After 30 plus years of wear, ACE did a wonderful job refinishing our oak flooring in the living room. Highly recommend them.

Wow! These guys are good. They were able to easily and graciously accommodate me cancelling on them twice. When we were finally ready for them, they were in doing the job within 3 days of my call. Our floors are OLD and were in very bad shape. They are pine boards that had never been sealed and had seen 250 years of wear and tear. They made them look magical - for an outstandingly affordable price. If I could, Id give them 10 stars.

Did an excellent job refinishing my floors. They were $250 less than every other quote and came out the next day to start work. The guy even refinished two of my entryway steps for free. Very professional and would definitely work with them again.

Came out the day I called for a quote actually within about an hour gave a really competitive price for my carpet. When they did the work they did it well and in a timely manner. Would recommend to anyone.

I waited 2.5 years to provide a review because I wanted to see how the flooring held up. We had two projects done within a few months of each other. We had old wooden basement stairs covered in carpet. We had a basement covered in wood like flooring that Troy recommended when he came to do measurents. His price on both projects were exactly what he quoted, and both were cheaper than others quotes. Troy also helped us decide on what type of flooring for our needs. Other places had suggested carpet for our basement (for more money). Troy told us why that would not be the best bang for our buck and gave us an alternative. Anyway. The install on both jobs were timely and professional.2.5 years later and I am so glad we used ACE. Our carpet on the stairs has held up and our basement floor looks still looks amazing. Even better, we dont have that basement smell because the flooring is made to handle basement humidity (I think he said something like that).Anyway, we have 4 rooms that need hardwood floors refinished and a kitchen that needs a new floor. Without a doubt, we will use ACE again.

We called on a Sunday and Troy answered the phone. He said wed get a call from Rick and sure enough Rick called. Rick was prompt and courteous. ACE Wood Flooring does a top notch job on your floors. My mother and aunt have used them in the past and their dull floors came out looking brand new!

There are much better options than this poorly run place, rude owner

I called ACE to make an appointment for a quote and they came to Chepachet in literally 1 hr. They were punctual and professional. The quality of work was great and the price was affordable as well. Staff just goes in and does the job! We are very happy!!

I had Ace Wood Flooring refinish the hardwood in my home inRiverside. From start to finish it was a pleasant and easy experience. From the first call, when they did indeed answer the phone as advertised, to the last man out the door, Ace delivered 5 star service. Even a small unexpected repair did not faze them one bit. The floors look amazing, and I would recommend Ace to anyone.

Quality of work is just fair. The final floor finish applied to our hardwood flooring has many rough spots. If you would like to get a good or excellent job completed I would not recommend Ace Flooring. Attention to detail and pride in work is lacking.

Men who did installation were nice and did a great job. However, the communication between management and their installers is extremely lacking! A week prior, Tom came to measure the room and wrote down everything that needed to be done. Anyway, the day of install, the workers called me before they arrived and asked me if there was furniture to move and if I had carpet to remove. I started to get nervous after this phone call. When they arrived one of the men was visibly upset when he saw the furniture that needed to be moved and said he wasn’t physically able to do it. He stated that he wished he would have known or he would have brought more men. They were confused about what to do so I proceeded to help the younger man move the furniture downstairs. I called the owner and he reimbursed me the furniture moving fee and also sent 2 men to help with the remaining furniture. I appreciate him trying to remedy the situation but I feel like it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. When they were installing the carpet they also asked me if they needed to carpet the stairs! The workers knew nothing about the job! It wasn’t their fault. It was poor communication from their managers. I am extremely disappointed with the whole situation, not to mention the fact that I am still extremely sore two days later from lifting the heavy furniture. Having work done should be stress fee and it wasn’t. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I definitely would not recommend this company. We called them because we needed a repair to our existing hardwood floors and to refinish our existing floor. The job was done fast, but with many issues. 1st, the floor did not shine. When we called to have them come back, they told us the poblem was they did not use enough sealant . ..( used 4 cans instead of 7). We had to empty the room a 2nd time so it could be sanded and resealed.They missed many spots. They taped entry ways and sides of window and peeled off paint when removing tape. ( never told us). They splashed sealant up the sides of cabinet . They told us it can not be removed. The floor they repaired has huge gaps. Now it looks like we have cracks in our floor. The men are very nice, but the owner was very uncaring and not responsive to our complaints. We had to contact him many times. We never even got an apology for the sloppy work and errors.

Will not recommend to anyone. They called the morning of the appointment to tell me they would not be able to get to me that day because they had people call in sick. But found out that they were just behind on other jobs. So needed to take extra time out of work so they could eventually finish the job. When asking for some compensation as to the extra time I had to take out of work. They said the price of the job is the price of the job. No, Im sorry maybe there is something we could do for you. NOTHING! Just repeated the price of the job is the price of the job. So disappointed. Again will not recommend to anyone.Adding to my review in response to ACEs Comments:Fact: You were supposed to show up at my house around 8am. But did not until just after 2pm that day.Fact: You or you employee lied to me as to why you were late.Fact: If you had gotten to my house when scheduled you would have finished in 2 days and would not have had to run into the third day making me take more time out of work.Opinion: We were deserving of some sort of compensation due to your tartiness and in my opinion were rude on the phone when I was trying to talk to you.

They stick to their word - answer the phone, quick response, excellent work, good price and completed on time.

I dropped off a rug to be bound over 2 months ago. Not only has the work not been done, but the owner refuses to respond to several emails that were sent. I even stopped by two weeks ago and was promised the rugs by now. He knew my email when he sent me a bill for other work done. Horrible customer service.

Great products and pricing.

Called for a free estimate to have my family room sanded and refinished and they wouldnt come out until we measured the room. Told them it was an odd shaped room, kinda like octagon and gave them an ~ sqft and they wouldnt come out.

Ace was price competetive, and the crew was very professional and attentetive to my requests. The job was started at the time agreed upon and finished as they told m it would be. We would hire them again to do our floors.

The management is great but one particular employee is not and that employee is highly unprofessional I have received messages from threading me off of his company cell phone he also sends unwanted photos to under aged female he needs to be delt with I have contacted the ace but havent received a email back if this continues Im suing that employee for harassment
