Haben Funeral Home has conducted three separate funerals for a friend and two members of my family. They say what they will do and they do precisely what they say. The immediate days after someone passes away are just hard. I did not know how to navigate the funeral process and the handling of a loved ones body. They walked us through what the funeral ceremony would be like and the burial/cremation. They are also very knowledgable and accommodating on ceremonies for difference religions and cultures. They knew more about the Hindu ceremony that I did. They took care of my mom a few years ago and we went right back to them for my dad recently. They are very professional. During such a difficult time, the Haben Funeral Home was a comfort to our family. The staff had a gentle and efficient manner and the facility was beautiful, peaceful, and serene.

I cannot say enough good things about this funeral home. We had used them in the past after my parents died. We recently used them for the wake and funeral of my dear husband who passed in February 2021. Most of our interactions were with John Haben. He was very sympathetic, met with us very promptly, and was very organized with everything that needed to be arranged. He had helpful suggestions for the funeral readings, music, and dates and times, etc. He gave us a wide variety of options for casket, flowers, and special little touches to personalize everything. We did not feel pressured, he simply showed us what was available and allowed us to go with what we felt was best. At the wake, our priest was unable to be at that portion of the process, so at our request, John very kindly said some prayers after family members spoke about my husband. For the funeral, again everything was very well organized, he directed the pallbearers and guided everyone through from the Mass, on to the cemetery. It was a fitting send off for a beloved man, and I am grateful to Haben Funeral Home for their care and attention.

Very good funeral service experience; a bit pricey but comparable for the service received. The entire staff is very professional, efficient and friendly. My only concern is the option to retrieve a trinket made from your dead loved ones fingerprint. This is great if you want it. However, I said I did not want it and it was done anyway. I am sure it was not nefarious and was just forgotten with all the planning. So, be sure to clearly express your option for this service. Other than this hiccup, this is a great company to use for your funeral needs and I would definitely recommend!

Made a difficult time easier by having met with us many years ago to pre-plan my parents funerals. Provided us with support and explained everything through each step especially during changes related to the pandemic.They were professional and some of the touches such as taking a picture of the flowers and attaching the card to them made it easy to thank those who reached out. Everything was nicely packaged and they took care of each detail as explained. Cannot say enough to thank them for their concern and sympathy during our time of sorrow.

We started working with Richard Kehoe a couple years ago to have my parents completely select the items and services they wanted for their funeral in the future. Richard came out to their assisted living, which was a tremendous help as they don’t ambulate well. He brought catalogs of everything they needed to view, and we were able to finalize the entire process in one meeting. When my Dad recently passed away, everything was in place and we didn’t have to concern ourselves with details as we were grieving. Haben handled every aspect of process as they promised. With the increased difficulties of a funeral during Covid, they were extremely accommodating to help us with safety and reducing exposure. Someone always picked up the phone when we called. I mostly spoke/dealt with John and Will Haben, they were always professional and provided immediate help. The visitation/funeral details all proceeded with great respect and organization. I would highly recommend Haben and have comfort knowing that when the day comes, my mother will also be well taken care of.

When you enter the funeral home you feel a sense of peace. There is also ample parking. The staff was helpful and showed genuine compassion, which put me at ease during a difficult time. Every question was answered and followed up. Chad was patient with me as I made several tweaks to my husband’s obituary. After all was said and done, Richard followed up with me to schedule a post-consultation meeting that I found helpful during the grieving process. The onsite crematory attracted me to this facility. EDIT: Today we had my grandmothers memorial and although tier 3 covid mitigations were started today, the service Haben provided was wonderful and I am beyond pleased. HINDU SERVICE AND CREMATION FOR MOTHER. John Haben and his team were extremely professional, responsive (I called to begin planning after 9:30 PM on a Saturday evening before Mothers Day with a somewhat non-standard request), accommodating, empathetic, and thoughtful. Perhaps most importantly, they knew exactly what to do and how to do it, while respecting the wishes of the deceased and the family and handling it all (seemingly) effortlessly, yet making it feel highly personalized. The facility, itself, is top-notch and tastefully understated. Despite it being a difficult time of loss, our family was very pleased with, and grateful for, the seamless experience -- it certainly exceeded expectations.
