I was lucky to have the owner polish my nails on my first visit. Amazing job!! Its a nice place. I enjoyed my pedicure.
This review is long overdue. I absolutely love Maria, I was seeing her for gel mani & pedi faithfully, but the owner is very rude and the overall customer service and demeanor when you walk into the nail salon is piss poor and not welcoming. I’ve had my nails done by the owner and had to come back to have my nails re done. She was polite during the service, but when I came back and requested Maria thereafter, the owner stopped speaking and was just rude. I even spoke to Maria about it and she stated that she receives complaints all the time about the owner’s attitude. Ultimately I would’ve loved to continue coming to Maria b/c she’s great, but I could no longer keep coming and giving my money to a business with horrible vibes and lack luster customer service. I’ve taken my money & my business elsewhere.
I made a 4:30 appointment. I came a few minutes earlier to soak off my nails. I asked if I could start soaking off my nails and the lady said no one is ready. So I said, “ soaking off my nails takes a while so I would like to get Started now.” The receptionist asked if I wanted to come another day knowing that I specifically made a 4:30 appointment for today. So I left to go to a professional nails salon.Piss poor customer service. I won’t be back. No wonder they are empty. I left and and immediately receive service across the street at Pro Nails. Go where you and your money will be valued.

I love a place that is CONSISTENT! My favorite place to get my nails done. Highly recommend making an appointment ahead of time. The owner is very sweet and is often in there working as well. Very clean and has been around for a while.
Had a Mani/Pedi this evening by my favorite nail tech, Savon. I had to wait a little bit however she rescheduled my appointment for me today when I was running behind schedule at the bowling alley. She fast, efficient and a pleasure to interact with. Today I went with the Hello Kitty line, my color is called Hello Pretty. This is a great place to get your nails done.

I walked in about a week ago wanting to get sns manicure. Right when I walk in a black lady asked if they could help me. I told her about the sns. She very harshly said the person that does it isnt here! I was standing there waiting on some other response...when that person would be back...if there was anything else she could of helped me with...ANYTHING. It was like a shoo away! I turn to walk away and she then says, Anyway... talking to the girl whos nails she was doing. Im sorry I inconvenienced you...AT WORK! I will never return!
The owner filed my nails below the nail bed. She filed nails smaller than your natural nails. Disappointed
This is my top pick of places to go to get my nails done and eyebrows waxed. Very clean, everyone knows their area of expertise extremely well. My only negative feedback is that it’s not a genuinely welcoming place. It feels like the employees are walking on egg shells at all times. Otherwise, I’m always pleased with my results, fair price, wait time is never too long, etc.

I saw a message saying the owner is not good with customer service or lacks people skills and I beg to differ. Ive had several events there and she was always very cordial and sweet. Very helpful and willing to work with me on every aspect of my events. She provides such a clean and pretty environment and has a very professional staff. My nails as well as my friends were perfect and I enjoyed the upscale environment.
I brought my daughter her today for the first time. We had an excellent experience start to finish. My daughter was excited but nervous as it was her first time getting nails. Kathy was delightful! She put her at ease and did a wonderful job. We are both so very pleased. I will definitely return and recommend.
The pedicure itself was good, but the customer service is terrible. I showed up on time for my appointment and was seated at a pedicure station. I sat there for almost 25 minutes with no service and no one even letting me know if Id be taken care of soon. During that time, three women came in who had appointments the same time as me; they were all greeted by first name and immediately seated and taken care of. I suppose regulars get great service, but dont expect that same service if this is your first time at this location. Great way to lose potential regulars, Polished.
I was late for my appointment, yet was provided immediate attention. Nail tech was knowledgable and took great care in his application of my gel manicure. I highly recommend this salon. I will become a regular.
Trash. I was shooed away by the owner. She was so nonchalant and clearly did not want to help me. 2 days prior I got my nails done elsewhere and broke a nail so I knew it was a long shot if they had the same product. I was on a very serious time crunch and walked in to see if they could be of any help. Rather than show me what SNS colors she had she looked at me very disrespectfully and told me she didn’t have my color. A Barbie pink. Who doesn’t have that? But she did absolutely nothing. Had no compassion and offered no solution to even try and help me. I do not recommend this business and think you can spend your money elsewhere and get quality service and results.

Ive only ever loved one other nail salon this much. But this one just so happens to be in my neighborhood so it takes the cake. I would recommend that you set an appointment before going because they can be busy at times and if you happen not to have one youre screwed. I almost lost my love for the place because of a situation where I didnt have an appointment and the way that an employee handled the situation. But decided to not let one bad apple ruin my experience. My brows, hands, and feet have been thanking me ever since. 😊

I was very impressed with my first experience at Polished. I made the reservations online, and was emailed a response within a few hours. I showed up on time for my appointment, and was greeted warmly and led to my chair with no wait. I was most impressed by the cleanliness of the shop; having had some issues in the past with shops that didnt property sterilize equipment, Polished was a breath of fresh air. I had a great pedicure (Island Goddess) and a basic manicure. Both were very well done, and I loved that the manicurist was very gentle with my fingernails as Ive only recently grown out my nails from a disastrous allergic reaction. This was the first salon Ive been to since the summer, and I will definitely go back again. Its a little pricier than some, but for the convenience, professional work and cleanliness its worth every penny!
Terrible customer service!!!!! I had been to this location a few years ago, and I had promised myself to never go back due to the horrible customer service I had received. However, last weekend, I was in a time crunch and needed quick service so I went again because it is very conveniently located for me. I also figured that maybe they had improved their customer service. Not in the least!!! Everyone, especially the lady who does the eyebrow threading, treats you like THEY are doing YOU a favor when you bring your business to this place. Never will I come back!! With so many nail salons around, I would rather drive to another one than come to this place again.
Ive been going to Polished since it opened. I wont go anywhere else. Everyone is great, the place is impeccably clean and they do amazing work.
I’ve been here a couple of times, nails turned out fine, customer service though was terrible! Most recently, I called on a Friday to make a Saturday appointment. Given potential weather conditions I asked if they were even going to be open. They said yes and took my appointment. I showed up for my appointment and they were closed. No call. No updates. No voicemail saying they’d be closed. I showed up again an hour later, with one employee in, on the phone with someone (not a customer). She was rude in saying that they were closed and didn’t know when or if they’d open. Upon suggesting they call customers who had appointments to make them aware before they come in, she was once again rude and offered nothing but excuses.
The owner is very sweet and personable. Mariya gives great gel manicures and the threading is perfection.
My past visits were pleasant when I lived in the community. I recently moved back and wanted to continue to come here bc its so convenient . Earlier this year I went in and I had to wait +30 mins while what appeared to be the manager and an employee played a board game. They were nonchalant and seemed bothered that I came in. I waited on someone who already had a client. He did a great job but seemed rush. Will not be back. I now travel to downtown Atlanta to get my nails done. Its unfortunate but worth it.

This is the only place I trust to do my nails and my brows...I love Pinky and Cindy they always take great care of me (So does Michael and Teresa !) My brow threading lasts forever and they are perfection EVERY time. I love that its owned by a woman of color and the staff is SO diverse!
I called ahead to set an appointment for a pink and white full set and drove 40 minutes to get there. Once I got there I was then told that they didnt have time to do a full set and could only do a pink and white gel polish and a fill which is $10 more than the full set that I wanted and would cost more to get redone every time. After I tried to complain to the owner they miraculously had a cancellation and could service me. IT GETS WORSE!!!! The lady did my nails so thin that they didnt even last 1 day...one of my tips popped right off then the next day another one broke so I had to go back again to get them fixed and they made me wait FOREVER even though I once again called ahead and set an appointment. I will not be returning because I feel as though I wasted $40. They also serviced 2 other customers that walked in after me before me
1st time there, Savon was my nail tech and also got eye brows done. It was a nice establishment and all we friendly, prices were reasonable.
I am giving this place 2 stars and thats being generous because the actual quality of work is good. Risa and many of the technicians (excluding Pinky) are pleasant and very skilled. The problems arise once you’re at the counter. My issues almost always culminate with the lady that does the eyebrow threading. There is this matter-of-factly tone as if she’s somehow doing you (the paying customer) a favor.One time I booked an appointment and recorded it in my calendar and when I arrived there for my appointment I was told that I wasnt in the book. The lady said that she could see where my name had been penciled in, but was erased. HUH? I was asked if I had telephoned in and cancelled. I had not. Well no apology, no nothing. They offered to fit me in with the first available technician and I waited two hours to get only 1/2 of the service I requested. Lastly the loyalty program is a joke. There are so many terms and conditions to use the discount that it’s not worth the trouble. Whats sad is on average I spend $98 per visit for services ($1,176 annualized) and that doesn’t include gratuity. Polished objected to honoring my $20 discount that took me 3 years (I know right) to accrue because I failed to disclose that I was using my discount at the time I scheduled the services. I really would like to support this women-owned business but to be treated poorly when I’m attempting to treat myself is counterproductive. I will be taking my $$$ someplace where my patronage is valued.
The customer service is terrible! One lady cut my finger from carelessly filling to fast and then walked away to help another customer. My nails were filed unevenly and my gel manicure began chipping and peeling 2 days after I got it. My toes also didnt dry and got messed up after I allowed 16+ hours of drying time. Went for a special occasion with my mom and to prep my my nails for my engagement. I was sorely disappointed.

This nail place seems so nice from the decor, but the staff is very rude and they have terrible customer service! Also, although there were not many customers there, the staff gave the impression that they were much too busy and I must come back later. Don’t waste your time, go somewhere else!
So cute and so pretty and our nails look fabulous. + they do eyebrows = extra bonus. I had a girls day with my daughter and last minute we decided to get our nails done together- and they accommodated us right away and were super friendly + a great selection of nail polishes. The design of the beauty bar is so sweet and dreamy too. The only thing I would say to up their anti a little bit is if the tops that each of the technicians wear could match the decor more - that would be an extra bonus - they are this odd medical green, and the salon is a sweet 16 pink with high gloss white. either a white top with names in hot pink or a light pink top with names in a darker pink would look fab. & it would be super if even the front desk person was wearing this too.- just makes it feel put together, which is why we are going in- to feel more put together via a mani, pedi & eyebrow thread. (technicians reflecting what we the clients want to feel - put together, relaxed etc.) Also, though the interior design is super cute- I hope it is kept up ... which is so important. I would highly recommend this beauty bar. relaxing, sweet, great work. I just had to say a few words to explain what I wanted and vohlah... it was done. = perfect.
Probably one of the worst nails salons I have ever been to! Its very clean I will say that but the customer service sucks and so do the quality of my nails. I just moved to West Village and thought oh how wonderful there is a nice nail shops that I can walk to on my day offs anyways....well I always get SnS nails which have always lasted which have always lasted for usually 3 weeks or longer (at my old nail salon) well here it only lasted a days couple before it chipped....weird the guy rushed that did it the first time so I I went back the day it chipped to have a girl redo most of my nailsj and then glued my nail to my skin and then jabbed her nail to try and separate the two I literally screamed bc it hurt so bad. Well my finger was swollen for 3 days and I couldnt barely move it without it nhurting.... so here I am back again as I am writing this because my nail that got redone chipped again I would think that I was doing manual labor or something haha anyways I ask to speak to the manager just for her to look up and with an attitude tell me she doesnt have time to speak with me she is with a client, which is fine but she could have definitely been more polite about it!
How to lose a loyal customer? Waste their time.I very specifically asked if they were opening on December 26th because i had a photo shoot on the 27th and they said yes. I show up on the 26th and there is a paper note on the door saying they are closed.Ok whatever, photo shoot is at 1pm, sign says they open at 10:30, i can squeeze it in. So i come on the 27th right at 10:30 when they open and they tell me and everyone waiting that the techs come in at 11am today. How unprofessional. The lady didn’t care at all about anyone here and what the sign said. Rude, terrible customer service.
My gel manicure lasts for 4 weeks, Michael is THE BEST EVER
Very discrimitive salon. Called on more than one occassion about employment. Everytime the response yes we are hiring. But when arriving to location was told no they werent. Called again just be sure received another yes, but again when arriving was told No. More than qualified. Just looking for a location close to home. I guess the met their legal standard as far as hiring black nail techs.

I made an appointment for my wife to treat herself for a manicure and pedicure. We have a 3 month old and this was the first time she could get out and get her nails done. She was there 2 hours and had her toes done but they didn’t do her finger nails. They made multiple excuses after multiple delays and the reason she left is because she had to breast feed our child. Disappointed to say the least. We love to support local, but with an appointment and 2 hours of waiting she still didn’t receive service was upsetting.
