Flex pipe for exhaust rotted away. Exhaust was dragging on road. Luckily made it to this meineke on vets highway. Even though it was busy they were able to get me in and replace the flex pipe . I was on my way again in an hour. Great service!

On Saturday 05/01/21 stopped by to replace rattling catalytic converter on S10 Blazer. Front desk guy was rude. Had no knowledge of vehicles and was trying to tell me that i have two catalytic converters in my vehicle. He quoted me $1025 parts and labor. I went down the street and got magnaflow converter with labor for $400 at Bobs.

Thèse guys are a joke and crooks . I brought my car which was a year old for inspection and he failed it for wiper blades . I told him why didn’t you just tell me to buy new one instead of failing my car, no response .

Smithtown Bypass shop at 347 specifically...Guy at front desk has no customer service skills at all and acted like he doesn’t need customers to go to their shop. He refused to use the coupon that I presented to him simply because he wants to and was very obnoxious when asked politely about services they offer as well as timing of service completion. Will never go again.

I had a previous vehicle I brought into Meineke and the workers were very attentive and worked well on it in a safe and timely manner. Recently got another vehicle and the same great and courteous service I received from this shop. Even a short wait while my vehicle was being repaired. Had a serious problem with the alignment with this vehicle dropped it off while the workers checked the car over and received a call that the vehicle was not safe to operate which was appreciated to me. They gave me a decent price amount for the repair and was completed as estimated. I will be returning if any problems and been referring other people I know to go to this particular Meineke shop if they want safe and courteous service. Thanks again 😊

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE.I brought my car here because my front right blinker wasnt working. It took no joke 4 weeks to get my car back. Trying to tell me my entire electrical system was shot. The only thing that did not work was the right blinker! I get the car back making noises Ive never heard before, check engine light is turned on, air flow is not connected. Tried to charge me almost $600.00. These people are crooks, if I could give 0 stars I would.

Cheap oil change but one mechanic who I dealt with was in a bad mood... and they didnt tell me anything about my car afterwards... which is odd because you would think they would be looking to perform another service

Eddie and the guys at Meineke were quick in their diagnosis and just as quick doing the work. They even went above and beyond to make me aware of potential future issues that may come up. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience. The shop was extremely busy when I arrived around 9 AM yet they promised to have my car ready by 3pm the same day despite not even having an appointment. Everyone working there pays close attention to detail and will leave you satisfied every time. Highly recommend.

I made an appointment for an oil change through their website and clicked the “wait for my car” option. Upon arrival it was told to me and my 3 year old that we would have to wait outside for my car in 30° weather due to them not having a waiting room when I was clearly standing in one....When I asked why did they have a “wait for car” option he didn’t have an answer for me. Completely unprofessional, was rude, and as a single mother it’s difficult to get everything done as is. This was just a waste of time and I didn’t appreciate the rudeness.

I would give this place 10 stars and beyond! AMAZING i don’t know the guy name but he was so polite and beyond helpful over the phone and in person! I came in for a oil change and it was quick and affordable. Will be returning for future car issues!!!

Great service and price

Ran in first thing in the morning to get a diagnosis for my check engine light that had just come on and Eddie was able to diagnose and replace the broken part within an hour. Really good guys over there!

I usually wait a few days before I do a review. I went to this Meineke 3/7/2020. They did a good job. The price was ok but they did good work and my truck drives like new👍🏿. I really dont stress the price as long as you get the job done. Ill be back soon to get my breaks done. I give this location 5 stars🙌🏿.

Rude jerk offs

My engine light came on, I called Meineke in Nesconset and they took the car in immediately. I picked it up a couple hours later, repair done for a reasonable price.

They’ll diagnose ANY problem and fix it in a timely manner,(usually same day) and at a fair price. Been using them for more than seven years and never a problem. Don’t drive by; give them a try!

Cant speak any more highly of this place. I came in this morning at 7:00 AM for a much needed and VERY last minute oil change. Eddie squeezed me in at 8:00 AM and had me out by 8:30. I have been here for oil changes in the past and the service is always top notch. On top of this, despite my asking to have this done very last minute, the price for synthetic oil was incredible. Very affordable! Its nice to know that some people still know how to conduct their business in a community oriented manner and Eddie certainly understands that. This shop will definitely be getting all of my business going forth.

Great shop professional and fix my car quick

They did okay work got it done well and on time; but seems like they charge nearly double for parts 180$ part was 400$ with them. I understand you gotta mark up the price but to mark it up 50% is unreal. I surely wont ever be going back to them for anything. Not recommended unless you have no other choice

Smithtown Meineke took me right in and repaired my exhaust system. They only replaced the parts that needed it, saving me money. They also corrected a problem with my brakes that another garage couldn’t handle. My car sounds 100% better.

I am new in the area. I came here for an oil change. I called and made a 12:00 appointment. I didnt have to wait and they were very courteous and professional. They gave me a discount because it was my first time there. I had a wonderful first time experience and will definitely be returning.

Brought my car here to have my tires changed out and they completely ruined my rims. STAY AWAY

My exhaust hangers were rusted away causing exhaust to hang at rear. Took it to meineke, they gave me a price of $400.00The job was done less than an hour. I picked up car, took the car to my mechanic for oil change and asked mechanic to check the exhaust. He showed me what they did.THEY PUT ONE SMALL BRAKET IN MIDDLE WITH AN INCH WELD and the tail pipe WELD OVER THE RUSTED BRACKET and a 6 inch flex pipe which is enough to hold muffler for the time being and BOOM $400.00 dollar charge.

My family has taken our cars here for years. The staff is knowledgeable, fair, and courteous. I have a modern car and an antique car and I wouldnt trust them with anyone else. I drive out from Nassau to have them serviced here.

My neighbors love me again and I love Smithtown Meineke for their reasonable prices and courteous service in replacing my muffler.

These guys are great over here. Both Dean and Ed always go out of their ways to do the right thing, and to help guide you in the right direction. I have been going to them for over 10 years now, and they have serviced every car Ive owned in that time from mustangs to 300zs to jeeps to camerys.. they have serviced them all for me and always were very fair, and more importantly did great work.. I will definitely recommend them in the future.

I have used them a few times and it is definitely a mixed bag. Eddie is rude and disrespectful, at pick-up time tries to pad the bill and cut corners on items like warranty agreements. Dean is honest and pleasant and happy to answer your questions and work with you on an acceptable deal. The actual repairs were nothing spectacular - I had to return 4 times for a brake job that they never got right and I get the sense that the recent strut replacement they did used substandard parts as it still doesnt feel great.

I purchased a truck from a used car dealership that turned out to have an exhaust leak. They sent me here to have it fixed and they did a great job. The cut out the pipes that were problematic and replaced it with fresh steal, they leveled my exhaust tips, and were honest about the resonator being beyond repair and instead of being shady like some other places would because it was a Borla setup and resonator. They had no problem giving it back to me. And the welds they did seem to have sealed perfectly. No taps, putt putt noises. My Hemi sounds great again! Very pleased

I brought my car in recently to get new brakes. The parts were almost double the price of most online company parts. Eddie the service rep wasnt very pleasant and helpful either. When I told him I had a coupon for an oil change, He pretty much told me it was too late and that they changed the oil already and that the coupon was only for regular oil and not synthetic oil. Had I known that I would have asked for regular oil. When I asked if they gave discounts for nypd or fdny or any law enforcement they said no and there was no discretion or even a nice gesture as to allowing me to use the coupon. Will not be taking my car back there again for service. You won this time Meineke of Smithtown. I lost.

This is one of the shadiest shops around. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TOLD THINGS THAT DONT NEED TO GET DONE! Yesterday they told me that my car would be fine for inspection if I did the rear brakes costing $400 and I need to get an inspection done or my car will fail with the new bullshit laws NYS put in place so come back. They didnt know that I do all the work on my car. Today I come back with my brakes done and magically they cant inspect my car for fines that dont come into play until tomorrow. So it was ok yesterday when you were going to sell me rear brakes that I didnt really need? Right.... What a piece of garbage that little guy was! Avoid this place. They are only willing to do something if they can screw you over. Go to anyone else but here.
