyone is helpful, caring and professional. I never thought Id say that I actually ENJOY going to the dentist. If you are reading this and trying to pick a new dental practice, you can stop looking.

I have always been afraid of the dentist, like my entire life!!!! I was going to another office for dental work and thanks to a good friend I ended up switching to this office. Dr. Dean has been a blessing to me, actually the entire staff has been beyond wonderful. I am not afraid to come in, rather than being afraid I am actually excited to come in and see the outcome. I have gained confidence to smile and I still have work to do, but I feel so much prettier now after getting my crowns done. I would recommend this office 1000000% I promise that you wont regret leaving your smile in their hands.

The Art of Dentistry is an extraordinary place. The staff makes you feel like family and the environment is zen. You dont even feel like youre at a dental office. Michele has made my experience extremely enjoyable. She has immense expertise and a vibrant personality. Love this place!
