The owner Joe and his wife are really nice people. Before you apply to work for them you should know a few things. They have a driver named Frank that delegates to other drivers. Actually does more delegating then performing his actual duties. Delegating duties were the responsibilities of the dispatcher I thought. Doesnt work that way. The other drivers are loyal and willing to work long hours and vary their hours to help the owner with his needs. You would think that if the drivers are willing to take care of the needs of the company then the company would do the same. Alas, there is no dental or vision. Drivers have to pay for medical although it is at a somewhat discounted rate. Most of the trucks are older trucks but the drivers do a great job with what they have. The company does have the ability to watch their drivers though as there is gps on the trucks and cameras. Other than that, great company to work for.

With no contacts in the Chicago area and needing a load reworked and temporary storage, I called around and found no one willing or able to help. JRC reworked the load and ended up delivering it to the destination. They were a pleasure to deal with, and despite knowing I was in a pinch, their rates were reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to others.
