Traveling during Kentucky the holidays my mothers alternator went out. Tim did not hesitate to help us being the ONLY mechanic available in the surrounding counties he stopped what he was doing to get us back on the road. He was very knowledgeable and helpful! We are thankful Toyota of Somerset referred us to him. Hands down nicest and best mechanic I’ve ever met!

We used Tim’s Mobile Garage first when I was broken down on the highway, and he has been our go to ever since! Very professional, polite, and is always there as quickly as possible. So we were heading back to Alabama from visiting family in Ohio and my mother in laws Tacoma alternator went out and it’s the day after the fourth all shops are closedown and found Tim on Google and he didn’t hesitate to get us back up and running quickly. Dealership said would be 3 days before they could look at it and had to order part cause they would not use aftermarket parts. Tim really saved us a lot of time and money wish we had someone local where we live with his talent and kindness, thank you so much Tim for such a good job and fast recovery getting us back on the road

Tim has been so good to my husband and I! He has worked on two of my husbands trucks and really takes the time to go above and beyond! My husband just took a 1,000 mile trip in his truck right out of Tim’s garage with no problems. 100% would recommend Tim for mechanics and towing! I was driving from Indiana to Knoxville and my car broke down about midway between. I managed to get off an exit and limp to a gas station. My car was still under new car warranty and Honda called Tim’s Mobile Garage to tow me to the nearest Honda dealership. Tim kept me informed of his arrival and was very courteous to me when he arrived. He loaded up my car and took great pride in his work and safely got my car to the dealership. He then called me to let me know when he had dropped it off and that it was in the possession of Honda. I was very grateful to Tim for getting me out of a nasty situation. Not a good way to start a vacation but Tim made me feel a lot better. Thank you Tim.

My wife put unleaded fuel in our diesel truck and stranded us at a BP gas station. We sat there for 5 hours waiting for a tow truck with 5 adults and 9 kids in tow, what a hell!! It was a Sunday evening with nothing open. We found Tims open 24/7 and were totally relieved. We had the truck towed 30 miles and got to his house/garage. He met us and was totally prepared to begin the work that was needed. He advised us on the progress the whole way through and was very thorough. He was prepared to place a new fuel filter and fuel pump in the truck if needed. Thankfully, no gas had reached the filters due to not driving it more then ten feet to park it. He even gave our truck a ride to the gas station in his own truck to put the correct fuel in and primed the engine to ensure we were OK. Tim saved the day and our first two days of vacation. We recommend his service for anything!!! I would use him for all our auto needs but, Ilive in Colorado.

I DO NOT recommend this place. My family and I broke down at 2 am last week. His advertisement says 24 hours or i would not have called him at that time. He stated that he would try to get to me in the morning. I proceeded to call around at 8 in the morning and found someone that was amazing. Tim proceeded to harass me on the phone. He called me and made bodily threats saying that I pranked called him, i did not. He called me 8 times and even left a nasty message ( i have proof of this)....VERY RUDE.... i was honestly scared that he was going to come to my location because i told him where i was broke down at when i originally called him and hurt us like he threatened to do so.

Tim was extremely helpful as we were 7 hours from home. Prices were very reasonable. Very easy to work with. A truly nice guy!

This guy shows up at a hotel today and tried to tow a vehicle without being called to tow it, he was told by the management to leave it alone, they had to call the police in order to get him of the property, he didn’t have paperwork to pick it up either. Don’t deal with them they’ll try to screw you over just to make a quick buck.

We were traveling through pulling our Fifth wheel when we stopped for gas I noticed one of our leaf springs busted These guys went out of their way (to another town 1 hour away) to find the exact leaf spring I needed. They had my family and I back on the road that same day. Very grateful for their help.

Ran into an issue with my truck leaving a gas station where the oil pressure bottomed out. Upon inspection I realized that my truck was spewing oil but luckily I was able to park it without destroying anything. Called up Tim the next day to take a look at it. He was very quick to respond to my call and showed up quickly to investigate. Tim had someone bring oil so that we could test it out and try to identify a root cause. We started it and he let me know that I had a busted engine block / thrown rod. He was unable to hook up to my truck because I have plastic under the bumper. He let me know I had an opportunity to pick up an engine with 100k miles and a 1 year warranty for 2200. I let him know that we would look around and try to find a good deal. Later that evening he called to let me know that they were coming with a flat bed to pick the truck up. I let Tim know to hang tight cause my dad (much more educated on vehicles than I am) wanted to look it over. I heard as he was getting off the phone, “waste of time”. Then, I heard brakes outside and it was Tim with his tow truck driver. I walked out to meet the men and asked why they were there. Tim told me that hanging tight would put them out of business. I let him know that my dad was coming to take a look at the truck. Tim asked who owned the truck. When I told him I owned the truck he told me that was something that people driving their parents car would do. I asked the gentleman what I owed him for the initial look see. He began telling me how great of a mechanic he was and to ask anyone in somerset. Eventually he finally let me know the damage would be 80 bucks for the inspection but I wouldn’t be charged if he worked on it. I paid them and went back into my house while they continued to stand outside talking amongst themselves.Short story, my dad picked my truck up and delivered to a shop in Mount Vernon. The issue was a blown rear oil seal. Ended up costing me less than 200 to fix. Let Tim know that the problem was resolved and what had happened. My reply was, “Ok”.Maybe it was a mistake, maybe he wanted to fix up a nice 5.3l v8 and make double the money off it but the way our interaction was handled was uncalled for. Very rude. Would not recommend.

I do NOT recommend this company! They towed a vehicle for me in the middle of the night and did not put it where he was supposed to also leaving the rear end of the vehicle in the road. When I called to tell them it needed fixed he started screaming and cussing me and calling me a liar. Then he said he was tired of people calling and complaining so obviously he does this stuff often. Bad business and horrible customer service from the owner at that!! After posting my experience on his FB page he started texting me and threatening me that I better take it down or he would press charges

Great communication over the phone, he is very busy but worth the time! Saved me a lot of time and money when he came out and looked at my wife’s car. Fixed the overheating issue in about about 30 minutes and I learned a couple things in the process. Very friendly and affordable, would definitely recommend because I would use again in the future.

Do not use this service! Tim is an unstable conman and your experience with him will at best be tolerable, if you comply with all of his BS. My friend and I were passing through when our car broke down and I made the mistake of calling Tim to have it towed. The towing went fine but he later tried to rip us off with the price of the fix by telling us that it would cost $350 to have the necessary part shipped in through the dealer. I called the dealer and they told me that it would in fact be $99.35 and that this is also what they told Tim. Realizing this, we had Tim tow the vehicle to a different garage (Fox Total Car Care - highly recommend) and he snapped when we refused to pay him ~$300 for having ordered the part before confirming with us that we wanted him to do that. He started yelling at us and threatening us, and the owner of FTCC had to step in and call the police (apparently not the first time thats happened with this guy).We ended up paying Tim for the towing and paying much less at FTCC for the repair, but only after a great deal of conflict and drama on Tims part. Tims is a scam and Tim is NOT the kind of person you want to have to deal with. Our experience with him was not unique and I find it hard to believe that the positive reviews here are genuine.

Tim (the owner) was absolutely the rudest business owner Ive ever dealt with. His communication level consisted of foul language that would make a sailor blush. Any question about his work resulted in not only cussing but threats of police involvement, putting a mechanical lien on my vehicle and even told me he would take my house. This man is the absolute opposite of what anyone needs in an auto mechanic.

I locked my keys in my car and called for a lock service that couldn’t help me since I didn’t have access, they did give me the number to Tim’s, he was friendly and helped me quickly. I didn’t have to wait forever for him to get her and within 2 mins of his arrival he quickly opened up my car. Thank you!

Tim worked on our Mazda SUV a while back and put a remanufactured alternator on it which was fine. He then told us that all the other repairs would cost more than the car was worth and recommended that we just take it to Walmart to have the oil changed, okay no problem. A couple days after bringing the car home, we were having the exact same issues. My mother in law took the car to a different mechanic who suggested that we ask where the alternator came from to see if we could return it and get refunded. She called Tim and asked him if he would tell her where he got the alternator and he went insane and cussed her up one way and down the other. Wouldn’t recommend him at all, money down the drain and cussed out in the process. Super unprofessional. * I forgot to add he threatened to have her arrested for slander lmbo. For asking where he got the alternator. Real class act.

I took my mother to pick up her truck, which Tim had for 2 months. Now, being as there was weather she expected delays but when we arrived he demanded (vulgarly) we pay him for an incomplete job. Told my 51 year old mother, that he “didn’t like dealing with women cause they always screw him over”. He began to yell and swear so I called the police to calm the situation. They apparently knew exactly who he was and said they’ve been here several times over the same thing. Essentially whether this guy can work on vehicles or not, the amount of disrespect displayed and sexism is unacceptable and will be reported.

Tims was very polite and professional and went out of his way to help us out and get us home safely.

Was on 27 this man in a big row back ran me and several others out of the road I had a baby in my car he is very dangerious and has a bad attitude hope the cops get him a ticut at least he dont care about anyones life

I was out of town and had a belt tensioner pulley going out. I didn’t have any tools with me for this easy fix and every garage I called was at least two days out. I called Tim and he was there within 20 minutes and had it fixed within 20 more: price was fair for the service and would use again.

Entire wheel off our boat trailer came off, he not only towed the boat and trailer, he put the new axle on, all within the same day. Thanks for the help!!!

Tim is the go to guy when you need something done for sure. This guy stays at it and dedicated from what I seen. This guy has a extra few minutes he do his best.. he gets good business seems like with towing and this guy stays busy and if he has a extra hour to try do a job task he there to help and not the guy that make a excuse... You do not see many old school mechanics meaning available when your in tough situation and trying to help someone out. I call that old school..... your in a spot and need something to be looked at or repaired in short notice I am sure he do all he can to help you out. The man put a fuel tank on and got me on my way. I would do business again.... 5 stars all day long from his work ethic and being dependable when you need something done. I would do business again

Upon arrival to pick up a truck, Tim came running down his driveway cursing and swearing at me, telling me I’m instigating an argument, when all I’m doing is attempting to pick a vehicle up he didn’t even repair. Do not go to this joker

Tim responded quickly when I called and had my car running within an hour. Rather than tow the car and fix it at his garage, where he could’ve charged me a tow fee plus the mechanic fees, he fixed it where it sat since it was a quick fix.

This man is an angel! He came out to the Walmart where we were parked and fixed our alternator on our F-350 in record time. Then the next day we had a problem with the pig tail on our travel trailer and he and his dad came out to where we were cramped and fixed that also. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and cleans up afterward. His prices were very reasonable and he and his dad were both enjoyable to talk to. I would recommend Tim to anyone who is in a bad situation with a mechanical issue. He really did very well by us.

I bought a cheap used car 2 hours away from somerset and it broke down on the way home 30 minutes away qt about 2am and not one tow shop would come out that far from somerset or answer that late or run trucks that late but tim he is by far the only tow service you can count on

We were stuck with no tools and no way to get a starter for our truck and we didnt know anyone around. We made one phone call to Tims and he had a used starter he brought it to us in under 5 minutes and the tools. He had it on in no time and was super cheap! We wouldnt recommend anyone else. Wonderful service and great guy.

We had a spot of bad luck one day just passing through Kentucky but Tim came through for us in a pinch. I can’t say enough about this guy. He came right out when I called him and was very helpful. He is a super knowledgeable mechanic. Very helpful the entire time and didn’t leave until we were back on the road. I would recommend Tim to anyone passing through the area and needing assistance.

Tim was awesome! I was in a time crunch to get my car fixed and Tim had repaired a day early on very short notice. His rates compared to other mechanics were extremely fair. I would recommend him to anyone that asks and will continue to call him for my auto repair needs.

A couple weeks ago I had my brake hose replaced on my sedan, yesterday and today I had a whole brake line and hose replaced on my RV. He was upfront and honest. Job was done in a timely manner and at a good low rate compared to other places around here. And the best thing, I didnt have to tow my vehicle because he is mobile. Will do business again.

Tim is a last of a dying breed. In the miiddle of a severe thunder storm on a Saturday evening with no other towing trucks available he was the only one willing to tow our car for a reasonable price and offer to fix our problem. Towing truck seemed a lil sketch at 1st but trust me shes a beast. Upon arriving to his business I realized the power had been out for a few minutes there and Tim was still doing everything he could assure us a safe ride after leaving his lot. I definitely recommend him over any other Towing company in the Somerset area.

Exceptional customer service. Dropped the gas tank from our Dodge Ram right where we broke down, replaced the fuel pump and even had ice cold water for us. Great guy, reasonable price and excellent job. Highly recomed him!

There isnt enough space to share the experience and frankly, if it was shared in full detail it would sound unbelievable from a business and a business owner. The amount of stress and extra expense this business has caused, is unmeasured.
