Made an appointment for hair cut and style. I get there and am told by the stylist she doesnt cut hair.

I saw Brittani and she was fantastic. She listened and did exactly what I asked her to do for my cut. I like it and plan to see her again.

My stylist name is Miss Tahese. She has that Touch, to make you feel like your stress is relieved from the time youre in her care. She educates you on what you should and probably should not do to your hair. She encourages truly Healthy hair....Im newly natural, but my four daughters have always been natural. She has been doing my familys hair for 13+ years. She has been such a blessing to us.

Stylist Tahese has no customer service. Shes rude and had me waiting over 1 hour as a walk in but took clients that came in after me because she said they had an appointment. My understanding is that Smart style do not take appointment, its a first come first serve salon. I pay not only for my style, but the customer service provided. It appears if you are not HER regular customers, she will cast YOU to the side.

I wanted quite a bit of length taken off and was pleased to find a stylist that listened.. however, she bragged about having a 6.5 minute haircut. The reason it didnt take her long is because she literally just combed my hair out and cut it off. She didnt blend it, she did no texturing. I walked out of there, having tipped her for her time and everything to look like I just got out of grandmas kitchen chair from getting a bowl cut. Ill never go back here.

I’m a Novi SmartStyle customer for almost 2 yrs. Therefore, I visited this location expecting the same great service. However, I was not satisfied. I get a shampoo Press and style with the marcel irons. The stylist used all electric appliances on my hair. Regardless of how many times I repeated my request, she had an excuse. How in the flying flip flop can you complete cosmo school and not know how to use oven heat-based tools. My hair was hard but I was charged $62.37 for a crunchy puffy silk out. Please tell me why you flat iron a roller set. Check the books for January, note who was working and send my refund as well as the lady who checked out prior to me. If you as a black person are afraid of mar el irons and a pressing combs, please get out of the business. I will not return to this location for anything not even product.

Do not go here if u want a blonde root touch up or blonde. I had highlights that grew out and asked for a blonde touch up the lady bleached my hair and it was orange and then did something to fix it and it was still orange. My hair is orange and then my highlights of brown and blonde. I will be calling coroportate because what ever see did I can’t fix my hair now. I want to a new salon to toner it and fix it and they cannot so my hair is completely messed up. My hair is ruined I went to a place to pay money to get something done and it’s ruined!! Completely unprofessional if you can’t do the job just say no. I got a refund but that’s not enough how can you mess up somebody’s hair that bad. Do not go here i’ve never had such a bad hair color in my life.

Stylist couldnt do what is a simple cut elsewhere.
