Absolutely excellent vehicle repair establishment.. I have been going there for over 10 years and Howie is super honest. I never have to worry about being lied to about my car like some other places do..Brian and the rest of them are great mechanics !!

I’ve lived minutes from this shop for 20 years and didn’t know they were there. Started working with Howie about a year ago and wish I had found him years ago. It’s rare to leave an auto repair shop and feel you got more than you paid for. If this shop can do the work I wouldn’t look anywhere else.

I brought my car in for brakes. I felt a shimmy when I was stopping. Howie said I will eventually need new rotors and pads, but at this time the car was still safe. He could have easily replaced rotors and pads and I never would have questioned it. Very honest. Great place to deal with.

My wife needed a state inspection and her RAV-4 had a check engine light on. A local shop in Centereach told me they would have to have a specialist come in to diagnose the problem and it would cost 250.00 before repairs. I was recommended to this shop by a friend who owns a body shop. The car was repaired conclusively for a very reasonable fee. They do good work and they are HONEST!! Thank you Howie.

Howard and his crew saved my behind today! I got a letter from them in the mail stating that my car was due for an oil change soon. So I called to schedule, and Howard said bring it right in. So I did. When I went to pick it up, Howard informed me that my left front tire was about to let go.....I commute to the city and back everyday. Ive seen too many memorials along the NSP, and L.I.E. Needless to say I had the tire replaced. But if not for Howard and the good guys at Smithtown Auto Works, who knows what could have happened! Thanks guys!!! Good looking out!!

This man is an angel. I was ready to put a new transmission in a car i bought that wasnt working properly. I decided to let Augie work on it because the guarantee was better and Im so happy i did. He fixed the real problem. I saved thousands of dollars. He was HONEST as they come. Dont go anywhere else. This place is a winner.

An honest mechanic! Went in for a state inspection and an oil change. Im always worried theyre going to try to screw me, and tell me that I need things that I really dont. I was in and out in an hour, at a total cost of $69. Howard was very nice to deal with and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need.

I hired Smithtown Auto Works to perform an inspection on a used car that was located at a nearby dealership. Howard was fantastic. He sent one of his mechanics to the dealership to inspect and drive the car. He wrote up a report for me in a timely fashion. The dealership fixed the problems he noted and I purchased the car. I needed an auto inspection on short notice. I called and the person I spoke to was very courteous. He told me to bring it in the next morning and had it done in a couple hours. Very nice staff, if I have any problems with my vehicle I plan on taking it there.
