Slowest internet service Ive ever had. Internet goes out for days at a time. And the few times it decides to work it is as slows as a snail. Unfortunately, there arent many other internet providers so Im stuck with this trashy service.
The internet service went down frequently and if you disconnect 1 day into the new billing cycle theyll still charge you for a full month. Probably one of the worst companies out there for internet. Highly recommend staying away from them.

This place is far from efficient. The staff was nice enough, but it took way too long to do our business.
Very poor service. The cable TV keeps getting more pricey and dropping more channels. The internet is never close to possible speeds. I average about 25mbps and they say I can get up to 200mpbs. Very bad picture quality on connection no matter what TV I use. They tried to fix it a couple times and said they ran the cable too long and Im stuck with it. I recommend a better provider.
Great Customer Service even during Covid times 5 people in line in front of me and only had a short 5min wait and took less then 4min to turn in all my equipment
Worst company ever. Their service is the worst. The customer service is the worst. And they only care about sending you a bill. I do web design among other things and the hourly rate I make is interrupted when their service stops or they have “maintenance “. But they don’t tell anyone about the maintenance. And they refund $3/day if the service is out 4 or more hours. Really?!?!? Thanks for losing me money and still making your money Spectrum.
Took advantage of us, lied to us, cheated and tricked my family of four with no remorse. We were told one thing by the rep when we initially signed up. When we received our bill it was HUNDREDS of dollars more than we were told. Service was stopped, but we still continued to get charged. When contacted the rep stated that service was still being provided (no contract) even though we couldnt use it, so that is why we were charged. Additionally, there was $70 worth of charges that we didnt sign up for on our monthly bill (not taxes and recognizable fees). There are two educators and two students in this home who are all virtual during this time, and Spectrum has done bad, bad business with us. Shameful!
Great staff. Theyre very nice and professional, and the office looks great and clean. Werly was exceptionally great in assisting me with my new device. Very patient too, I changed my mind a lot lol 😂. Thank you!!!
Update: 7/11/2020 = Another 5 star experience....... I returned a receiver and received outstanding service from Sherri. As I was about to leave, she shared with me that Spectrum now offers unlimited cellphone plans with no pressure and invited me to stop by anytime for more info and/or service. Little did I know, I wound up having a conversation with Stephanie. She answered a ton of questions. She compared my phone to the benefits, features, size, weight, camera speed, rams, etc of the phones they have. She looked at my needs and budget and found the perfect phone for me. I didnt realized that I was speaking with someone who had over 13 yrs in the business. I happily purchased a new phone and will pay less for my monthly service. And no contract!! Spectrum/Charter Communications is a dishonest company that treats their customers poorly with terrible service and extremely high prices. Your bill will permanently increase often, the phone agents are not helpful and will constantly transfer you, and you will experience numerous internet outages with no reimbursement. Believe this and other poor reviews, and take your time and money elsewhere if you can.

Excellent and professional service. My modem was damaged during an electrical storm and had to be replaced. The Staff at the Spectrum store were very helpful. They made the process quick and painless. I left the store with a new modem and back on line in on time. Great Work!
At this location, the two women working inside were extremely rude. We explained we had spoken with a Mitch concerning our new account. And immediately the woman rudely said, And, we dont know a Mitch, havent seen a Mitch... They were condescending to say the least and extremely unprofessional.
Terrible customer service of course whenever I need something done the customer support dont have enough power to be able to assist especially with internet their is always something they cant do and always sending me in to the store
As usual our internet and tv service provider addressed our concerns as best as they could although with no satisfaction. We had to go elsewhere for resolution.
While their speeds and reliability are great, they only care about new customers.On May 19th, 2020, I reviewed the offers that Charter marketed to new customers and found that I could be getting the same internet that I am getting now for $10 cheaper. I called to discuss this offer. Charter’s rep stated that in order to get this offer that I would need to disconnect for 30 days and apply as a new customer. Then I went to their chat room for 2.5 hours only to be denied the better price.Instead of marketing for new customers who may or may not pay their bills on time, Spectrum might be better to focus on customer retention, especially for customers who pay their bills on time.
I had spectrum before were i used to leave the put at&t i was so happy to change and i have to move from there no choice to get spectrum again so disappointed wifi very slow it cut off often is like i have an antenna you can even see good the picture i can wait the at&t come this way to go with them spectrum is awful the worst
Once again disappointed in this company Charter Spectrum. Canceled my account and they charge you for the full month now...no proration. Terrible service to start and now at the end stick it to you as well. Thankfully there are much better options at my new place. Buyer beware...you want bad service and bad experience then go with this company.

Great customer service every time I called but doesnt translate to great service provider. Ive lost connection due to outages or planned maintenance at least 4 times in one month as a new customer. If the maintenance was planned as explained, why werent the customer notified via email or text in this day and age, especially coming from a communications company? Might switch back to AT&T as there are only 2 providers in the area.

This location had great customer service. The wait was a bit slow due to there only being 1 rep there on this particular morning. Other than that, I have no other complaints.
This is a review on our local Smyrna store, not the service. I just joined Spectrum after not having any kind of service in my home for over 10 years. (thats right). Werly took excellent care of me, was fast and very friendly/professional. Everyone in the store was friendly, even though the stress of social distancing policies was apparent (masks, # of people allowed in the store, etc.). Ive not had my install yet, but if I encounter anything good or bad, I will review Spectrum the company, not this local store. Just based on Werlys salesmanship, if I decide on further services from Spectrum, Im heading over to see him.
I stop there today. Too get new boxes for my Internet. And new IP address. There is someone who has my information and is using it too get my information. So I ask them too remove my boxes and put in new ones. I hope that solves my problem, with people tapping into my privy information. They was happy to help me and came right away.
The people are friendly but their service is awful - borderline unusable. No exaggeration. At least 10 service calls over 18 months and it still freezes all the time. I lose 10-25 seconds of voice EVERY MINUTE. 25 seconds, when there is only 25 seconds left in a close game, is a big problem. 25 seconds in a suspenseful show or movie makes it unwatchable.Either their people are incompetent (but friendly) or their communications infrastructure is held together with bandaids and chewing gum.If you have a choice don’t waste your money on Spectrum.

Location had number of customers it took time for stuff to work through them but it seems they were doing right thing for customers and not just wishing them to get easy and most expensive things. So I was happy to wait.

I picked up my WiFi equipment and the representative told me they were out of bags. It doesn’t look good giving out equipment with no bags to hold everything. I felt rushed like she was trying to get me in and out . I made it to the car to only realize she gave me equipment with no guide or setup instructions so I had to go back into the store and ask for something that should have been given to me from the start.

We got there when the store opened so there wasnt a line other than one other person. However with only one customer service attendant one person can cause a delay when they want to argue about service and price. The Spectrum employee was nice and pleasant.

My experience was this. A person named Janice (not sure of the spelling, no name tag) came to my door. I told her I was not interested. She was extremely persistent. I gave her my name. She then plugged the information into her tablet and proceeded to get more info and place an order without telling me anything about the package. I hadnt said I would take it. I said I needed time to process the information and would contact you if and when I decided to take the plan. I said I felt like I was being bulldozed into it. Then she got rude. Started laughing at me and bullied me, saying that shed already entered the information. I said no again. She shook her head, laughing and walked away. She heard no several times. I know that sales personnel are told not to take no for an answer. But do you ever think about how that makes people feel. Its like a date rape on the way. How many times can I say no and not get victimized? This is a really bad method of sales. I thought Id consider it, but frankly I will never do business with someone who makes me feel bad about myself, who makes me feel little for standing up for myself. Heres a thought before someone makes a 40 min drive on a Saturday how about change the store hours online to the correct time. Drove all the way from ball ground only to find this location closed at 1pm not the 5pm shown online!!!!
Terrible company, terrible practices, terrible customer service. The service is spotty, slow and disconnects often. The rates are far too high for what you get. Had there not been a requirement to use this service my apartment complex, I most certainly would have opted to go with someone else. I’m now being charged $70 for 9 days of service because of a policy that went into affect ONE day before I cancelled. I tried to transfer it to finish out the service, but it was not offered and no one had the decency to tell me I’d be charged in full regardless. I wouldn’t recommend these services to anyone! Even the cable is terrible and basic channels are often discontinued or cut off and you have to call multiple times to have them turned back on. Don’t wast your money!!!

The worst cable company in the country. Their own customer service phone number is not listed anywhere once I am logged in. I supposed Charter does not want their customers to call. Every time I had to call, there was an absurdly long wait to talk to someone. I had a package when I first became a customer, but the TV channel bundle comes with really few good choices.
The Charter internet service is as such good, but I had an horrible experience when returning the equipment. Returning the equipment is the easy part when disconnecting the service, but the person who took my returned equipment made the experience very bad.Not only he had proper information of my account balance, his reply was rude and harsh. I never felt that insulted in my life. As per the company reputation you guys should take right action, else any customer will think twice before getting new connections

Charter is the worse, and the service sucks.. My on demand never works.. The cable boxes are trash.. Time Warner has merge with spectrum and have great service and digital boxes, I dont understand why Charter spectrum dont have those boxes.. they need to get better service and better boxes..
What I am seeing with these reviews is rating the Spectrum service instead of the experience we have in the office. When I visit the office I always have a pleasant encounter with their employees. But I agree that the Spectrum Internet sucks big time. On the weekends I can barely watch my shows. I cant stream sometimes and I get interruptions when watching Netflix & Hulu. I would prefer more options. Our complex has sold their souls to AT&T and they are installing fiber optics. I think they may be causing trouble for other cable companies also. I wont be switching to AT&T either. Im trapped unfortunately until I can move.
The employees here are very nice and straight to the point. The internet was pretty good most days but not always. Also super overpriced. I paid over 200 dollars for cable and internet.

Ive been here at least 3 times and every time there was no line and pretty nice people working. Compared to a Comcast store, going here is great. And Im pretty satisfied with the service and pricing.

Worst cable service EVER. Cable is too expensive with limited channels. I cant even watch the televisions in my house because a box is needed on each one. The Internet is horrible, always disconnecting. The only thing halfway worthwhile is the phone service. They have us by the balls because they have monopolized the area where I live.

I have never been to the store, this is for your customer service line. I have never had such horrible service in my life. I have only had the service for 1 month and my service is $212 dollars. They claim they charge 2 months in advance but yet I have another bill. The sevice is horrible and my internet is so slow that I use my phone data. The only reason why I have this service is because my apartment does not allow other services. Coming from Xfinity which is the best service, this is by far the worst situation I have ever had. The Reps lie about your bill and you can never get a straight answer out of anyone. Plus they could care less about how you feel. The installation was a hassle and it took several days to get it done. I beg everyone to not use this service. I wish I can give a 0 star. SPECTRUM SUCKS!!!!!!

Absolute disaster in Customer service. It took me two months and 4 (!) visits to the office to fix the improperly billed services. Have been always promised to receive a follow-up call - never happened, so had to go back to the office (in the afternoon jam) every time to chase the progress. Id never expect that to happen these days when Customers are normally valued and cared for?

Terrible service. Very expensive and bad internet connection. A technician came to my house to fix the problem and he said he would get a specialist to fix a problem outside of my house giving me a weak signal. I never heard from him again and didnt get it fixed. This is the only service offered at my apartments until AT&T came around.

We have had Charter cable for 15 years. Recently, we had interrupted service and our cable box turning on randomly including in the middle of the night. We called Charter for a repair. The repairman came out and said it was a problem at the main box and he could not repair the issue. After 2.5 months of this problem we asked Charter for a credit. We spoke to two supervisors and Charter refused to credit us stating it was just an inconvenience. We are looking forward to having other options in the near future. In the meantime, if anyone in Smyrna, GA is receiving great service from another provider, please post as we would very much like to move our service
Charter has really bad service. My modem had some problem and to get it changed I had to call them at least 5-6 times and each time they took 30-40 minutes to make sure its modem and not the router which is causing problem.Finally they told me to go to their office and get the modem changed as if it was my mistake. They told me if I want technician to come and fix it, they will charge me money. This is ridiculous and frustrating but they dont seem to care as they have monopoly in this market.if possible go for any other service and avoid charter.

Working from home with Charter is a nightmare. Never know when the service will be connected or up to speed. And NOT my computer because everytime it goes down, I check neighborhood FB page to be sure Im not alone. since AT&T was brought into our community, bulk of folks have switched over and we will be doing same.
Terrible service. Incompetent technicians. Supervisors who simply dont give a damn. My internet has literally been out for 2 weeks straight, and I have done everything short of begging or bribing Charter to fix this service, and not only do they not show up for the scheduled service appointments (even so-called escalated appointments scheduled with lead technicians and supervisors), but when the technicians do show up, they leave without fixing the problem and then have the nerve to charge you for the visit. I highly recommend against working with Charter.
Customer service hung up on me just now. I am getting only 5 mbps when I pay for 60mbps. Customer service got rude telling me that Charter speed test is the only accurate one. Worse company ever.

It was a happy day for me when we moved to Smyrna, partially because we could finally cancel our COMCAST service (which was horrible). I was very excited to sign up with CHARTER, but that didnt last long. The only thing more pitiful than COMCAST is CHARTER. Honestly, I wouldnt have even thought that that was possible. Dozens & dozens of phone calls, emails, & service visits never truly solve the problems. Such high prices & such terrible TV reception: what a colossal disappointment!

Absolute worst internet company Ive ever had the displeasure of having. Not only do i only get 60/5 for $40 when google and comcast offer much higher speed for virtually the same price. But the awful internet that is spectrum cant even handlea powerline network adapter. The second i try to do anything other than check my email it shuts down my entire internet until i reset it and then itll do it again an hour later. The SECOND a competitor comes Ill be dropping spectrum like a bad habit. If this horrible company ever went out of business Id throw a damn block party in celebration.For anyone thinking about using these fools...DONT. Dial up is better than these morons. If i could give less than a star i would.
