The new manager Rhiannon is incredible! Shes very resourceful and treats her staff and clients with such compassion and patience. Its refreshing to be hear how she deals with clients and staff. She always has a compassionate approach and a fair resolution to disputes. The franchise owner Robert is also so patient and works through transition very well. The other therapists are so talented and jump on board to help new therapists acclimate. I feel the pay scale is fair and straight forward and the owner always put peoples needs first. Its much cleaner than other places Ive worked. Ive had experiences with two other similar local massage franchises in Encinitas that were so poorly managed and operated that I dreaded going to work, but I always did for my clients. So, I really want to say that Massage Envy Solana Beach is the best place Ive ever worked in my massage career thus far. I finally found my work family and I love the clients and my colleagues very much. I literally feel like its home. And Im so grateful and blessed to be there.

I must say I am QUITE impressed with this Massage Envy. Gina was so helpful and accommodating.Today I had three hours set aside for massage, a special treat.Maurice is a one of a kind massage therapist whose hands I feel must be Hawaiian because they radiate so much peace and happiness. The massage from him today was therapeutic, soothing and incredibly effective. But also it was more; in the form of pure Art, it was inspirational. When art connects us to a greater sense of humanity, extraordinary is possible.Maurices massage was indeed extraordinary. Then during my second massage, massage therapist Brad, knowledgeably took the time to really dig into fine details of my hands and feet. No easy task, as those are tiny areas of the body and can be tiring I am certain. He did an excellent job! And his understanding of anatomy was obvious.I feel so much better after these massages. I am grateful I went.

This has got to be the best massage envy ever. Rhiannon is one of the best managers Ive met. Front desk staff are on top of their game.

Made multiple appointments for massages for my girlfriend and I which were cancelled at the last minute. One of the receptionists, now gone thankfully, said Im not going to feel bad about it. I wasnt asking you to feel bad, just maybe show some respect for ruining our date night. In the other case the manager tried to put it on me that I was not understanding that someone called in sick - staffing your business or finding coverage is not my problem. If it was the first time, sure whatever but its part of a pattern. But thats typical of Massage Envy; they create the problem then put it on you to either accept or resolve yourself. We had already cancelled our membership for repeated problems. At this point want nothing to do with them and just want to get credited back for the massages that we already paid for but cant use due to repeated cancellation. Is that easy? Of course not. Is that too much to ask? Of course. Avoid Massage Envy.

My daughter and I went to this location to use up credits I had. You would think there is no such thing as a bad massage, but there is, and Massage Envy Solana Beach is where it happened. I had the unfortunate luck to have Tim and it was literally the worst massage I have ever had. Tim gave off a super creepy vibe, which was bad enough, but he isnt a good masseuse either! It was a total mess trying to use my credits from the UTC location (they closed), despite the girl who made my appointment telling me that it would be no problem. They finally got it squared away but it took time before AND after the massage to sort it all out. I had to have the manager called to make it all work out. Not a fun way to start or finish what should have been a relaxing appointment.

Their opener forgot to open so they canceled an appointment I set up the night before for my mom. They didnt bother to call me or do anything to remedy the situation. Just a real bad experience overall. Ill go out of my way to avoid Massage Envy in the future.
