We hired Ioan to refinish our hard wood floors which are nearly 100 years old. He sanded the floors and replaced pieces that were beyond repair. Then he stained and varnished them. He applied 4 colors of stain from we could choose, he also gave us his recommendation which is what we chose. He did an amazing job, the floors look beautiful! We highly recommend Hardwood by Dracula!

The quality of work was outstanding, and completed on time and within the cost estimate provided. Joan was patient, and highly responsive despite being very busy with projects. John did an awesome job on our hardwood floors for our family room. He was very quick to give us a thorough quote and was able to work with our budget and be very transparent about everything. John is not only friendly, hes very trustworthy and I felt comfortable with him working in my home while I wasnt there. He got the job done efficiently and cleaned up nicely and even helped me move all my furniture back into the room. Dont waste your time shopping around for another floor guy, hes the best!

I used this service a week ago for restoring original wood flooring in a bedroom, since the house was built in 1970. Not knowing what to expect John was not only very knowledgeable but well experienced in his trade. He also came up with the best course of action to make the floors look brand new. He is very professional, punctual and easy to work with. I have other projects that I will be using his services again. I highly recommend him.

This was the second time Ive used Dracula for service of my heart before. The work was somehow even better than I remembered... And, I thought it was amazing the first time around. This guy gets it. Quality service and and unbelievable value makes it hard to imagine dealing with anyone else in the future. Cannot recognize the services by Dracula enough. John had done two floors for us, one with pre finished wood we purchased in advance and most recently, wood he obtained and stained to match flooring we had in the house already. He is amazing and does fabulous work. I would highly recommend him.

I had this guy doing my floors 3 years ago. I have an old house that had some hardwood floor already but tiles in the kitchen and carpet in the bedrooms. So quite a few transitions and difficult details. I think he did a great job, price was very decent and also hes very professional and clean.

I have used John twice, the first time he put in a new subfloor in the bathroom of my mothers very old house. He was very professional and fair in his pricing. I recently had him refinish and stain my hardwood floors. He does all the work himself and is very attentive to detail. His work is done as promised and he makes sure he does it the way you want. Both jobs were finished in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to hire him again for any flooring job.

I contact around 10 different hardwood floor installers and only a few were responsive and knowledgeable; John being one of them. His initial price offering was reasonable from the get-go. He wasnt the cheapest, but wasnt the most expensive either; I value quality work and professionalism over cheapness though. He has significant experience in his work and is very skilled; from what I saw - being handy myself in home improvement projects.He took the initiative to meet me at the hardwood supply store to go over the options. We decided the hardwood I wanted and locked a date for installation. He was kind enough to pick up the hardwood from the store and arrived on time to deliver everything on the date we agreed; while he was there, he ripped out the existing carpet.For the next 4 days, he was diligent and worked hard to install the hardwood. He made sure the sub-floor was leveled. He also put screws where necessary to eliminate creaking noises when walking. I asked him to install sound barrier since this was in the bedrooms on 2nd floor to help reduce noise coming down when someones walking upstairs. He recommended a good product and I personally feel like it makes good difference.He went room by room and did an excellent job. The floor looks amazing. Everything is leveled and no squeaky noises when we walk. He ensures he cleans everything up very nicely and protects the new floor as necessary (by covering with cardboard boxes) to avoid scratching the floor when furniture or other stuff is moved around.I would definitely hire John again for any hardwood floor job and would recommend him to anyone who needs such service.
