This was a truly wonderful experience! The eclectic style is evident from the moment I walked in the front door. This place is like a Jeep museum, and has a million things to see throughout.It is quite obvious that the business is a professional barber shop too! I was greeted at the door, and seated right away. The barber asked how I wanted my hair, and went straight to work. He kept his demeanor the entire time, while intelligently negotiating a conversation about current events and some special items in the shop.Truly worth the visit, and Ill definitely be returning.

Very comfortable atmosphere and you are treated like family the place has amazing decor to catch the eye and even a pool table to use while you wait for your appointment.Of course none of this would matter if the haircuts were lacking and Im happy to say that every barber Ive used in there has done a great job each time.They are my go to barber shop and Im pretty picky, honestly if I could give more than 5 stars I would, so go check them out for yourself.

Literally the best haircut Ive ever gotten. Ive always been nervous around straight razors and always opted out, but Larry got the job done and was so smooth I barely noticed. Wow! In town for a family reunion, I called and they were all booked. They told me to come over and they would squeeze me in. Great job! I love the atmosphere. If you are in need of a barber or a place to have your beard cleaned up-or groomed, this place to go.

I scheduled my appointment online -with about a 4 hour advance. I came to my appointment, on time, and sat down in the chair. Upon my arrival it was obvious the barber was not happy to have me there. Why? I have no idea -never talked to or met the guy in my entire life. Nevertheless, I show him an image of what I want done to my hair, and he begins cutting. Throughout the cut he was not very friendly, or anything of the sorts. I should also mention he seemed annoyed that he had to sit his YouTube video down to cut my hair. After a relatively silent haircut, he decides to straight razor the back of my neck -awesome! Until he cuts me. And then failed to mention that he cut me and sent me out the door. I won’t be back, nor would I recommended this place to anyone. His name was Zach Richardson. I hate to leave this review, as I’ve never left a bad review before -but this is just unacceptable.

I really enjoyed my appointment today. Normally I get my hair cut by the owner, Larry, but today I used Zack. Zack did a great job on my cut and shave. I highly recommend the Open Blade barber shop to anyone looking to make something as boring as a haircut and shave a more enjoyable experience.

Ive gone out of my way to go to the owner (prior to his move to his own shop) for a cut for a couple of years now when im in state. Making drives as far away as Bowling Green.I tend to cycle through all of the staff since they all do great work and theyre extremely accommodating and patient when doing cuts for my two year old who is still very much getting used to clippers.

Amazing barber shop. Great barbers and hairstylist here and you can even get an old time shave with an open blade, (hints the name). The waiting area has many activities to enjoy while you wait including a pool table.

Larry has the best shop in town hands down. The shop is beautiful, the barbers are all top notch. Larry will not allow just anyone to cut hair in his establishment. Walked in. Asked if they would be willing to shave tenticles into the side of my noggin. Larry did. And it is absolutely fantastic. Ill not go anywhere else.
