When asking about a serious topic like child support I was asked if I even knew what that was. Then when I answered, I was told that wasn’t the true definition. So I asked what is it then? And was told that it doesn’t matter anymore for whatever reason. I thought I could simply be treated with respect being that I was looking to them for advice due to my lack of knowledge. Instead I got a taste of arrogance and a poor level of attitude that was anything but professional. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

The guy that answered the phone did not give me his name and started asking questions. He then told me that a free consultation wouldnt do me any good because its a formula for child support. I proceeded to ask additional questions and the guy raised his voice saying its a Blanking formula. So I hung up and here I am now writing this post. I would not use this companys services nor would I recommend them to anybody. I hope this attorneys office goes belly up.

Dave is an awesome attorney! My divorce was supposed to be simple and uncontested. That turned into my ex disappearing for 2 years before she signed and me not contacting Dave during this time because I wasnt sure if he could do anything. When I did contact him I wasnt even expecting a response but Dave simply said well transition to contested, have her served and this will be over shortly. A couple months later my divorce was finalized without issue. Dave was always available to answer any questions either through text, calls or emails and you always knew he had your back. Hopefully I dont have to contact him again for the same reason but I will not hesitate if it comes to that. The only attorney Ive ever worked with that made you feel like a friend was helping you out. Highly recommend!

Attorney Wolkowitz has represented me - and Im an attorney myself. He brings a unique perspective and is a persuasive writer. While he is ready and able to settle a case, he can also go to trial and destroy a witness on cross-examination. As a divorce mediator, he is no-nonsense.

So please see exhibit A on yelp I have attached a 2 minute call to his number from my call history. If this didnt happen why do I still have it in my call logs, and why did my consultation only last 2 minutes which was rounded up to the next minute by my cell provider. The call was probably a little over a minute because he was so rude, and hes continuing to private message me about this.

I retained David for an uncontested divorce, which my ex immediately contested, because she didnt like the minutiae. It took probably 6 months instead of 2. Much of that was from going back and forth with my ex and her multiple lawyers. Dave is easy to talk to and straightforward.The only reason I didnt give him 5 stars is that it sometimes took weeks for him to respond, and it was sometimes quite difficult to schedule face-to-face time with him. He prefers email, so that everything is documented, but that is sometimes not an efficient way. Not a big complaint, I would use him again.

Best divorce ever! Ok, my first divorce, but David was amazing. I was having issues working out dissolving my civil union in Chicago while I lived in NY. David made the process super easy, and even followed up with me when I forgot to reply to emails. The process was super fast.
