This was an absolute nightmare of an experience! I was told my co-pay would be $30 per session. When I contacted them to find out why I have not received an invoice they got back to me with an invoice of $323 for three sessions! They said they didn’t know who told me that would be my co-pay. The two appointments I had were 20 minutes, as my counselor was five minutes late to the appointment and had to leave five minutes early for her next appointment. 20 minute sessions adding up to $323. Horrific experience. Not to mention the counselor was completely inexperienced and offered no suggestions whatsoever!!!
EVERYONE at Sabin Behavioral Health are wonderful, they are polite, caring, respectful and patient. Through my years of trying to find a therapist i was comfortable with i NEVER found a practice like Sabin. I have nothing but good things to say about them and if you want to go to a therapist that is truely going to help you and care Sabin is the place to go. They just understand here and take there job serious and that is what i love the most.
I do not recommend supporting this place of business. Although there are good clinicians at this practice, the way it is run is not supportive to the staff or the clients. I understand the unhealthy dynamics of this workplace and would not support the way they overworks their employees, do not value self-care or balances in life, and expect others to just serve them and their needs regardless of how burnt out the clinicians are.
I have never had a bad expierence with anybody in this office and I have been there at least once a week for almost 2 years. I get a call to verify and remind me of my appointments each week. If there is a cancellation, I am called again to reschedule. The front desk people are absolutely lovely and my counselor has helped me through a lot. I am happy everyday with choosing this facility and meeting and Jessica.
Was finally excited about finding help. Was told that they had a therapist that was a good choice to help me after I completed initial interview. Therapist canceled our first appointment. I had to cancel our next appointment due to working last minute overtime. I made the appointment on this past Monday. Therapist informed me she was just there to do a referral. I found the therapist to be very non professional. She needs to learn how to dress appropriately for an office environment. She is dealing with several teen age young men as well as other men. Patients do not need additional distractions. It is hard enough to share information. I did not receive any help and have over a month of suffering and find myself back at square one. Please choose a better provider. I do not understand how they could respond to my review before reviewing the specifics of my case.
Just dont bother.Been trying to get in for 3 months I get a Run around. The people are extremely rude and gave me a hard time about rescheduling an appointment. They absolutely REFUSE to see anyone who doesnt have 2 phone numbers and an email. My situation isnt so complicated that I cant make an appointment. The 2nd appointment I had was supposed tole rescheduled and wasnt so I show up and they let me know there is a no show fee and still giving me a run around about simply rescheduling. Its really not complicated. They also dont have any actual psychiatrists.Way to treat mental health patients. Piss em off and act like there is no wrong doing not even an apology of any kind. Not even one to appease the situation.
I started going here earlier in the year but stopped due to the inability to get back and forth. I’m having troubles again and I’m about to start going here again. It makes me feel comfortable.
I had a great experience with everyone in the office.
Absolutely one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctors office. Do you enjoy getting charged for multiple pointless appointments? How about taking over a month to schedule your second appointment? How about taking 3 months to get back an incomplete diagnosis. Then blames me for not completing the packet. When they had me sit out there for 3 hours filling all of it out. I wouldnt trust this office to count to ten and back!
I called looking for a place to get medication for my ADD and my insurance company told me to contact Sabin to see Dr. Ward. The woman that answered the phone was very pleasant and told me that they do provide the service I was looking for but she gave me information that helped me find the services I was looking for. Ive had other experiences where doctors offices just tell you they cant help and leave you hanging. I really appreciated that she took the time to guide me in the right direction. Thank you.
Wow, that hasnt been my experiences there. I have always been welcomed and felt supported when I go to Sabin Behavior. I have a genetic condition that many people do not understand but everyone there seems to know about what it is and it makes it so much easier to talk about. When I first started there they told me that there are some issues that they cant handle and they refer people somewhere else, maybe that is what happened to you. I really like all of them and may therapist is awesome even when she makes me cry. My only criticism is that they are busy and the TV is always on Chicken run for some reason in the waiting room.
Very bad service. They are Not serious. They give appointment and later they sayNo we dont have your name in the system.Bad Bad place.I fill the application they have outside and the told me,we call you before the appointment to give you a link, but the never call so I call and the guy told me the name for my daughter not in the sistem.
I’ve received the best therapy here that I’ve ever had in 20 years. I love the staff and I feel incredibly safe here.
This is a 100% trustworthy & reliable team that is passionate about improving the lives of others.
Bad service and very unprofessional.. They don’t schedule appointments timely either.. good at answering phone.
We had an appointment for my son to see if he would need ADHD testing. We had a great experience and the counselor was wonderful.
Horrible place to take your kids. Missed an appointment for testing and they want me to pay $500 out of pocket for the missed appointment. That is absolutely ridiculous! They also never returned the 3 phonecalls I made to try to reschedule the appointment. Very unprofessional staff and their staff doesnt communicate with each other .I will never recommend them to anyone! Trying to help your child shouldnt be such a terrible process .
I visited Sabin Behavioral Health for an evaluation for my six year old daughter. After visiting to fill out paperwork (its a 45 minute one way drive for me), they scheduled an appointment. I had no idea that this was supposed to be a one-on-one appointment with myself and the evaluator since no one told me, so I brought my daughter with me. The person doing the appointment informed me that she had a background in psychology and she also was a licensed family therapist. Incredibly, this did not stop her from saying things like severe brain damage and you need to prepare yourself for the fact that she probably wont graduate high school on time IN FRONT OF MY CHILD. I was flabbergasted that she would have such a complete lack of tact or empathy as a person who was supposedly trained in those traits. She was basically very cold. Perhaps thats part of her job. She also acted like she knew a lot about children with my childs diagnosis and basically put her in the same category as all the others without having really spoken to her at all. Which was funny because she continuously mispronounced my daughters diagnosis throughout our meeting (its spinA bifida, not spinAL bifida). The other interesting thing is that this entire meeting lasted about 15 minutes and could have easily been done over the phone without me driving out there at all. At any rate, I remember seeing a sign or on some paperwork in this place that persons need to be prepared for uncomfortable information. Ive gotten lots of uncomfortable information about my child since shes permanently disabled. However, my six year old is obviously not emotionally prepared for such information and it was way out of line for her to say those things with my child in the room. Would I have been happier if they had told me to go home? Probably not because they never told me I should come alone in the first place. All in all, my husband and I will be choosing to go with another neuropsychologist instead. One that doesnt take our insurance. We would rather pay the $1k out of pocket than have to deal with disrespectful, unprofessional counselors.
Do not take your kids here! My sons therapist was unprofessional and rude to me and my child. Worst therapy experience Ive ever encountered.
I went here a few years ago for psych testing. I found everyone to be the right mix of professional and friendly. I didnt notice any cleavage, but I forget. I went there after a concussion, HAHA. I suppose you should cover in one-on-one settings.
Had a great experience with knowledgeable staff and the receptionist, Chris, was always helpful and kind. It helped me a lot.
Absolutely a thoughtless establishment
Unprofessional couldnt say worse
They never answer the phone.
Very bad place, they are missed up, dont recommend to send your kids over there.
