I walked in and was greeted immediately. The gentleman took a look at my laptop right away. Turns out I just needed a new charger and it only cost me $26. Great deal and very friendly staff!

Computer randomly stopped working, brought it in and was assured I would either get it back working or get all of my files onto a new computer. Fixed the computer the next day and when I came in to pick it up I was offered a new hard drive installed for no extra labor charge and they had that done the next day. My laptop also runs a lot smoother. Staff are very nice and helpful. Will be coming back for anything computer related.

Heartland is true to its namesake! Amazing service while still being competitively priced. Local shop with big time customer care. Ive personally bought four PCs from them and a 32 monitor. Monitor had a bad solder and they reimbursed and made it right, the exact same day! Service like that isnt heard of anymore.

Good place, but take longer than I would on fixing things

Took 3 days to answer questions about a laptop every question took 3+ hours to get the question answered. When I wanted to buy the laptop they sold it… also only 1 person knows anything about the laptops and most of the time that guy isn’t in the office. Worst Experience trying to buy anything.

These people are awesome! They helped me to figure out what was wrong with my computer and when we determined that it just wasnt up to what I needed it to do they got me a good deal on a replacement. They also were able to transfer all my data and programs over so when I opened my new computer for the first time, all my programs worked and looked like they had on the old computer. Everything was where I needed it to be.

Bad experience. Owner was nice. His workers were rude. They fixed it without giving me an estimate like I asked. And never called when it was done. It took a month and a half to get back.

The people here are magnificent. They guide you through each step of the way. They always make sure to get you exactly what you want, and do it relatively quickly. I also had my laptop repaired here, and it was pretty quick. Make sure to come here for any computer related needs!

They fixed what I asked them to do and put a new hard drive in but after they fixed my battery it started blue screening even more Im very upset with this company I pay them 400 and they cant even cut me a break for the battery not working ridiculous Ill bring it somewhere else next time

Made multiple attempts to contact them in regards to my laptop I left to have memory pulled out of.

My daughter went here and was treated great than my husband called and ordered a CPU unit with extra RAM. We paid over $900.00. My husband also asked to get a price on 2 monitors for it. He never got a price. I went to pick up the CPU and the man behind the counter put it up on the counter for me, it is very heavy. I asked if they found a couple monitors for it and the lady asked that guy, he came around to the front of the store and was looking at some boxes. The lady asked him if he was helping me and he said “no I was going to go through these first”. I said “forget it, could you carry the computer to my car” he did, not saying anything else. I guess they didn’t want the rest of our business. I would not go there again.

Reasonably priced, but associates dont know their own inventory and store hours are only a guideline. I was asked to leave and drive across town to the other location so they could close 3 hrs early - and I walked into the store intent on buying a pair of laptops. They lost that sale.

I brought my tower pc to Heartland PC Wednesday after the wind storms we had. I figured my tower lost the power unit because of power outage from storms. Brought it in and Jason greeted me. He graciously advised that they will look my unit over and let me know what happened etc.Within 24 hours I received a call back advising the power is out and options to repair. Jason was indeed kind to advise the repair and time. Before they closed Thursday, I showed up. I thought the bill would be $130 and learned I saved about $13. The kindness and caring has my attention. I even asked about swapping out ram and Jason advised I had plenty.Heartland PC has my business going forward compared to a gruff competitor known as PC gold.. Heartland PC has my business needs met and I will go out and let others know you care a lot more than others. Excelsior!!!

Great people and quality equipment

This computer store is a hidden treasure in Sioux Falls. They know their stuff and provide sincere customer service. When we had an issue with one of our purchases, they made it right and did so in a timely manner. Other computer stores (more well known) are still capable of providing you with solutions and hardware, but working with the employees of this business made me a lifetime customer. Highly recommended!

Have purchased several laptops for our shops use. For technical purposes and even programming. They are friendly and to the point. I like that. This is where i go for any CPU needs and save big because i wont buy new for a automatic transmission repair shop.

The lady on the phone was awesome; super friendly. When I got there they were able to check my computer at that time to determine the problem. He replaced my hard drive and it was ready the next morning. Both the people I worked with were amazing. Im so glad I didnt take it to the competitor that I called because they said it would be 2-3 days before they could look at it. Boom! Done the next morning!

Took my computer in December 2019 and they put in new drive and windows 10. April 2020 took over computer not working and was told operating system compromised. The other employee yelled at me and called me a liar. So took computer and left

Heartland Computers has done a great job with repairs and service on all of my computers. They are easy to contact, have very friendly service, and very fair prices. I have sent several of my friends there as well to have their computers looked at or fixed and with great results. Highly recommend this company. Give them a try, I think you will love their service and prices.

I stopped by looking for an item. There was one person sitting at his desk behind the counter. He never looked up or greeted me. I walked around looking for the item I wanted but didn’t find it. I came up to the counter and looked through the display case. He should have at least acknowledged me. I left disappointed. This is unusual as someone usually greets me when I come in.

Carl has been more than helpful with my computer build. He always took time to answer questions and has very good prices for computer parts. Ive enjoyed Carls service and helpfulness and highly recommend Heartland Computers.

I walked in, they dropped what they were doing to help me. I showed them what was damaged, one look and she said, We have that, just a second. 30 seconds later she came back with what I needed. It was a third of the price I expected. I was in and out, didnt overpay, amiable employees, knew exactly what I needed. I walked out amazed. I will never go to Best Buy again. Highly Recommend this place for any computer needs!

I had great experience at Heartland Computers, every time that I called to check on what was going on with my computer they made sure they were familiar with my computer and my situation. They called when it was ready and told me how much it was going to cost! Very reasonable price and I will be back if I need them again!

I bought a used Chromebook that lasted 10 months before it simply stopped working. I brought it in hoping to get it fixed and the lady told me, That is just a throw away computer. I didnt make a stink and instead purchased another used laptop. I have had less than a year and its incredibly slow. Lesson learned. I will but new next time.

I had a awful experience! I took my laptop in for a free diagnosed and was told it was a virus and would cost $85. I told them to fix it. They removed the virus and called and said it was fixed.(it was to take a couple of days, ended up a week!) I got home and found out it wasnt fixed, I had the exact same problem!! I took it back in. Now they say I need a new battery and harddrive for another $280! I told them I wasnt going to put in about $400 for a older laptop. They refused to refund the $85 I had already paid( for a fix that wasnt the problem!!! ) So after taking a week to get my laptop back and having to make 2 trips into Sioux falls and paying $85. Im out money and time a d a computer that still doesnt work. Worst customer service ever!!! Dont waste your time or money! Free diagnosed will be $85 to remove a virus

I have now bought 2 laptops from Heartland. Both times I have received outstanding customer service, especially from Carl and Carol. Even though I now live in Lincoln, NE, I will not buy a laptop from anywhere else!

Had a customer come to me asking about their laptop charger. They gave him a universal charger they said would work. his laptop battery then went from having a 7 hour charge to an hour. I called the manufacture and they said the battery was most likely fried now and needed a specific charger because the universal chargers pushed out to much amperage. I got him the charger from the manufactures for less then the charger they got him. They also deleted his bad review which I also believe might happen to this one.

My laptop would not start and I was going to buy a new one but a friend told me about these guys. I didnt want to spend to much but I needed my documents so I visited their store. Turns out I just needed one part replaced and they had it back to me the same day for under $50.You can bet in a couple of months once Ive got the money I will be back to buy a new laptop or iPad.
