Fun night at the Belator fights. Good service, but ran out of concession items too often and too quickly. Great atmosphere though!

Had never been in there till about a week ago.Very nice and surprised to what all they have squeezed in there!

What a beautiful arena. 6 extra courts for teams to practice, play. We stayed at the Fairfield literally a few steps away. Also a good place to stay. Unfortunately, the NAIA tournament was canceled due to the virus and did not get to see our Olivet Tigers play...

This really is a great venue. I came in with low expectations and was very impressed by the attention to detail, and everything that this venue offers. My only complaint is its relative isolation compared to the rest of Sioux Falls. There is really nothing else out here. Theres one restaurant but the service can be rather slow just simply because it only seems to serve venue crowds. There are other Athletic facilities which is great, but additional development really is needed.

Great facility, we travel here regularly for AAU basketball and its always a good experience.

Went here for NCAA basketball game. Nebraska Huskers vs Oklahoma State Cowboys. Great time. I got 2 souvenir sodas and a popcorn right before half for only $8. Line was short and service was quick. They had beer for this game, I dont think that is true for all events like high school basketball or volleyball. Plenty of parking is available, but plan on walking a long ways if there is going to be a big crowd.

Staff were rude. And they were checking bags for water bottles. And couldnt bring in a stroller for my son who cant even walk.

Sioux Falls, The Pentagon and the people of Sioux Falls were great hosts for the NCAA D2 tournament.

Always a great experience at the Pentagon. The staff does a wonderful job running tournaments, keeping athletes and spectators safe.

Beside the beautiful vintage retro facility being well designed for basketball, the seating is horrible, noisy and annoying. The seating at the 50+years old Arena is still FAR BETTER. The cheer meet at the Pentagon was even more horrible especially when a theres a lot of kids traffic stomping down and up the stairs all through the meet.

Really unassuming place. Seats were great and the place was nice. Had to walk a bit for a concession stand.

Great location to play basketball/play in a basketball tournament! The Skyforce games have a great environment and are family friendly!Paul Seville does a great job of managing the place and every tournament runs on time or ahead of schedule and they have tournaments almost every weekend during the summer!

Great facility! Sanford spares no expense when they build an event center. The food is great and the drinks are cold and the service is fun and friendly. Its great to see Sioux Falls growing and offering the same things that bigger cities have had for years.

So they say NO outside food. As we walk around inside the facility people have small cooler and outside food everywhere. We went to the vehicle to get a small bag of grapes, because the food is expensive and there are NO healthy choices, unless hotdogs, nachos, pizza and pretzels (a few examples) are now healthy. They should wonder why so many people sit outside with healthier choices. In the end we ended up bring the grapes back to the car because NO outside food. If that is the rule than maybe staff should walk around and in force the rule for everyone! On a good note the facility is a wonderful place for the kids to play.

Came in last minute to watch some former Iowa State players. The price was fair and they were great about letting us move up after the game started into empty seats. Good atmosphere, expensive concessions.

If you are going to the pentagon to participate in a traveling volleyball tournament I highly recommend to go somewhere else. Our tournament was cut in half with no explanation given other than the fact that their pentagon team had won and they didn’t want to lose anymore games. The refs are extremely biased towards the pentagon team because they work for the pentagon arena. Prices for concessions are extremely high ($4 for a Powerade!!!) so unless you love getting unfair reffing and unfair playing choose a different tournament. P.S. if you’re watching your kid play in anything bring your own chairs! They provide barely anything for seating as the bleachers are put away for the non college and pro games.

Here for JO Vollyball Tournament all i can say is, hopefully you can stand for extended periods of time! This place has to be one of the dumbest setups i have ever been to. If you are elderly or have kids, i would try to avoid this place. I even brought our own seating and fruit snacks for kids and they would not allow me to bring it inside! How unfair, all they want is your money and make you feel as uncomfortable as possible. The staff running this establishment is more of riot control than anything, disrespectful to almost everyone i saw talking with them! I would be hiding in my office to if I was the person running this place!

Skyforce games are always fun to watch. I love the fact that there is a lot of room for young boys and girls to have tournaments. Overall, a great place.

Concessions are very very expensive. Had the worst experience with customer service. They didn’t give me my change (quite a few dollars) there is also not a lot of seating and space. I would definitely not recommend coming here.
