We used this Uhaul location recently for a move. We rented the 26 uhaul truck & we only needed to make one trip as it held so much. We were moving just across town to Monroe from a 3 bedroom to a 4 bedroom. I was nervous due to reading some of the reviews, but it was truly a breeze. There was no extra equipment in the truck (as we hadnt ordered any extra equipment) taking up valuable space. We checked the mileage before leaving & when we returned the truck they charged us the correct amount.
Worse worse worse customer service, wow, the Africab American guy with curly hair learn some manners. Wish I could give this guys 0 starts
This customer service experience was terrible. The staff interactions were the worse I think I’ve every experienced in any industry. There was an obvious lack of desire to provide any shred of customer service.When I arrived for my 10a scheduled pickup there were 4-5 employees in the parking lot casually roaming. Upon entering the building there was one person checking in patrons. 40 minutes later DJ the apparent manager who’d strolled through twice during the 40 minute wait decided to begin checking in guest. During the checkin process he asked for my licenses which was on the counter. He then says “where is my phone? I need to take a picture of you license. “ To which I asked “with you personal cell?” He replied “sure so I can upload it.” To which I replied “I’m not comfortable with you using your personal cell to photograph my ID. Is that your policy?” To which he replied “yes!” I find this pretty hard to believe, so insisted he provide another method. He then with what appeared to be one mouse click send a text so I could upload it securely from my own phone. No doubt this is the preferred method. In frustration he walked away to assist someone else. Funny he made no attempt to multitask before then. After I summoned him back to complete my transaction he went on the read the terms of my agreement to me. Now 1050 he wanted to start my rental at 10a my original scheduled time. I insisted that it should start at 11 the time that I actually might have possession of the truck. He seemed offended by my objections, but made the change as I asked. He then gave me my contract with no directions to locate the truck at all just another text to examine the vehicle for damage.Upon arriving to my home I noticed that the dolly that I leased was not in the truck. I called to seek a solution. I was told to drive me personal vehicle back at my expense to get it back or if I used the truck I’d be responsible for the mileage. I argued that was totally unacceptable that I pay for their mistake in any capacity. She placed me on hold. She returned with a message from the manager that he’d credit the miles but the fuel was my responsibility.I just want to say that this experience was terrible. There is clearly no value for customer service at this site. I plan to rate this experience on every social media platform that I can find. In addition the Gwinnett county community website. I hope that this review will inspire a closer review from corporate. Surely this is not an isolated incident.
If i could give 0 stars, i would. Afif Jaber, buddy in charge at Snellville Uhaul off 124, was rude to customers and his workers. He was unconsistent with his word and he was a heckler over everything. This is uhaul not the airport bud. Also i moved a couple counties over and wanted to drop it off out there but Afif made my contract local meaning i had to bring it back where specifically i dropped it off. Crazy right? Especially not knowing this till i drove 25 miles out of the way and then rejected for drop off. Crazier right? Just wait...then i get to where im supposed to, another 25 miles, and i get charged for all the miles and had to go up the atreet to put 2.50$ in gas tank. I will carry my house by hand before i rent from them again. Terrible.
When the hitch i ordered had not arrived in time for install, Marco took it upon himself to drive 2 hours round trip to pick up the hitch himself and install it. I couldnt be happier with the service. These guys know how to make it happen! I would recommend them to anyone!

Very rude customer service horrible. Focusing on to many other things beside the customer in front of them. Treated minorities like second class citizens.
Faulty wiring they put in my vehicle for a trailer hitch caused a $700 part to go out and theyre saying that theyre not liable for that so theyre lucky to get to stars and thats only because of the two managers there Jermaine and one other guy

The General manager was very rude and impatient with us when he made us wait 2 HOURS for any service at all. We were literally standing in line with no one at the registers or in sight. Will never go here again.
Looking for small truck, van or cargo with small truck an cargo outside store, attendant stated only had one way rentals. Call so you dont wait 30 minutes in line to be told no we dont have that for local rental.
Extremely rude general manager. First in line, last to get served. Over 15 minutes for a checkin.
