Came in for a check engine light check and had some information reaffirmed as well as information on something new that was also related to my issue. They were great on all accounts as far as the diagnostic went. They also replaced my passenger window regulator and the window works great now, fast turn around too considering they were getting ready to take a long weekend for their new locations opening and had a limited window to get the parts delivered and installed. Very happy with my experience here, and I hate taking my vehicles to mechanics typically! I would bring my vehicles here again though and suggest them to anyone who could use their help and expertise

They did a fantastic job! Towed my truck in and drove my truck back home. They tuned up my carburetor and fixed my major brake problems. Called on a Friday and had an appointment that next Monday. On my way home from camping my transmission went out on the highway, my roadside assistance asked if I wanted recommendations for authorized repair services and the closet was Daltons Midway. I was, at the time, unfamiliar with their work, but the reviews were really good. My truck was towed into their shop and the next morning Dana gave me a call to discuss what occurred, etc.; they determined what I already suspected. Dana had already called around for rebuilt transmissions; he went with someone their shop has worked with and has a good relationship with. I approved the work and also asked if they could look at some other things another shop said I needed to have done. Dana said the tech those items are not needed yet (will be eventually). Dana was my point of contact throughout, he communicated/updated frequently and was professional. If they werent three hours away from my house I would use them for ongoing maintenance. Theyre service was great!

A coolant hose came detached while I was driving home. I had it towed to their shop in the afternoon. They were able to order the part I needed, figured out why it happened, fixed that as well and had my bar back to me early the next day. They stayed in touch the whole time and showed me the broken parts they replaced when I picked my car up. Over all they were very professional. I will definitely use them again if anything happens to my car.

These guys are solid gold. They don’t talk down to you, they’re honest, they’re quick, and they take SUCH good care of my old car. They’ve saved me two summers in a row for a stupidly reasonable price and it gives me peace of mind to know that Dana and Bruce are standing by in case my car has a problem. Basically, cars are stressful and expensive, and these guys make it WAY less stressful and manageable financially.

My A/C was making a lot of noise and I thought my compressor was going out and was prepared for a very expensive repair. They quickly diagnosed that the problem was simply a bad idler pulley and they had it fixed on a couple hours. Incredible service!

Daltons Midway fixed my tpms. They broke it when I was in for a rim, replaced it with something not compatible, when I went in after a negative review, they finally got it right. I appreciate that they follow up with clients to help solve pending issues. Would have been a 5 star except there was an employee who was talking in a derogatory manner about another customer when they stepped out of the office. They fixed my car but I wont be going back.

I was previously bringing my car here for regular oil changes, but not for quite some time as my boyfriend is a mechanic with 25 years experience. (My bf kept putting off my oil change so I brought it in to just get it done) This last time, I was told my brakes and rotors needed to be replaced, the pads were down to 2mm, for a cost of about $900. I politely declined. After saying “not at this time” twice, he replied “so you’re going to chance it huh?” My pads are at 4mm, just saw them measured with my own eyes. Sadly, I’ve lost all faith in this business. Disappointing, as I trusted this local mechanic. I don’t doubt the great reviews they have received as I would have given them 5 stars prior to this. I could’ve continually been an unknowing “happy” customer for years had I not had someone trustworthy and knowledgeable to be honest with me.Response to owner:This is precisely why I posted my review as I was appalled and told (I don’t know the law) that it is possibly illegal to use such tactics, and most important to me, very unsettling. I was paranoid about my brakes every time I drove after that, even knowing they were ok for a bit. I would never publicly lie about this and even thought long about posting a review at all. Daltons Midway has some of the best service, even better than the dealership. Had a check suspension light come on my Lincoln Navigator, decided I should take it to the Ford dealership to have it worked on. After receiving a 2500$ estimate, to replace air ride suspension with conversation kit or replace my air compressor and pump 1500$, I decided to have a 2nd opinion. Took the car to Daltons Midway way and with a complete thorough inspection, it was discovered an o-ring split inside the compressor. O-ring replaced and compressor working fine, car back to riding for pennies on the dollar. I will always recommend Daltons Midway to anyone and everyone. Take your car to Daltons and know they are going to give you a detailed thorough work and NOT over charge/rip you off. Everyone is very knowledgeable and explain everything that is going on. My wife loves dropping the car and knowing she is not getting ripped off.

Terrible experience. Got a ton of work done because I was to busy to do it myself. And in the past 2 no thanks Ive had to replace ever single thing they did. On top of it, most bolts have been cross threaded or over tightened. Im never going back, and Im going to warn anyone that needs work done to avoid.

So lets talk automotive for a sec with my recent auto shop experience. The heater core went out in my Dakota. The interior has to be ripped out to replace. Calling around on quotes. Just starting out I was quoted $920-$1200 by shops in the area but one. Daltons Midway, whos initial quote was around $780 and no, they didnt know I knew someone who worked there. So I dropped the truck off, without warning, under the expectation that I wouldnt get it back for a week. Holy crap! 2.5 day turn around! And my final Bill? $939, for the fact that hoses had to be replaced, this is awesome and still better than the other quotes. I paid in cash, late picking the truck up. Josh, a worker there was so kind to keep the doors open for another 10 minutes for me. They even informed me of other possible issues with truck that wasnt part of their repair area. They will continue to get my business when shop needs arrive and I wouldnt recommend anyone to anyone else.

Went in for a tune up on my work truck with only 140000 miles and almost did make it home. Took it back then they said we needed to fix intake manifold. They fixed the intake and it barely made it home again. Took it back again then they said it was the distributor. We had it replaced because it was backfiring so bad I could only drive 5 mph. Took it back AGAIN because it starting backfiring again, they replaced the bad distributor and I took it home. With in 20 miles heading to work it overheated and told them they had to pay for the towing back to their shop. Thats when they told me the rod was knocking and the engine was toast. After going in for a tune up and fixing all the problems I didnt have going in for over $2000 we are now out of a work vehicle and in all our arguments with them we got zero reimbursement and they had the nerve to ask us to give them the truck for free. We could only sell the truck for the box for only a couple hundred which doesnt even help with the enormous bill they charged us. They are a horrible business and will charge you for everything down to the towels they use. Beware if you go there more will be wrong than what you came in for and dont expect their work to be warrantied at all. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!! Id give them -10 stars if possible.

Ive been going to Daltons for over 30 years. Local service recommended bylocal gear heads. Small, independent, fair pricing. Ive had my snow tireschanged over by them for years, much less than the big tire stores, in and outquickly. When Im there I see a mix of vehicles, old and new. Nice to see a shop wherethey know how to troubleshoot and not just swap parts. So much betterthan an expensive dealership especially if your car is out of warranty. This isone independent shop you should try if youre out of warranty, itll save you a lot of money and time.When SR9 was widened at 180th the state tore down their original building... bummer... butI was very relieved to learn they moved two lights north at 164th and SR9.Their new location is so much easier to get in and out of. Across from the old berrybowl if you have lived around there long enough to remember that! Easy parking (with a view!),nice location, safe egress. The county limits signage so its noteasy to spot them, theyre on the northwest side of the corner.Seems like the county does everything possible to hurt small businesses in our area.While waiting you can wait in a clean waiting room, or you can walk across thestreet to eat, shop western, or shop for hardware. Midway Service also sells andinstalls AMSOIL synthetic lubricants, engine, transmission, axles or transfer case,all to 100% proven synthetic! And they do custom exhaust work, and I was surprised to learnthey actually work on differentials and axles, or a carburetor! They wont rebuild an engineor transmission, but they will swap them with professionally rebuilt units.They know cars and trucks. Its so nice being able to talk to an actual mechanic andget an idea of what is needed. Support your local mechanic. Shop around, get quotesand then talk with these folks, they want a chance to make you a regular. Ive known the ownerand some of the mechanics there for a long time, its good to know I can recommend this place to friendsand not worry about them being ripped off or mistreated. If you should have a problem, talkto them, give them a chance. Getting a car repaired can be stressful, expensive and frustrating.Sometimes there can be multiple problems that arent realized until you get in there, but thatstrue if youre at a dealer or an independent... Id rather take a really complex problem to an independentlike Daltons because I know itll end up costing a lot less and theyll make it right.
