Got a full acrylic set with Nick. I was overall happy with the quality. Good prices, clean place. Will return.

I went to get a regular manicure and pedicure but was forced to get a gel manicure the whole time. The nail tech kept saying “don’t come back and tell me it’s chipping already” and I noticed that she was using a gel nail polish for the regular manicure so obviously it’s going to chip. The very next day, my nails started chipping. That doesn’t happen with a regular manicure nail polish. I could’ve done with by myself and the nail polish after washing dishes etc will stay for a longer time than this. This older nail tech used a gel nail polish for a regular manicure. I even asked let me pick out a nail polish from the regular options on the wall but she said no, we have it back here. Those going here, please make sure to watch out for this.

Probably the most disappointing nail appointment I’ve had in years.I wanted the simplest gel manicure. I mainly went to get my nails cleaned and cuticles pushed back. Which did not happen. The man doing my nails didn’t care to clean up my nail beds at all. Also, considering the pandemic, he did not use freshly cleaned tools but rather pulled ones out of the drawer that he used on the client before me. The one time use nail files were not one time use.In addition to the lack of cleanliness, my nails were crooked even though I simply asked for square nails they were all different shapes and the polish was all over my skin. About 2 days later there were chips in my gel polish. I do not recommend going here.

The lady worked extremely fast and my nails looked good. However, I soon noticed that my fingers began to develop blisters. The skin around my cuticles and under the nail began to peel. One finger is really bad with the peeling.

My first time coming to this place. Got a pedi and gel full set. My pedicure was ok And my nails are a little less than ok. It’s already starting to chip and it’s only been about 4 hrs. I feel like this lady rushed through everything. They seem a little aggressive too. Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess I was disappointed because I saw the 4 star rating. I should’ve just stayed at my 3 star nail place.Update:All my nails are slowly coming off. They started peeling from the edges. Please if you don’t know how to properly do a gel full set just be honest and say it. It is very expensive and money doesn’t grow on trees.

I happened upon this nail salon by accident. I had shown up to a nearby appointment over an hour early and thought a pedicure would fill my time. Im so glad I popped in. They welcome walk ins. I didnt have to wait. They are a clean facility with kind and friendly staff. I may just have to come early to my future appointments so I can enjoy their pedicure services.

This place is awesome. Took me right before they were closing. I move to the area recently. I went to another place close by to them. Not so welcoming. Been here since. I love that the owner will take guests past closing time. They dont rush either. There mainly family that works together. Lisa is amazing very friendly and caring. And funny! And does good work! Micheal also does a great job love him! They also have a point system first i ever seen! Amazing perk for every dollar on a card purchase you get 5points and for every credit purchase you get 1 point per dollar. Bring cash you get more points. Turns into money you take off youre nail purchase.

Love this place! They are very nice, the first time I went I only had 45 minutes for a full set and the nail technician was fast but did an amazing job, today I went to Lisa and she is very sweet and made sure I was happy with my nails, she did a great job! I will be back every 2 weeks !

I picked a place based on ratings when I moved to Somerset and I couldn’t be happier. Lisa is wonderful and works with my flight disability very well. She’s always friendly and helpful. My gel fills last 4 weeks and pedicures longer. I highly recommend Cool Nails and, though everyone is friendly and kind, ask for Lisa!! Oh, an you accumulate points each time leading to discounts!!

Went in for my appointment on a busy Saturday right after covid-3 phase 2 lift for a full set and pedi. Not sure exactly who completed my pedi, but she was sweet and attentive to my quarantined feet! Lol followed by Owner lee who completed my nails set, he was extremely friendly, caring and “hosted” his business as anyone in the industry should. He ensured everyone in the establishment was being taken care of with out taking away from my time. Staff works great together. (Not a lot of side conversations in different language which I personally can appreciate.) His attention to details and perfection Is impeccable. I highly recommend getting your nails done here if you want to experience great customer service and beautiful nails.

I went to the nail salon maybe 30 minutes till closing time. I called before I went in, and I was glad to hear that I could come in. When I first moved to Somerset a friend recommended me to a nail salon that I used to go to but unlike cool nails, they just was not friendly ( talking about the other nail salon). As soon as I walked into cool nails you feel very welcome, the atmosphere is very relaxing and clean. The workers had a warm smile and I just new this was my new place to come. The guy who did my nails did an awesome job and my nails look very natural just how I like them. I wish I had find this place earlier because I appreciate good customer service and kind people. I have been going to this place off and on for at least 18 yrs and they have always been consistent, with professionalism, cleanliness, and welcoming... they have had the same owners and the same attitudes..that is a plus... when ever im in town or my work schedule permits I drop in for a service or too I have NEVER been dissatisfied!!!

They attended me and my friend 30-35 minutes after we came. It was understandable because once we got there, there was people ahead of us. Other than that, i liked how my nails came out but she did a horrible job on one of my fingers and painted my skin.Won’t go back.

I love this place! They do an excellent job with acrylic nails and the prices are so reasonable. Lisa is amazing, and the lady at station #2 I think (the first one to your right when you enter) does a great job as well. Would definitely recommend if you’re getting acrylic nails.

The service here is very displeasing. I was sitting there waiting for an hour before I got seen. Then I got called rude because I expressed in an very calm manner my displeasure. Finally the lady who did my friend nails got my done with my friend and did my nails perfectly. I am giving three stars because besides table 1 and 2 the rest are really nice. Nails are done nicely and place is clean. Need to get better at doing feet(not mines).

I’ve been a regular at this salon for a few years. The staff is great. They offer appointments and welcome walk-in’s. They do great work, I am very particular to the point where they say “I know how you like it”. I’m usually a real plain Jane but today I strayed from my usual (coffin) acrylic powder ombre for a holiday party. I came in with a photo- Lee matched their color and went above and beyond to make the glitter looked even better than the photo.Also, I’m just gonna add they still did my nails despite having a giant cast and having my arm practically immobilized... for months lol. They’re so sweet!

It was my first time here and it was highly recommended I was super excited and got there on time.The guy manicurist was nice, but the job wasnt great. There were messy seams & bad coverage of my entire nails (the sides), he didnt scrape under my nails or trim my cuticles, after drying I found a lot of bubbles, the coats were rather uneven, and my thumbnail (my favorite nail) was shaped extremely lopsided.. I ended up peeling a lot of the top coat off of my surrounding skin & my cuticles were messy. I just wish it was a cleaner job but if youre going for the ambiance, its a nice facility.. I wont be going back there again!!

Very disappointed 😢. I went here based on previous reviews that were good. I walked in & expected to wait so I asked how long would it be to get a pedicure. Lisa said 20 minutes. I ended up waiting a half an hour. Eventually Andy did my pedicure because if I had waited for Lisa it would have been 45 minutes. You would think that she would know a 20 minute job vs 45 minute job. Andy did an okay job but never again!

Has to be the worst pedicure I’ve ever received. The man rushed. Like literally was speeding through, there was no one waiting after me either or i would have been more understanding. Barely scrubbed my feet like i could feel the gel they put on for callous still on my feet after, i had to wash it off when i got home. Barely put on lotion, i had to rub it in because he didn’t even bother to. Cut my nails uneven and he did a horrible job painting my toes. I’m appalled by how rude they were to me as well. Please save your money and go elsewhere. Do not go here.

My pedicure came out well but my manicure was THE worst I’ve ever gotten. Normally I don’t write bad reviews, because who has the time, but this was crazy. My nails are all different lengths, the edges aren’t straight, and for some reason after two days it looks like my manicure is a week old. I don’t know if he didn’t paint the whole nail or what. So maybe it’s just the person I had (a young man) or you need to be more assertive than I was when asking to fix certain things. Regardless I’m never going back.

I loved this salon but they are falling apart. Got my nails done for a trip today. The yellow polish I wanted they told me it was not available and when I found another she told me its too thin. I came for yellow nails & left with white nails. Good thing is they took me last minute. The bad thing is it looks like my 1yo painted my nails with whiteout . $57 is alot I should be satisfied but now I have to reschedule a polish change else where. (Luckily I dont know how to post a pic but Im disgusted)

Wish I could give a better review, but there is much room for improvement here. This nail salon has a lot of potential. I was in search of a new nail salon closer to my apartment instead of driving far to my usual place. I will just eat the drive and heres why:* The person doing my nails was constantly being interrupted by customers entering/exiting and over the phone. I inquired about them hiring a receptionist for such a busy shop. The owner said that it would take to much time to train someone. Well, when you are one of the few people that knows how to do acrylics in the shop someone else should be able to deal with fielding the customers. That way the person you are working on does not have their service constantly interrupted.* Due to the unacceptable amount of interruptions the service took FOREVER!!! The quality of the very simple design I requested was very poor because the tech was tired of doing my nails. He kept pushing my hands back to me asking is this good now. This is after I waited an hour just to be seated.* He filed my nails too much for a new set. My nails beds were in pain for days and twice he nicked me causing me to bleed.* I showed him the design I wanted before we started and he said YES I can do that design. Then when it came time to polish he said that he could not do the design the way I wanted.* Nails were 80% painted.* The shape was chunky.* Gel polish on acrylic nails did not last a week before staring to fade and peel.

I cant you you less stars because it doesnt allow me. first off it was $45... for my nails to be lifting on the 3 day I got them done. and the tips werent applied correctly because my nail underneath isnt even glued on to it. so now i have space and hopefully dont get fungus.

The nail tech was very detailed with both my mani and pedi. He wasnt very engaging but he did his job. The staff appeared welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxing (decor & music).

They work really fast...which means my gel nail Polish had bubbles and peeled.

The negative reviews are true! Went here and got a gel manicure and mannnn...in less than a week, two of them started peeling already 🙄. My nails were shaped unevenly. Andddd... their equipments are not truly sanitary. Watched a man finish giving a woman a pedicure, put the tools in the bag, & placed it right back in the drawer 😩. Id say go elsewhere.
